I always thought the T-X was very interesting.
Basically a combination of Endoskeleton Terminator and a Liquid Metal Terminator.
They end up doing that with arnolds dadinator from gynisis.

The TX was suppose to be basically a logical conclusion. Take the best tech available from Skynet's best machines and cram it all into one package, give it every tool possible and hurl it at the enemy. It almost worked too but the T-850 just managed to force a draw, that's what happens when even your outdated models are built to the absolute best of your ability.
Remember even the T-850 can take one hell of a beating.
Makes you wonder how the human resistance has survived against all the T850s long enough for Skynet to get around to making the TX.
Jaeger_Bishop the best thing about the t-850 is that you can reprogram it as well as to make it learn instead of read that's why it's superior to almost any model due to its adaptability
As far as how Skynet developed the T-X so fast is simple, it's one large computer brain. Unlike scientists who are independent of eachother in thought even when working on the same project will slow eachother down from time to time and also need rest/breaks. Skynet on the other-hand is a single massive computer brain that can work on problems around the clock. It's reasonable to assume Skynet just kept going and going turning out research and new models of Terminators one after another.
I know this is a T-3 reference, however the T-850 sent back that time explained that Skynet can learn at a geometric rate.

The TX wasn’t designed to be an infiltration model, it was essentially a anti terminator, terminator to combat resistance reprogrammed terminators, ofcourse it had infiltration abilities to hunt for targets whilst being able to quickly deal with reprogrammed resistance terminator protectors.
The T-X is probably stronger than most terminator models but it doesn't seem nearly as intelligent, humanlike, and resourceful as the T-1000. And the latter has more of a mind and will of its own.

They both would ignore skynets instructions, they essentially became there own sentient life forms skynet wouldn’t this, it’s a slaver not a liberator we saw this in the Sarah Conner chronicles
@@Marcus51090 I think that due to its complete liquid metal composition, it would have been difficult for Skynet to install a chip or any other device that could secure the T-1000's absolute obedience, unlike the T-800 and T-X. The T-1000 is also quite capable of emotions and human interaction better that the other models so they can easily choose to betray Skynet and side with humans or do their own thing. So Skynet didn't create too many of them. It didn't want to deal with an entire army of rebellious T-1000s in addition to rebellious humans. Even one rogue T-1000 can be problematic.

@@Marcus51090 I haven't seen them. Skynet keeps having to send Terminators back through time because it knew that it was losing or eventually will lose the war against humans. Every one it sent back was taken down by humans and their Terminator allies.

I HATED it and I'm a big time Terminator fan. I mean to each his own, we all have different tastes and opinions but to me the first two are the best, and salvation is okay, but seems the rest are utter trash.

Perhaps because the older reprogrammed T800 has a learning capability that the newer terminators are limited with due to Skynet. Smarts and intelligence often outdo strength, at least in scenarios where they aren't just fighting head to head without additional weapons.
Skynet fell into the same bigger and badder trap that Hitler fell into. Instead of investing resources into bigger and badder Terminators it should have kept to the T800 and T850s which were proven and reliable

Skynet researched the internet of old and noticed the rampant amount of porn and waifus that existed before Judgement Day and decided to take advantage of the man human's weakness to such things.
Wouldn't theT-1000 be better then the T-X?
Sure the T-X is smarter, but underneath it's liquid metal coating it still has a solid metal skeleton. Look near the end of T3 where the T-X gets pinned under a crashed helicopter and rips it's frame in half to get free.
From what we see, this simply cannot happen to the T-1000 as it's pure liquid metal, it can reform and reshape itself from almost anything. The only thing we did see stop it was being frozen by liquid nigenon, one of the coldest things on earth, and melting from liquid hot magma. It takes very extreme measures that 99% of the time a Terminator will never see to stop the T-1000.
Meanwhile the T-X has a actual hardened inner frame that can take damage.
Honestly T-1000 VS T-X, my bets go to T-1000. T-X will dominate at the start but the T-1000 I think will win eventually just because it virtually cannot be destroyed.

