Imagine if Vader secretly behind the emperor's back made upgrades to his suit that where actually healing/rebuilding his deformed injuries/limps. Vader actually does know how to use force lighting but doesn't use it because of the stipulation added by the Emperor in his suit, so he waits until he is fully healed and doesn't need the suit anymore! Vader also has been planning a surprise ambush attack with certain storm troopers who he knows are only loyal to him, so he can overthrow the Sidious.
Is he not using lightening because of his artificial parts?

Healing himself would betray his 'secret ambush' as he uses the constant pain from his injuries to fuel his connection to the dark side, so sidious would begin to question him if he ever noticed Vader's drop in power...
I think you don't understand that there are wounds that simply cannot be healed... Do you still have wisdom teeth? Pull them. See how long it takes to heal and have them again.
One of the coolest things I have heard Vader do was when he asked tarkin to hunt him and tarkin was in a very quiet area with some species that had enhanced hearing and tarkin felt safe thinking that they would hear Vader breathing, but Vader turned off his respirator and basically is dieing during the time and tarkin only figered this out when he realized that most of the hearing enhanced beings where gone with no trace. I

This example right here is what makes me believe that Vader was very powerful however he was mentally broken.. It made him very weak .

@@stardust1621 if Anakin had that he might never have become sith to begin with though. I imagine he would've been able to tell Sidius was manipulating him and trying to pull him to the dark side. But he most likely wouldn't have stayed a jedi either but ended up finding his own way of the force.
Shit, maybe he would've actually brought balance like he was prophesized to, by showing the Jedi how to wield your emotions to become stronger in the force without being corrupted by the dark side.

It seems strange that a suit control system using the tongue was used when it should be easy to have the suit controlled using verbal commands. Some modern fighters, the French Rafael, has that feature.
I think his vocal cords were too burned.
His rage, pain, and hatred has made very powerful. Even with the suit's setbacks.

Wasn't the the hand that Luke severed in ROTJ Vader's right hand? I guess his right glove wasn't as impervious as Vader thought.
EDIT - I just watched a clip of the final fight between Vader & Luke and confirmed that yes, it was Vader's right hand that he chopped off.

The bad suit from 2 is closer to Vader look, and some suit you get from one of the dlc. I always loved the bad suit from 1 but the helmet always felt weird
Getting around the 1970’s buttons is the hardest suspension of disbelief one I struggle with. 😂 no matter the reason, it looks silly in modern times. Still the coolest outfit and villain of all time practically. As a kid I wanted the helmet so bad but they were always so expensive back in the 80’s/early 90’s. Since you’re subbed to this channel, you’ve all probably heard the physical actors voice and lines before he was dubbed over but if you haven’t, don’t do it! You can’t unhear it. 😅
Despite the armor's tech was obsolete, it was a Sith alchemy project and the only thing which could keep in alive out of a bacta tank. The extremely painfull adaptation to the suit and its limitations only kept him more connected to the dark side, forcing him to focus and use the force constantly, which made him a lot more strong with the force. In a way, the pain and limitations of the suit only made his anger, rage and focus turn him into a better Sith. Plus he was one of the best swordsman in the galaxy, so adapting his combat style with the lightsaber to a low paced combat resorting to manipulating the environment around him with the force was quite easy and instictive for him.
Even though the suit brough so many fisical limitations, it made him become a lot more strong with the force in the early days of the Empire embracing his emotions and connecting with the dark side.
Not just one of arguably the best count dooku skill wise could have bested yoda and even windu it’s the fact he never committed fully to the darkside that held him back and anakin beat him 1v1 I would never bet against Vader in a duel how many have even lived to fight him twice
I think he should upgraded his suit not saying to take away the pain but maybe upgrading it so he went weak to force lightning and some quality upgrades. Like some of the downgrades to his suits and his no it wanting to fix them because of his hatred are kinda stupid. Yes keep that constant pain but some of his things could of been made better

