- I finally finished the animal room just a few weeks ago. However, I still haven't moved all of the animals into the new space. One of the tanks I had to address was the Blackwater IKEA Riparium. I didn't have proper lighting on that setup since moving it and as a result most of the marginal plant growth didn't flourish. I also felt that I could do something better, so I decided to redo the setup completely. Enjoy!

I'm really excited about this one! So cool to finally be able to do a proper setup that's up and running immediately in the new room. I also think it makes a bigger impact than the original design. What do you think? Let me know and have a great weekend SerpaSquad!
You’re new room USA work of art
this was awesome as always. i love the content related to the build of the new room, but im so glad to see you enjoy the fruit of all that labor. i hope it was enjoyable getting to know your new space in this way.
Very proud of you. You inspired me to make my first terrarium and I'm working on a paludarium now. Looking forward to more scape content!
Your work is amazing. This is exactly what I want to do eventually for my tetras. Could you give more info on the plants you use? Thanks!!
Do African cichlids
Wow, it's amazing how much bigger this makes the tank look than the previous design. Amazing work as always! :)
I like this redesign even more than the original scape - this is really beautiful.
Your creations showcase a snapshot into the artistic nature of nature itself. You show how life itself is art.
This is such a good way to put it
The way the light shines through! Looks like a cross section of the Amazon! Great job as usual Tanner
I love you Tanner. I love your eco systems and I love all of your work!
Your pretty amazing. So well done on getting to a point of resting. Rest up... your critters need you!
Some of the luckiest fish on Earth! Wonderful natural design!
The peaceful section at the end could be a one-hour video and I'd watch all of it! It is so cool and calming to see the fish and especially the fog!
That last shot with just the overhead lighting is spectacular and I bet satisfying for you. Great job!
I followed you when you where as small as my channel. And I was like "What?! "This guy is Amazing" where are the subs? Like 2 months later you exploded! So well deserved. Not just talent, but determination , DIY and keeping coming with better videos. So we'll deserved. And even though I never met you. I am 100% sure yiu are genuine. Humble...
The creativity you showcase in each of your videos is always so inspiring!
The first official scape in the animal room and it is absolutely stUNNing!
Very cool! I'm excited to see how the Alocasia does in the aquarium!
Video starts and you are immediately greeted with Tanner running at you to take your life.
Excited for your upcoming projects as well as updates!! Especially the toilet tank haha
I can't wait for the toilet tank either lol I wanna see what Tanner decides he wants to look at while doin paperwork lol
Lottery winning fish right there. Absolutely love this one. Great job.
The mist ambiance is extraordinary.
I love the green under the water, it makes the whole setup pop
Somebody is rocking it, who's rocking it? Tanner is rocking it!!
This tank is stunning!!!!!! What a lucky group of fish. I think this tank looks better than the original.
You're so talented, I love watching your builds come together in the end.
This will probably always be my favorite kind of aquarium. They just always look so captivating and peaceful 💗🙏🏽
not only is this one of the most beautiful tanks you've ever done, this videos camerawork was excellent!!
Yippee another Saturday with The Serpa Squad! Hello!
My home is too tiny for a fish tank. So im happy to watch your animals get great homes and quality care.
Damn dude this is one of the most realistic setups I’ve ever seen. It looks like you took a slice of riverbed and stuck it into an aquarium
I really like the tanks with tinted water. Looks very calming and seems very natural
Wow, that is really like having a window into a real pond or stream, so naturalistic!
Absolutely stunning... Its a perfect evolution of the original!
Love the natural look. The room is really coming together.
This is amazing! Just staring at the finished product transports me into a fresh water habitat in a tropical rainforest. Congrats bro! Your work is awesome.
All of your builds are amazing but I think this is one of my favorites.
This is my favourite one you've ever done! I absolutely love tetras
The quality of this video is even better than before the move, I can tell you put your heart into this. Great stuff.
Looks like you’re looking through an underwater camera under a river bank! Spectacular!
Really liked the use of zip ties, and then hiding them so well!
the greener the better! I love how wonderfully it all comes together. peaceful. serene. and those burnt orange color fish blend in so well.
Great build mate. I know this isn't really your thing but it would be great if you could try out doing some aquaponics using your existing tanks and grow some plants/vegetables. That would be very interesting to see.
Thank you so much for all of these builds. I have three tanks because i was inspired by your videos. KEEP IT UP 💯
the shot after you added all the spiderwood and glued everything together looked like a scene out of elden ring. Sick!
I love that coiled wood, adds a gorgeous touch!
You create the most amazing backgrounds and setups…the design is stunning.
I love setups with shaded and dark areas in the tank, I feel like it adds a lot of depth and a natural look to it
WOW! I love the new arrangement of the tank scape so much !
That intro shot, chef's kiss lol. Walking through a corridor of the most beautiful builds. Made me smile
I love the look of this. The small amount of green from the plants you added below the water really helped against the contract if the brown botanicals. Keep up the amazing work.
I would watch a live stream of this tank with that soft piano reprise in the background endlessly. The lighting is perfect.
Nice one. It looks like a cross section through a riverbank underneath a tree, from below the waterline. Great look.