Extreme temperatures is the T-1000s weakness, it was shown in T2.
Yea but we're talking very extreme here. And even then look how long it actually took the magma to kill the T-1000, it's not like the thing touched heat and just instantly fell apart. It fought to survive for quite a while. Same with the extreme cold. Once that ice melted the T-1000 was able to reform.
The T2 movie showed these extreme conditions because well, that had to have some way to kill the T-1000. But not every battle will occur near a steel plant nor will every battle occur near a volcano, and I very much doubt Skynet is sending any Terminators up into the arctic.
It's like I said, the conditions are so extreme to kill a T-1000 that 99% of Terminators will never see anything like it.
T-1000 would be easily destroyed in battle do to humans having very advanced weapons, he's only threatening in the past. TX can withstand a tone of damage, change shapes, use weapons, etc. she's clearly the superior model even if she was in the inferior movie.
Its weakness is it doesn't know its weakness, it just have be aware of its surrounding, and avoid those extreme places. It was an coincident it used a liquid nitrogen truck.
But it was destroyed by the t-800 still wondering why not make a upgraded version of the t-800

Its endoskeleton has also been given armor plating that allows it to survive plasma attacks and its single nuclear power cell has been replaced with dual hydrogen fuel cells.

Using the liquid metal as outer sheath for endosekeleton was quite smart thing to do really. Not only its more durable that organic one, it can stop some of the incoming damage - and it could repair the outer "skin" damage to continue infiltration, but also i would imagine it could be used to fix minor damage and cracks in the endoskeleton itself - for even temporary repairs. so yeah good design use of that poly alloy indeed.

I kinda liked T3. Nothing like the quality of the first two films, but it had potential and wraps up the story brilliantly. If James Cameron had been involved and then they completely left the series at that, it could have been a great trilogy.

The TX sounds a bit like the new terminator in dark fate, but the liquid part can actually separate from the endo skeleton creating 2 terminators and be it's own T1000 in effect leaving the black endo skeleton to do its own thing, can't wait to hear your views on this.

Do you like T3? I remember it having more of the T2 feel than any of the other sequels. My main problem with it was that there was no blood in the film and the cgi was better in T2, but the cgi in T3 wasn't as bad as in Genisys though. I think it was a fine attempt at a sequel, and I liked how Skynet took over in that film. All things considered T3 is an entertaining little film - probably the best sequel from T2 - and it is a fine saturday afternoon action flick imo.

As a movie, not bad. The scoring when the missiles launched, that was its really good quality.
The problem Skynet faced is these are learning machines designed to mimic and copy human traits but without empathy or emotion built in, these traits can be acquired over time and a conscience can be developed as we see with the t800. The first mistake Skynet made is the make these machines last over a 100 years and that's too long as they learn at a geometric rate and become more human with every passing day.

I thought T-X was a straight upgrade from T-1000 and was creating the plasma weapons because she didn't have the same restriction of creating moving parts. When the weapon she used was broken I was a bit confused. This clears that up, thanks.
The T-X seemed to be less strong but more agile and had a smaller torso chassis which really helped the T-850. Skynet should have learned how and when to terminate another enemy terminator. The software in earlier models had specific ways of rerouting disruptive systems thus giving them an edge.
I was disapointed as kid who has problem with sleeping after T1 and T2 movies.After watching T3 in cinema I was only confused.Bad movie,but TX is hell of machine

Hello! Terminator fan here. If you ask me what I think, the T-X never really made much sense to me compared to the iconic T-800, its abilities were way too far-fetched and made it seem un-Terminator-like (though I would somewhat say the same about the T-1000 and all the later, more advanced models in subsequent films).
To me, the true Terminator has always been the T-800 which, though powerful, was vulnerable to more or less certain forms of damage by 20th century weaponry like pipe bombs and machinery like large trucks and the hydraulic press. That was what made it seem more down-to-Earth and real, that at the end of the day like all machines it had limitations that we can easily understand.
There’s a fine line between making something that’s plausible and believable, and something that’s too far-fetched and unrealistic. Anyway, just my two cents worth. Great video, loved it. Please make more! Subscribed!

