- The Su-25SM3 is a russian close-air support plane at BR 11.7. It feautres 4 Kh-38ML missiles that have extreme range, allowing you to strike enemies before they know you exist or can do anything about it. Unfortunately due to graphical bugs, I was only able to keep this video short, I hope you still can enjoy it.

why are people complaining about the SM3 all of a sudden? the SU-25T was already doing the things that the SM3 is doing now for a while now.
Half the countries don't even have anything nearly comparable to this for CAS. Probably the only country that can compare is USA. Like Germany's best CAS aircraft at top tier is the 11.3 Tornado with GBUs, and that's it. Russia has the best CAS and the best SPAA. What gives? Shit is not fun at all to play against and the point of a game is to be fun.
@@ILikeTuwtles That is not even close, half the nations have fire and forget missiles and F16s and Grippens are faster and more maneveurable than this thing. Russia isn't even top 3
@@Samuel9 Half the nations have fire and forget missiles with 10-13km range at the most except for the AGM-65H that only Gripens get. So if you want to die to a Pantsir well before you are able to get within the range of using your missiles then go for it. The AGM-65H is cool if you want to play Sweden but in the current meta British and French ground are not competitive at top tier, which is why nobody is playing them. Another thing to consider is that Russia/Chinese helicopters all have longer range ATGMs than all NATO ATGMs which puts them very close to the max range, and in some cases even outside the range of some nations top tier SPAA, while any NATO helicopter will always be well within range of Russian or Chinese SPAA. Saying Russia isn't even top 3 is pure copium, because Russia is easily in the top 3, and very clearly number 1 when you pair CAS capability with SPAA capability.

I dunno if this was needed, "atleast they can say we're finished with the Su-25 series" There is only one earlier SU-25SM but its pretty much like the Su-25BM i dont see them adding it, now we can finally hope they are going for SU-24 and then Su-34.

I fucked up and didn't research that entire line from like 4.0, so now I'm stuck grinding shit in the su-39 so I don't have to do low tier CAS.

@@wongarnold2879 the best CAS jet now is the SU25SM3. The problem is, the only spaa that can rival its missile range is the Pantsir. Both are in russia. That’s the problem with balance. You place the best spaa and cas together in one nation instead of giving another nation a better spaa like italy, japan, or israel. That’s why there is bias.

It's good to know that the urrs finally got a jet comparable to the F16C with 6 x AGM64D that track moving targets at 11km + 2 GBU-24 with 500kg each one, and the amazing flight performance of the f16 that helps it when you wanna evade sam missiles 😉

Do the TV guided kh 38's lock on to moving tanks? If yes what is the lock on range to moving tanks? (I dont have the jet yet!!)
Since they are IIR and seem to have the same lock range stats as the others of the same type, around 9-12km depending on size.
@@Wotplaya4 on moving tanks? Because the kh 29te can also lock the ground from that range but not moving tanks!

I noticed u launch missiles from 13k or 14k max range but i kept wondering why sont u launch from 16k away? I always launch from minimum like bare minimum 15k away and by the time im 10km from the battlefield the missile already reached the target meanwhile i see u getting 5km away and its so uneccesery

Not so much just go to sim battle and unlock first the maw. Its 11.7 and this means he cant go fight against 12.0-12.7 jet. Usually at his br you will fight against f4, tornado, mig23 and other under the 12.0.

Lol it’s crazy Gaijin added this missile on this Su25. According to some findings on the internet it looks like the only launch platforms are the Su34, Su57 and the Ka52K. This is stupid that they added it this early to the game considering how advanced these aircraft that can use this are. Should not of been added since Russia also has the longest range SPAA and the only real counter to this is a fighter that can intercept and shoot down the Su25 because it has a 40km launch range. Absolutely absurd.
Also to note another fact if they want to add something like this to the game where it definitely doesn’t need to be added,then there’s no reason why they can’t give other vehicles other ammunition i.e M829A3 to the Abram’s for example, Hellfire L for the Apaches. But you know it’s not like these vehicles didn’t use them or any thing, when they actually do use them. It’s total bullshit that Gaijin is gonna sit there and say “oh these hellfires don’t need to be added , or M829A3 doesn’t need to be added to the game” because they don’t see it as a necessary add. Even though it was designed to pass through contact 5 ERA having upwards to 720mm of penetration. But then again here they go adding the Obj. 292 to Russia where it has 695mm pen. Again Russian bias. You’re cooked if you think it isn’t.

@@Ecipse-hr5nkexcept the issue is not necessarily bias but that there are no SPAA that can really be added to counter these. Patriot is 80km at its shortest range variant, and you and I both know how amazingly effective that system is.

Farming though really. Where's 'the game' in that. Against bots fine, against other people not so much. Against hackers it might be a thing if Gaijin would highlight the hackers so you could farm them. Not very impressive gameplay in my opinion. Not attacking you just think the whole thing is shitsville.
