You saved me!!! We have a ‘19 Bounder. I can do most everything on it maintenance wise but I was so worried about working on the vacuflush. Your video was perfect! Sadly, I spent most of my day researching and buying parts to rebuild never finding your business. I will be doing all my head parts ordering from you now on. Great Information Jay. I recently did a rebuild on my 2016 Holiday Rambler. It’s great to see the DYI clip on a Motor Home instead of a Boat. I did purchase my on hand spare parts form you. It worked out very well having spare parts on hand as my bellows went unexpectedly as well as a week later my return spring on my half ball on my commode. I will be contacting you soon to replace my spare parts. Thanks Again, Dave C.
I had to figure out how to replace my broken bellows while quarantined last year, during my first week of jumping head-first into full-time RVing. I did eventually find someone through the internet at a Marine company in Jacksonville, FL that gave me some very helpful hints and tips of what was wrong and what to order... and how I messed up when reinstalling it. Without him I would have been stranded without any hope.
I had to go 6 days without an operational toilet (I got creative with my waste routine/management) while waiting for parts to arrive from that online place you spoke of.
The kits you offer are perfect! I did buy new parts over the last year, for "just in case" this happens again (I still have to check to see if they are donetic), but due to your recommendations, I will be scheduling this for next weekend, as I've just hit my 1 year full-time anniversary. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure... especially when it involves playing in poop.
Right now. I'm looking at replacing my bowl valve seals and that is how I came across this video. THANK YOU for putting this out! A Silicone brush would be perfect for leaning the bowl seal. Please let me know if you find one. Heres an import one from QVC

The 2013 base is different. It looks like Dometic replaced the "funnel" that was prone to crack. Great change. I hate the vacuflush as we have had to replace the seal at least 5 times and the duckbills, etc 4 times. What a mess.
something must be wrong with your system. The funnel should last 10-20 years
We bought our Fleetwood 35B 3 years ago, from a dealership. Unfortunately none of this was even mentioned or discussed. We have a 2014. This vacuflush system has been the bane of my existence ever since we bought this. No regular person should have to take their toilet pumps apart as much as twice a year for "general preventative maintenance"!!! I am a travel nurse, we live in our RV full time. We have had to wholly replace this system twice in three years. It cost me $1700 each time. Most people aren't willing to pay $3400/year for preventative maintenance. If I just had to pay someone to only replace the seals it probably would only cost a few hundred bucks but right now in California in the pandemic, good luck finding someone that "A" knows anything about a vacuflush toilet, and "B" doesn't have months long waiting list for repairs. I can't wait to offload this "money pit". Now for the 3rd time in three years we are using a trusty, inexpensive, simple white freaking 5 gallon bucket for a toilet sitting in front of and taking up all of the space in my bathroom, while my money pit of a toilet lays in wait until I can save up yet more money and sit waiting in an endless line for a repair guy! I see it mentioned above one of the comments says he met the video presenter "in the store/shop" PLEASE tell me where your located.. No retired 60-70 something year old is gonna crawl in whatever hidey hole their freaking manufacturer hid their vacuflush toilet pump in and do this!
Need your help I’ve replaced everything the seals on toilet the flush valve and have done a complete rebuild and motor still will not stop or give a green light. Everything is new but regulator

Thank you so much for this video. Been struggling with this system since I purchased the new coach in 2012. Biggest issue is space. I know if I can get it out I. An do the maintenance but get my big body in is extremely difficult. Can you explain what you mean by ‘dry flush to empty tank”
Flushing without water
I guess I've been lucky with my 2017 Fleetwood. No issues until this weekend. It's now leaking so we stopped using it. I will be calling tomorrow to order the minor rebuild kit. The interesting thing is that it still builds vacuum and shuts off? It's hard to get to and I was embarrassed that it was leaking in th RV park we were just at...

@@aquastardistributors7852 Already ordered from you on Monday and my rebuild kit will be here tomorrow. I removed my pump body today and guess what color bellows I have!?!? The white one and that's what caused my problem, a torn bellows! Hoping to have the kit in time to reassemble tomorrow after work.
I was able to rebuild my vacuum pump a few months ago and my bowl seals today thanks to this video and the parts I purchased from you!! Thank you for making this video and the others that explain how this system works!!
Great Video! I have one question: The position of the DIP TUB LOW PROFILE VG. Is the opening of the this part facing up or down inside the tank? I notice that you don't remove it to complete your demonstration. Thanks

I am camped next to a bounder with a vacuflush. I can hear the sound of pumping outside. It can be annoying. IS this normal. Even the owners of the camper say they are embarrassed of the noise coming from their rig. Is there anything I can suggest to help them out.

What is the process for searching for a vacuum leak ?
My vacuflush works but I never get the green light so I have to manually turn it on and off. What would cause this?
Never had the green light here, either. We turn it on and off manually. Just came to this video to see if I can get answers as we have no idea how to run the vacuflush correctly.
The small blue 3 in one packs sat in the bowl a day and did not break down
Vacuflush pump keeps sucking in water and it trips. Is tank water level to high that is going into the suction of the pump?
You Most Likely need a new bowl seal
@@aquastardistributors7852 checked it out and as suspected, tank was full due to a bad macerator pump and water was going to pump suction. Changed pump and emptied the tank and now everything is fine.
Thanks for the info! What a terrible failure of engineering!!! Maintain twice a year? Remove and replace duckbills once a year? Replace seals once a year? Your engineer should be fired. FIND a a better seal material, reduce that to one part not two, that should not need to be replaced yearly using modern materials. It fails COLD? WHAT? Find a lifetime material for duckbills; it fails at 1,000 flushes a year? Now you are wearing the hoses at the attach points for maintenance they were never designed for; how to replace the worn hoses glued in-place and hidden under the floor? It's impossible to get the tank out of the bay in my Pace Arrow. Now I need to have spare toilet parts on hand to avoid a system failure? No wonder the thing has smelled from day one, the dealer could not correct, three times. Massive engineering FAILURE. Where is the warning sticker or the information in the owners manual of the need for heavy maintenance??? Dealer told me it was a macerator. Why isn't just that?
I have had several customers relocate the vacuum generator. Dometic does call for "Critical Access" for maintenance items. The twice a year for duckbill valves is only a recommendation, we have customers who only change them when they fail.
