Who else is watching this again, after the sad death of Bruce Guthro, who recently died aged only 62yrs old? It has been such a shock to us all, may he sing with the angels.

I only recently found out about Bruce's passing and was very saddened by this as he helped keep Runrig alive after Donnie left. Many wonderful years listening to them, their music really reached a part of my soul as an Australian with Scottish roots, I can't explain it but it feels like they helped fill in a gap in myself that is perhaps my Scottish heritage. RIP Bruce and thank you Runrig for all the years ❣

We have a tradition in the car each summer when we visit the Highlands. Stick Runrig on when we’ve nearly made it to the holiday cottage! Blast out our favourite tracks as we drive through Glencoe.

I just discovered them a little to late as I’m writing this and browsing the internet. I now they retired in 2018 and lead singer passed away but I love their music. I will have to purchase there music from now on. I’m American and have always loved the Scottish people but someday in my older age I will visit your country and never leave !

I was at their last gig, right at the very front. I cried after the gig. And I wasn't alone. It's a miracle Stirling didn't flood.
I remember Iain Bayne when he was a 16 year old working at the record shop in St Andrews on a Saturday when I was a student there. I bought a lot of records off him.

They are elderly gentleman now .Apart from Brian and Bruce, who is still performing. I did see an interview where Calum was saying they would Consider coming back, for 20minutes! For the Right festival or Benefit! Shut up Callum! It would take longer to set up the equipment Stop being Divas Iam actually glad they stopped when they did. I don't really want to see geriatrics such as the Stones and Fleetwood Mac dragging their tired old carcasses out time and again to milk the cash cow one more time. Life moves on. We will always have the music.. And in the meantime we have necowmers to enjoy.

I'm an American, and I live in Ohio. In December of 1996, my sister returned from a semester of study in Aberdeen. With her, she brought back the Runrig CDs: Mara, Amazing Things and The Big Wheel. I've been a fan of Runrig's music ever since. I saw them in concert in June 1999 at the Eden Court Theatre in Inverness on the 'In Search of Angels' tour, and again at the concert in New York City, two of the best concerts I have ever been to. In this video, Bruce said, "Runrig will cease to exist.". I disagree, I say Runrig will live forever.