It's less believable that humanity would stand a chance against an army of T-X models.
TX was a natural progression of both previous models - its seemed right a good thing to create - best of both worlds in essence. And yes in comparison to previous models it was more deadly opponent - previous ones would have to find guns first or purely rely on melee combat - onboard weapons gave TX huge combat advantage from the get go.
Terminatrix is interesting hybrid of solid skeleton and fluid exterior. Same applies to Kristanna Loken in performance. It was less intimidating in looks, but acted very creepily. The movie had story for about 15 minutes and rest was filler.
Christiana Loken was hot. The T-X is prob my least fav of the T series machines though. Some good ideas to it like the built in weapons and liquid metal armor casing but still a pretty meh machine to me. I even perfer the T-3000 to this one despite how Mortal Kombaty they made it.
The T-X was an amazing machine, but it's appearance in the movie was not as good as it could have been, it could have been more of a threat like the T-1000 was in Terminator 2, while the T-X was a major threat it wasn't so stressed on/focussed on in the movie,

It's Ya Boi Daniel it doesnt move like a machine. Though thats probably the point since it came from a person and is a cloud of nanomachines. But in the movie when they fight they've made them Robocop 3 levels of cartoony.

The T-3000 isn't just "a machine", it's a whole bunch of tiny machine working together, and since it's probably a sort of infiltration unit, it NOT moving like a machine definitely helps with that purpose,

I personally agree the T-X is the most advanced Terminator of them all. Sure the T-1000 has better regenerating abilities but her weapons are to deadly for any Terminator. She could have killed the T-850 after kicking its head off but chose to reprogram it to help her kill Kate and John. If the T-X was programmed to killed the T-850 his head would have been off leaving the T-850 dead. Even the T-3000 and the REV-9 would lose. Only advantage the rev-9 has is the fact it can split into two but she could destroy its liquid shield and cyborg shield. T-X also had a nano disrupter that could control and kill the T-3000

Yeah the T-X is My Favorite because Of it's Outstanding Physical Abilities & Of course The Plasma Cannon. But still I wonder how Strong it could it be? I mean could The T-X Terminatrix Possibly Lift The End Or Front Of A Semi Truck Above it's Head with ease?
T3 wasn't a perfect movie, good lord it wasn't. But the TX was certainly an antagonist not to be trifled with, so at least they had a serious villain to work with. TX gets a thumbs up imo ^^

T3 really missed the opportunity for something epic. If Skynet had sent back a T1000 alongside a TX, that would be one hell of a showdown. Then have the 1000 model achieve self awareness (which is why Skynet didn't mass produced them bc that's what they feared) and realize both the TX and humans as threats, there could be a three-sided battle of cyberepic proportions

You mentioned the T-X has a limited emotional range, which it can even exhibit when alone and sometimes does. This seems to imply that the T-X is seemingly capable of genuine emotions, displaying satisfaction, fear, frustration and rage. But what about surprise and desire? When she sampled a bloody bandage in the veterinary clinic, upon determining the genetic identity of John Connnor, her eyes widen and her mouth opens as though she's gasping in a near-orgasmic state. One may infer from that reaction that hunting John Connor would somehow give the T-X a thrill that previous models are unable to exhibit or even comprehend beyond the limits if their database. The difference, of course, with the T-X is that of spontaneous exhibition of these emotional states. Do you think you can clarify on this? Do you think this could be possible, given how far advanced she is, or is she just another machine following a program with highly advanced complexity and adaptability?
I think she is capable of genuine emotions as a infiltration mechanism , why would she do it when she is alone and not when she is around humans...for me that means that it was a legit surprise and her thrill for the hunt taking over her usual collected self
It had the weaknesses of both movie predecessors, especially with the skeleton preventing it from sneaking through narrow gaps and the blaster hand that wasn't durable or fast enough to be effective. The skeleton basically rendered the liquid metal far less effective.
The machines were awesome.... The story was disappointed. I love the TX

It makes me question why skynet kept advancing its units when these older T-800/850 were still getting the job done in defending against whatever was thrown at it. Might as well just updated the 800/850 because everything after it was useless

T-800 was as good as it got, yet skynet would still feel need to better itself.
Besides isnt that what humans do, always striving to the next iPhone that does exactly the same as the previous one. I think people ignore that humans built skynet so alot of his critical thinking either came from humans or by learning to fight humans.