1. Caused rage brain
2. Made Vader feel like a piece of sh*t
3. By making him TALLER, a not so subtle hint to make sure you HAVE THE HIGH GROUND at ALL TIMES.
4. Everyone knows it's YOU and that you are roughly a QUARTER MILE from surprising them.
5. As long as you stay behind Vader, he has peripheral vision, and apparently, no BACK UP CAMERA.
6. Control panel placement made switching to disco helicopter powerf*ck mode very cumbersome.
7. Good luck having a drink 🤣🤣🤣
8. Intermittently plays a Muzak version of Enter Sandman with little to no warning.
9. Everything is echoey and muffled so you appear stoic, reserved, and menacing when your sweating so bad there's a river run down your asscrack, you really can't hear what the f*ck Palpatine's droning on about now, and you honestly just want to hang out in your bacta tank like the sad, pathetic, no legged, one armed freak you truly are.
10. Everytime you initially wake up you are painfully reminded that you have no legs, no penis, and your bladder is a catheter bag... that leaks, because Uncle Palpy is a cheap dick...

i didn't know about the amulet making his glove indestructible, that's pretty cool. especially with it becoming a relic afterwards.

The amulet is the part that surprises me the most. While it might have been an invention from later, it does actually make sense that palpatine would add at least a few other-worldly enhancements to vaders armor. As for why much of the suit was never upgraded, palpatine needed to keep invader well and truly under control. That's why it never featured many self repair Elements, and also why his tie starfighter had such a low hyperspace speed.

Isn’t there also needles/wires on the back neck piece that insert directly to the spinal cord that way his limbs move like normal limbs and his eyes can see exactly what the eye lenses see??
I mean... it COULD also be that Lucas thought this costume looked cool, and retconed things.... I mean tool belts were standard on comic book characters back then.... he made Vader look scarey, sound scarey, and be very mysterious, then had to figure out the why and how after. I like that story better
McQuarrie originally thought of the suit as a way for him to transverse open space when boarding ships and Lucas went with it.
The glove caught me off guard… but I knew almost every other part mentioned. Although I was not sure, the hud didn’t surprise me lol.

IT'S UNFAIR
While I am aware that the "Force Lightning" vulnerability is considered "law of the land" ... I really, really feel to see why? Wouldn't it have been easy enough for him to cancel that out?
In the prequels we see numerous times how Jedi - for example Obi Wan - counter Force Lightning relatively effortless by using their lightsaber. And at least one (Mace Windu) did Anakin/Vader observe that himself close up.
Now, here's the catch: By the time Obi Wan faced Dooku, he cannot possibly be ever before have been confronted with Force Lightning because the Sith were basically thought to had been extinct. Still, he can counter it (and using a lightsaber as a tool makes perfect sense).
Anakin/ Vader was the Chosen One, able to quickly learn Force powers by just observing. And he observed Mace withstanding Palpatine.
Hence, it doesn't any make sense to assume that Vader couldn't in a duell just use this to protect himself long enough to make his much stronger physicality count for.

I always wondered why palpatine didn’t just take anakin’s genetic template and clone him. Then he could use essence transfer to transfer Anakin’s mind to a new healthy clone body instead of confine him to that suit.
Only sith can transfer user's conscience into others throught the force.

largely headcanon, but I kinda feel like Jedi and Sith project an aura of sorts through the force (which is what's being sensed by eachother) that essentially means more minute manipulations like that just won't work. it also explains why it takes considerable effort to force push, or pull a jedi or sith around even if they don't know it's coming.

If Vader’s gloves had Beskar weave to protect his hands from light saber damage, how was it cut off by Luke in RTOJ?

Beskar weave is lightsaber resistant. Not lightsaber proof. There's a difference. Just means it's harder to cut through, meaning a glancing blow wouldn't do the trick. But Luke was strong and also probably chopped down with force enhanced strength and cleaved straight through.

