i love that they're both insane but like, weirdly not that toxic? beyond the stalking which they're clearly both into lol, but someone else pointed out how he only goes after the bully and not the friend, and there's a scene in which they're just playing chess normally - they're perfectly fine just hanging out with each other and enjoying each other's company, no "i have to be hanging off your arm 24/7." this is such an interesting dynamic????? i love them????
That's pretty much their whole thing! :) They both actually want to interact with each other and really do like the other. They're a little twisted sure, but they're not really anything like the yandere/typical stalker trope honestly. Think less "ill get rid of anyone near you, you're only allowed to be around me" and more like "if anyone hurts you ill ruin them, and also you smell good- wanna get lunch later?" LOL

I love how it shows two sides of obsession; the first side being more manipulative by threatening people around him to stay away from him and some destructive behaviors, like collecting his clothes and stocking him. And the other side, being gently obsessive by collecting small trinkets that remind them of the other person and hoping that they’ll start a relationship and get married.

If I'm being totally honest I didn't think about it too much- LOL realistically since Daiki (dark hair, bags under the eyes) only hangs out with Vincenzo (stubble) and Robert (blue shirt,) and they have different hair types/colors, it couldn't really be anyone else's, since who else is he around? its just sort of understood that its definitely his. lolol
