akashsky118 Agree. He goes above and beyond in his reviews. I almost feel like I'm the one exploring the vehicle. Torn between a CLA, C class and E class. I want that sporty, elegant look with all the luxuries Mercedes is known for.
I'm driving a CLA aswell and wednesday I'll be getting the new E-class. After doing a 3 hour test drive, I am totally in love with the E-class.
Although I love my CLA, the E-class is just way better in comfort, luxury and (interior) design.
If you can afford the E-class, go for it and you won't regret it. Otherwise, I would go for the C-class.

Quietly hypnotizing, very thorough and informative Thomas has an excellent eye for all details design and mechanical. It looks great on video but it looks even more stunning in real life! A dark blue one I saw a couple of days ago is still burnt on my retina. In my personal opinion, a great piece of German top-notch engineering that looks perfect from all angles. And the interior is just heavenly (in particular with the saddle brown leather interior and black open pores wood trim). Thank you for your great reviews as always mr. Autogefühl, I love watching them!
:) Just remember to refrain from the leather m8 =) But Mercedes luckily has plenty of different options.
Thank you for your reply. I agree, in my opinion Mercedes' fake artico leather a really great option as well. My W204 C180 used to have it. Was very easy to maintain and didn't show a single sign of wear after 4 years - in contrast to real leather where after a couple of years you can clearly see some wear. My only frustration as far as Artico is concerned, is that it is often only offered in black or grey and I prefer something else such as brown or beige. However, with the new E-class you can get get brown fabric seats as well and it looks fantastic! Have a nice day :D

Love the fact that it doesn't have a B-pillar. I would love to see more of that green colour! I think that combined with the brown interior and dark wood (like in the center console), it would look great! Keep up the good work Thomas!

I too as well think this E class coupe is the most beautiful 2 door I've seen in recent years! The V-6 combined with the 9-speed and 4-matic gives it the all weather practically I find most appealing!
Got mine coming in March Thomas . Went for 220 4matic. Awesome review best on CZcams Thomas.

PS - Maybe launch shorter versions of all videos you do? That way we can get done with less interesting cars in 10 minutes or so (read: most non-german/european cars)

I've left Audi and have returned to Mercedes. I'm in love with these cars. They are very Sharp to drive and luxurious at the same time. Mercedes have put a lot into their coupe designs as of late displaying what I call 'elegant yet aggressive' . It could be perceived as contradiction in terms but it works and the C,E,S,GLC, etc are beautiful as a result. A Great review.

Great work, being one off the first with the Coupé. Here in Sweden there is Smaragdgrun color as option, a classic color who I like. I always liked E-class models and the coupé its my first choice.

In a 40 minute video I was thinking I'd see at least the one thing that makes this car amazing, the light design! I'd have liked to see the front and rear lights turned on in close-up. Other than that, great video once again, keep up the good work!

I have the 2013 AMG e coupe. Nice review. I noticed two cost cutting items I didn’t like. The door jamb has some cheap looking cover rather than a metal plate. 10:15 mark. That looks terrible. And those fake muffler vents.
Matte white with the black trim is my favorite!
I do think MB has finally made a proper coupe! I love the green coupe with a saddle tan interior! I still revere the old style of the Palomino tan interior of the 1980s MBZ! Make mine Green w/brown/tan interior with a walnut wood trim. I still love that look!
I have a question. With frameless windows, if your battery is dead, will the windows still go down when you open the doors?

Can you tell what is the fuel consumption city, 110, 130, 160, 180, and so on if it's posible?
They all do look the same minus some minor interior differences. With that said, this car is still outright gorgeous. With them looking almost identical, I wouldn't have a hard time going for the cheapest one without having any doubts on my decision. It hurts me to my stomach that I don't have the money to get something like this after all of my hard work I've being doing throughout my life. I guess that tells me I am doing something wrong. Going back to school for computer engineering. :)
I've just ordered my E400 with every single 'add on' possible. Delivery not until mid-September. I am counting he days down. I ordered designo polar white with night pack and 20" wheels. Basically looks the same as the one tested.