I never got the scared to upgrade part. The force has been shown to sustain life of of pure hatred so you would just have to up grade him with no pain killers after someone mad him mad .
Vader was so badly injured in the first place that Palpatine couldn't risk it since just putting him in this monstrosity of a suit took days.
Not necessarily scared, but the suit was built with ancient sith alchemy, you didn't had many of those around the galaxy. The suit made him more connected to the dark side more than an upgraded suit could. Therefore keeping the fisical limitations in a way was what made him a better Sith.
Now I can't stop thinking about Vader doing ''mlem'' to activate something XD

Was the information about his environment in Offline or Online-Mode in case things changes? If Online, did he use 4G-Signals or 5G, considering 5G drains more battery? Did he play Flappy-Bird or Super-Mario on his dual-layer eye-protection glasses? Is his "Always-On-Lightsaber" in working condition for sum relaxing private-time? If not, could The-Emperor possibly add an Expansion to Vader's-Suit, bringing Vader-JR back to life? If yes, will he be able to get machine-human kids? (Uh... Forget the timeframes mentioned lol it's a lot of then & now, just focus on the actual questions instead!)

I never liked the idea that Vaders suit was old or of poor construction, it never really sat with the character that always was tinkering or changing things. I do like that the disney films show that he can take it off, in a way taking away the poor construction idea. Money didnt mean anything to the Empire, the Deathstars prove that so whats it to them making Vaders suit the best it can be.

Question regarding the helmet. Now in ROTS, it's a three piece(face, helmet ,neck).
Obi wan it's a two piece(neck, Helmet/face.).
Then Empire it's back the Obi Wan.
While ROTJ it's back to the ROTS one.
Was that a newer helmet altogether?

About the amulet on his right hand, I think it is wrong. There is a scene in Roge One where he can reflect a blast with his left hand, using the force.
Uhhhh pretty sure taking off his mask is what contributed to killing. Yes the lightning did severe damage but tasking the helmet off accelerated his death because he wanted to look at Luke with his own eyes
I will never see vader the same knowing to command his suit he sometimes has to stick his tongue out, imagine the hallway scene in rouge 1 but he has his tongue out the whole slaughter

What was the first public appearance of Vader in suit?
We know that Anakin had to be removed from the suit in order for his dead skin to be debrided from his ruined body on a regular basis. We also have seen Anakin in a bacta tank, minus his suit. I suggest that removal from the suit was not a possible life ending event as you suggest in this video.

I think the only reason Vader was able to thrive in his suit and cybernetics was due to his immense power in the Force. Each day was an exercise in misery and frustration for him, yet, he presses on without grumbling. Any being of lesser power would've perished under the same conditions.
I've always wondered if Vader could've cloned new organs/limbs to replace all the damaged parts of his body...

I think it was elaborated in a book once that clones and cloned body parts degrade faster so Vader deemed the idea a waste of time and resources as he would be required to constantly get new replacements put in when the old ones started going bad.

How did DV maintain his balance in the suit from falling down?
I actually have a theory why palpatine went to the trouble of adding the amulet to that gloved hand. Remember that so little of Anakin remained, It was imperative to keep as much of the former sith as possible so his force powers could remain intact. Losing his apprentice's still-human hand was the last thing palpatine wanted, so he was gonna make damn sure that didn't happen!
Both his hands were already gone. Dooku cut off one of them in AotC, and Obi Wan cut off the other one plus his legs in RotS. Watch RotS when he's trying to climb back up the lava bank after he burns. He's using one single robo arm. He probably did it so that if Vader was using his saber in that hand, it would make it that much harder to actually disarm him of his weapon.

Come to think of it in a universe where cloning is a commmon thing it shouldnt be that hard him to make clone parts of himself. New legs,hands and every damaged bodypart could be replaced and cause it is a clone it would be 100% match without his body rejecting it he could have been good as new in notime🤔
