Mia did another wonderful video on a difficult opera. She is just natural, Thank you Mia.
A really cool idea! It's much easier to watch an opera if you already know what is going to be happening. (It's not like it's a thriller that you would watch for the twists in the plot :).) And this style of presentation, fun and lighthearted, is really nice -- those who might not like it are probably the kind of people who would prefer to read a much more in-depth analysis anyway. Well done!
In this hard times she made us laugh and be happy again. We would love to adopt Mia Mandineau. Thank you very much. Keep Safe and Healthy.
Mia is amazing!
I love this!! 😍😍😍
How many of these opera recaps have u done? Want to see them all. Wonderfulness
Hi @C ru, Mia has her own channel which is called @L'opéra et ses zouz. But we'll continue to publish some of her recaps here as well. Next one will be about Nabucco in April!
Renée Fleming sings it every 5 minutes :-)
You are too cute! Thank you so much oh talented one!
What would be the 2 characteristics of the character rusalka ?
Just found your videos! LOVE this opera! But the thing is I can't understand what they're saying idk if they're singing in English or Russian but either way I can't understand any opera. Is that just means or are you like not supposed to understand opera lyrics
It's Czech
Ms. Mandineau, What do you think is the difference between a mermaid and a water nymph? None ... right? They are both two wet sopranos. One slightly saltier than the other. :-)
Rukasepar Don‘t lick sopranos!
mermaids live in the sea, water nymphs are fresh water!