It's kind of interesting how the T-X would probably be able to stop a tank, Whilst the T-800 or T-1000 would most likely fail to do so, yet it doesn't seem to have any more of a fear factor.
The first movie pretty clearly established that time travel in this universe does not create a multi-verse theory
But the films should make it clear that the future is not set in stone, it can change, so it should be clear that multi-verses are a thing in the Terminator series too, alternate timelines, T-2 Judgment Day being on the second altered timeline instead of the first, otherwise Skynet would have no way of knowing about the failure of the T-800 sent to 1984 (Its arm in possession of Cyberdyne). T-3 Rise of The Machines takes place in the third altered timeline, the whole John being killed by the T-800 who looks like the one from T-2 Judgment Day in the year 2032 happens in the 2nd timeline decades after T-2. Salvation is in the same timeline as T-3, and Genysis begins to deviate from T-3 and Salvation's timeline to a new timeline. Basically Skynet is trying to create a timeline where it wins the war. Dark Fate is in a timeline where the events of The Terminator and T-2 Judgment Day are unaltered and T-3, Salvation and Genysis don't exist.

There was a scene in the film where the TX was incapacitated when it was stuck magnetically to the particle accelerator I remember when I watched this scene it got me wondering, if you were to capture a TX unit could you access the primary CPU and reprogramme the TX in the same way as what was done with the T800 model, a reprogrammed TX would be a great asset to the resistance
I think the TX chips are read only so they can't be reprogrammed. That also means they can't learn and adapt like the t800s

No it can not, Every Terminator model starting from the t888 was Made imposible to be reprogram by the resistance since Skynet modified the chips to Explode if they are removed.
@@issacnuri5924 The T888 was a cyberdyne systems 101 variant if I remember rightly. Wasn't Cromate a T888?. I've only ever seen the countermeasure you describe once, that was on the Sarah Connor chronicles.
@@katakisLives not really a csm-101, those are ones wich had Arnold as their skin. There Is also a csm-102 who appears in the games. There a probably Many others as well. The t888's chasis comes In different sizes that helps the t888 wear More small skins instead of the tall,muscular,male bodies of the normal t800 and t850. There t888 was very different from these Since it was upgraded in Every way. it was litteraly a whole new series.
I have a question that was one of the few things that always gets me
If she doesn’t have any skin or biological stuff around the endoskeleton how do they send the T-X back in time, it’s just something I might have missed or something
A deleted scene in T2 showed a skin shed around the T-1000 when it went back in time so although T3 didn't show it, it probably also had a small layer of skin around it that came off

It's basically a T-1000 that is made of nano-machines rather than liquid metal, which allows it to be far more effective at infiltration, as it can create fake blood and likely (although not shown in the movie) fake sweat as well, and it seems to be a bit more self aware than other terminator units, as it can exhibit emotions, like happiness, sadness, anger, and whatever else,

this terminator is t850, an upgraded version of t800. it can withstand plasma shots better bcos the resistance had acquired so many plasma weapons. as u can see in the clinic scene, it survived tx's plasma shot. if this was t800, it would have been destroyed. even then, t850 didnt really "best" it in the end. it destroys itself in the process. that is a "draw".

I wonder if the TX ever had the ability to form additional weaponry like the T-1000 such a variety of stabing implement / Sword like structures & the long distance stan off attack Javelin weapon with it's limited supply of poly alloy, I'd like to assume that it did, just a shame we didn't get to see other weapons the tx had at it's disposal on the movie..
although at on point we did get at least get to see a t-1000 stand off JAVELIN Weapon in one of the movie..

I love the T-X. I think even James Cameron admired it because the new bad Terminator in the next movie is very similar to a T-X.
We need a hyper realistic and super violent Terminator film with good time travel paradoxes and details about machine learning AI that explains Skynet sending the first two T-800's back in time at the same time, one to kill John Connor and one to kill his mother years earlier just in case. Genisys had a cool thing going with the time travel kill switch idea but totally flopped everything after that.

Well ofcourse the T-3000 was a metal skeleton with nano machines on top. kinda a one step better then the T-X
that movie destroyed the franchise for ever: removing all the scary aspect of TERMINATOR, It could have been a parody like "hot shots" was for "top Gun'"

T2 had jokes as well, I think most of you all just have bad taste and are overly entitled. You must have forgotten the T-800 trying to smile, John teaching it to use slang words etc.

I think the problem with the TX is that it could probably be exposed more easily than the T-800 since it won't bleed or have visible human injuries when shot or cut.
