Lots of negative poopy pants here, you all must need new potties! Very good info for those of us just learning to sort out the mystery of where our crap is actually going, gonna go look at my pumps just as soon as I, ahem, Vacuflush…

Interesting but it would have been much more helpful to show some illustrations of a complete system and how it works rather than just a bunch of parts on a table with verbal description.

I have a VG4 unit, but I don't know how to generate the vacuum for the first time, how is the procedure and how much water should be added, I can't find a video showing me how to do that.
    Thank you

Why don’t vacuflush dometic make an all in one unit , with a cassette below the toilet

Dometic makes a 7-11M28 in the US market and in Europe from what I understand there is a "case" Style self-contained unite.

My symptoms are intermittently I will hear a pumping sound like a clicking for 3 or 5 seconds. It will happen every 5-10 mins or so. Can you tell me what I need to do? My boat is 2006, Meridian 368.

Most likely it's time to replace the duckbill valves. Would you be able to call our office @ 800.522.4323?

I have a vg4 vacuum generator on my boat and it has a tilted motor I don't know why? But should I change the motor for a horizontal motor or leave it be?

I though that was an actual siren going off

In a VG2 what is the reason you Recomended to upgrade to a horizontal motor, mine still working fine after 16 years, should I upgrade the motor when I change the new bellows?

the old style motors tend to leak oil and grease over time. It is also not uncommon for them to develop a shot. The S-W motor kit is cost effective way to upgrade your VG. It can be purchased here