Very pretty. The lighting really makes this tank look awesome. I can't wait until it's seasoned a little with that black water look 🖤❤️🖤
So glad you had time to make a build video. Such a beautiful build as well.
I think this one might be one of my favorite set up, it's amazing and so pretty
I gotta admit I wasn't a huge fan of the first black water tank, but this... this is a masterpiece. Unbelievably good. Thanks for lettings us watch the process!
I love this! Blackwater tanks are my favorite, and the combination of the emergent growth and lighting really makes this aquascape stand out. I definitely would like to recreate this setup. Take care.
This is gorgeous, Tanner! I love the dark water builds, and this will be stunning as the color deepens!
Your projects always amaze me. Thank you for bringing me to a different world again.
every new build you showcase seems to get better and better! all the hard work and experience certainly shine through your designs. 💚
This is one of my favorites, this is a pretty build
Jesus I can't believe I've been following this journey for almost four years now. The videos just keep getting better. Keep up the incredible work!!!
Stop feeding my itch to create! Another amazing build my friend
This is incredible. Such a peaceful aquarium. Thank you!
Amazing build! The plants and scape make a beautiful world .
Currently I’m on a 30 hour bus ride from Scotland to Italy for a ski trip, your video gave me new strength!! 10hrs in
Another awesome build!
On a different note, I'd love to see your take on a vernal pool biotope tank that would functionally go through a drying out period followed by a reflooding. It could house triops or fairy shrimp and orher diapause-capable micro fauna. The flora might be a bit more tricky, but I bet you'd nail it. 🙂
Beautiful as always, thank you Tanner. ❄️💚🙃
I always thought the orginal just had a dirty look. This tank looks really good. The plants are great and I can clearly tell the colors of the fish. I can tell you have gotten better at tank set-ups from your early videos.
This looks so amazing. The dark and bright areas look really nice.
Every time you do a build I “that’s my new favorite” lol
Wow Tanner! This set up was simply amazing! Gorgeous really.
Another stunning set up, excellent episode, keep up the great work.
This was one of my favorites that you did. I like the re design even better
I said, “Oh my gosh WOW!” When you put the scape back in the tank. Absolutely stunning! I think Glass Catfish would look amazing in a setup like that. Have you ever thought of getting them?
Can't wait to see it with the tannins in the water! I love the brown water look, it looks way more natural to me. I did it unintentionally with a beta setup years ago with some coconut hides and have been obsessed ever since.
Gorgeous scape! You always choose such wonderful plants to compliment your hardscape designs. Kudos!!
Honestly one of your best builds/redesigns!
Your naturalistic setups always look like a piece of living nature transported straight into a glass box. It's unreal how talented you are.
As usual, you did a fantastic job. Beautiful tank!!
Amazing that there are so many ways to use cork bark
You should do an afk live stream each week just viewing one tank a week so we can watch the fish in the environment. Relaxing beautiful easy. Love the videos!
My favorite design of yours to date! Wonderful work.
I like all of your videos, but builds like these are my favorites! Beautiful work!
Stunning! Really amazing build. Well done!
So beautiful! It’s really relaxing, and feels like the edge of a rainforest meeting a river or pond.
The fish look super happy too! With so many hiding places and cubby holes to hide in, they must be so happy!
Getting so much inspiration from you Tanner that I wanna get another shelving unit or stand and make an even better Palidarium.
Beautiful setup and design! 🏆
Thank you for showing how you do all this with your astounding creativity. 🌟
This is absolutely gorgeous! I would srsly pay to have my tanks scaped like this 😂❤
Beautiful setup, Tanner! And the fish look very happy in their new home.
Looks awesome!!! absolutely love the idea of letting the plants out of the tank...
I'd love to see you make something using fossils as the focal piece!
While I'm here, I'll say some stuff I've wanted to say. Like, I want to say I love your channel, been watching for a few years now and I love your style! Please don't worry too much about repeating ideas, or revisiting concepts. You were so good to watch 3 years ago, but you've only got more creative since! It's great to watch you revisit things with your new knowledge and creative eye. It may seem easy to you sometkmes, but we get to see you develop over time. You used to blow my mind, and I keep seeing you get better!
I hope these are encouraging words, that was my intention. You keep getting better, even when that's not easy to see from your perspective! I say that because I know I could have benefited from hearing it myself sometimes.
My point is, please don't worry too much about always being better, just flex your skills and keep showing us. That's all we want. Cos you will keep getting better either way.
Love you Serpa, keep doing you!
its so cool to see you back to self i love the build
Your tanks are amazing. Ugh wish I had my 4ft 120 looking something like that
turned out amazing! it really does look like a shoreline, natural and peaceful
Serpa makes this look so easy. Wonderfull setup brother. Top notch.
So aggressive and fast in the beginning like “ahhhh why you walking at me like that?!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think this might be one of my all-time favorites of your tanks
Such a beautiful setup! Wow, wow, wow!
You have helped me to scape my 29 gallon fish tank
i bet you have the happiest lil fish
Looks so good! Your landscaping is mesmerizing!
I flippin think this tank is fookin far out! Fantastic
Yeah it looks natural ❗️
Remarkable work
Your tank work has always been impressive but I must say that the shooting/filming and editing on your channel have improved greatly! Looking forward to the next one! 💜👾💜
