    That's a nice fresh and clear approach by scanning the board. If you are doing the video like a tutorial, when measuring stuff always show the meter on screen. It would have been better to remove that burned part and test to see if the short is gone before ending the video. Ending abruptly like that when you know the faulty part is not a good thing to do to your audience. It's also a way to keep moving forward. For example if the short was not gone then you have another fault further down the line and you can keep going for a bit and see if you find anything else.

    Thank you! I need your opinion about this. My Asus laptop functions properly without a battery. However, when I insert the battery, the 19V rail experiences a short circuit (when plugged in to power). I've observed that the laptop operates on battery power without being plugged in.
