The night before, he had gone to a bar with his girlfriend, Karen Read, as well as some friends and acquaintances, including Brian. Not long after, Karen was charged with John's murder, but her defense alleges that she is being framed by the group of people who met up at Brian's home after the bar closed. There is ZERO chance that I (or any reasonable person) could convict within a reasonable doubt at this point. None of the stories match up, so much shady inter-workings and the ridiculous handling of evidence is truly a peek into this clown show of an investigation! And the defense hasn’t even started yet. If this is the prosecutions best evidence/witness’/ case then so far no juror can vote guilty…or the corruption is even deeper than anyone dreamt.
    I really, really really hope that the truth comes out… for the victim, for the actual innocent people and for everyone that loved and cared about John, but most of all for John . Never mind those poor children that have endured an unbelievable amount of loss in their short lives. 😔🙏🏼❤️

You can see his timeline he's showing witnesses and the dog expert is "out of order". My question is was she told this was the time so she arranged her schedule and this is when she was supposed to testify and they are this far behind?!? The red solo cups, leaf blower and the late questioning of the witnesses have tainted the investigation. I wouldn’t be surprised to find that John O’Keefe’s shirt was wrapped in butcher paper, stored in the Pizza Parlour’s fridge next to the ham and bacon bits.

    • @origamikiddo2625
      @origamikiddo2625 Před 16 dny +3

      Right? And if there is kot evidence of where the shirt was swabbed it's like ok. But even if it was in the right spot, and chain of custody was flawless and even not touched by Proctor or Lanke - no dog DNA can mean the shirt was off or sleeves were up when dog bit his arm...wouldn't you swab the arm and submit that too?

    It sounds like the witnesses that testified that they saw the black SUV supports the defense. There was no fighting or screaming and no one was seen getting out of it. At this point, I still have a lot doubt in the prosecution's case and all of the testimony seems to be off along with their evidence and how that was handled.

    The people at the Waterfall were eating loaded potato skins (this came out earlier in trial). My theory is that the pig DNA came from the bacon bits in those potato skins. It could be innocent-someone eating the bacon and then touching John as they were at the bar together. Or it could be from carrying his body out of the house. Either way, this evidence doesn’t do anything to help the prosecution. They really thought they did something by being able to show that there was not dog DNA in the sample, but they actually just made things worse.

      I could see a lot of issues "proving" that. I believe defense's theory is he was there and like immediately went into basement (that's how many others in house didn't see him). And either messing around turned to fighting or intent to fight him and teach a lesson (or Colin did??) happened pretty quickly then then put him outside after everyone left.

The female in the other car said she saw a female driver and a male passenger. She didn’t know them or the people at 34 Fairview. Then both cars stopped at the same address. You with me? John is in that car as his phone and her phone tells us that. That’s coming. Her car data tells us that too. Those 3 people that sat there for a few minutes while the sister walked out to them said they saw no one step outside of that car. Meaning John is still in the passenger. His phone shows he didn’t move at that time. One of Karen’s story’s was she said she dropped him off watched him go inside then sat out front for 10 mins. We know that’s a lie as his phone tells the story and so did 3 people behind that car. The 2 men in the front seat didn’t see a passenger but the driver was driving and the front passenger said he just saw a female as they passed. He didn’t say there couldn’t be a passenger, he said he just saw king hair and a lady with hands at the wheel. They go and drive home. Karen moved metres up twice. Then her car data shows she reversed at high speed minutes later. Then John’s phone which is under his body doesn’t move. So she hit him. Then let him die. Do you understand that.

    There really should be an expert to testify in terms of determining range, accuracy and all features/settings of Life360. Thus far, the prosecution appears to be a little thin on the expert front. The animal DNA expert was impressive, but even her test results are only as good as the samples she was sent. No one needs a reminder of those red Solo cups, the Stop & Shop paper bag and of course that delicate and technical tool...the leaf blower regarding local forensics standards.😉

    I guess Life360 is fairly accurate but it depends on where you are and if you’re in a tower/satellite accessible area. Basically the same as just about every gps on a regular phone. But I doubt it would say that you traveled around without you traveling around. I think the errors would be the exact opposite. Like not pinging your location in a remote area.

      @@lborate3543 I tried, but everything I've found only supports what I presumed about how it works and how that accuracy can be impacted. I still don't have more than a basic understanding of the broad strokes but essentially, everything adds up to- modern cellular GPS is highly accurate, around 99%. This accuracy can be negatively impacted by things that interfere with satellite transmission like buildings and bad weather. However, the accuracy is also bolstered by wi-fi and tower connections. So as I said, the speed being slightly off, the time being slightly off, even the location being slightly off- as in showing the address next door instead of the address you're actually in, etc.- are possible but I haven't seen anything that explains how it made up entire sections of travel which she denies. Or maybe I'm just misunderstanding something. This case is frying my brain. 😅

    Let's get one thing straight, pretty much everyone at 34 Fair View on January 28-29 was likely very drunk. All of this talk of whether this person or that person was drunk just seems silly to me. Julie Nagel was probably one of the most drunk people there as she had been drinking for about 6-7 hours by the end of the night and she couldn't even keep a straight face when asked about her intoxication level by Yanetti on cross. She was obviously hammered that night. The only person who might not have been drunk that night would've been Matt McCabe. These people are clearly alcoholics who like to get drunk. I'm not judging them for that; I was a wicked bad alcoholic myself for about 15 years and I know that people who like to get drunk like to be around other people who also like to get drunk and people who don't like to get drunk, tend to avoid drunk people.
    That being said, some people like to get more drunk than others and it is possible that Matt McCabe either didn't drink at all or limited his consumption and stopped drinking early on that night so he could be the designated driver. But it doesn't seem like any of these people really cared about drinking and driving despite the fact that they were all either police officers or were in the presence of police officers. I think Karen Read was likely very drunk too, especially based on how small she is and the fact that she may have also been on Xanax which would increase her level of intoxication and explain her amnesia when she woke up and realized John hadn't returned home but she may have also continued drinking by herself when she got back to John's house around 12:45-1:00 am.
    I still don't understand what the Common Wealth is trying to claim happened here though. Karen and John arrive at 34 Fair View and begin to argue, eventually John exits the vehicle presumably to go into the Albert's residence but rather than walking into the house, John just stands on the side of the road (doing God knows what) as Karen pulls away, then Karen suddenly stops the car, slams it into reverse, and accelerates towards John until she hits him and he just stands there the whole time until the SUV plows into him? That's the Common Wealth's theory? I'm sorry but that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Why would John just stand on the side of the road after exiting the vehicle and why wouldn't he move out of the way when he saw it speeding backwards towards him?
    And how in God's name would no one have seen John's body laying on the lawn as they passed by exactly where he was laying? There would've been no fewer than 25 distinct opportunities to see John's body between at least 11 different witnesses and yet not one of them saw anything except Julie Nagel who supposedly saw a black blob but never told anyone about it for months after the incident. Sorry, not buying it. Especially when you combine all of the other weird anomalies and highly suspicious "coincidences". I don't believe John's body was laying on that lawn until sometime after 2:30 am on January 29th, 2022. Something is rotten in Denmark and it's coming from the Albert clique, Canton PD, Mass State Police, and the D.A.'s Office. And I hope and pray we eventually get to the bottom of it.
    God bless.
