- I can't stop thinking about the DREAMY gown Taylor Swift wears for the evermore portion of the Eras Tour, so I had to make one for myself. Mine is a little different, but it perfectly scratches the itch for me.

The yellow Evermore dress is my favorite from the Eras movie! I somehow managed to get tickets for this year and this is the dress I want to wear. You are the only one I’ve found that has tried to make!!! I’ve looked so many places. Thank you!!! This makes it seem slightly less intimidating. I love the shoulder ruffles! I agree that a belt would look super cute with this. It also seems like Taylor's dress laces up the center front like a corset top, maybe? I don't know if you'd want to tackle that (I always chicken out about the amount of hardware lace-up things take), but it could be cute too.

This is really well done! I wonder what effect you might get if you underwired the cups and boned the bodice - you could do a pair of bones up the front which would make the lacing easy, a couple of bones just at the side of each cup and a few at the back, and it might bully the fabric into sitting where you cut it to sit. I'm SO impressed with the skirt - show me a ruffle and I run.

I love the ruffles, so I vote for more ruffles! Even though there is no seam down the front of the bodice, do you still want to add the corset-like threading from the concert piece?
Also if you think gold embellishments won't work, bronze or copper should work due to the orange hues

Im a newer sewer but I think if you flat line the bodice that might help the fit too. But oh my god this looks so good!!!!!! I definitely think you should add the lil ruffle to the neckline and waist line, it would look so stinking cute!!. Also I saw your "the greatest costume in the great" video then your American girl video and now this one and the whole time I kept thinking "she must be a swifty" cause of the letter board and embroidery hoop behind you then saw this video and knew you were lol. I'm also a swifty! 💜💜💜

When you say poly-blend, do you mean blended with cotton or something else?
Usually that means poly blended with Lycra, possibly Lycra and rayon. If cotton were in it, seamstresses would usually say poly/cotton blend (with Lycra).
thank you so much! a lot of these videos have vocabulary that is really hard to fully understand as a newcomer, and though I try to research what I can, its hard sometimes :( still havent found out how much 4 yards of fabric really is for example, as a lot of sites say the width differs a lot (and im from Germany, so I cant really assume its close enough to the same size in our stores) @@GenXtothe7thPower
