I forgot to talk about my shock, it was done by AHM also, it has their linkage and bumper cup. The shock is by far the best shock I have ever rode on any bike!
Nice build
Thanks!
What a nice set up. Wondering if you're a brand loyalist. I see so many EXC-F builds but not too many RLs. So why Honda vs KTM/Husq?
@@Zerotys_ADV Thank you. I never been a fan of Ktm’s since the late 90’s. A buddy has a Ktm 525 but they are not for me. As for Honda’s they have never let me down. As for loyalist. I like Japanese bike manufactures, mainly Honda / Yamaha.
Weapon!
Thank you sir!
What’s the benefit to using an rx radiator and water pump cover? Bike Looks nice
There are a few reasons, the main reason i swapped it is the oem rl pump cover has the potential to fail at the port to the right side radiator. The sleeve actually pops out. (I have pictures I can post in the community section if you want me too). Sd powerhouse makes a brace for the r/rx waterpump cover so the sleeve can’t slide out. The other main reason is that it moves the water pump to right side radiator hose away from the exhaust head pipe and the hose is also larger diameter for increased flow. The last reason is if you ever wanted to install a rx head to be able to run the r/rx cam you need the clearance of the r/rx right side radiator for it to fit.
More videos of this bike please.....
Let me know what you want to see, I have lots of riding videos and in the community section of the page close up pictures of different mods I have done.
Hoo-wee! Man, you put some money into this bike. Have you ever ran a 52 tooth sprocket on the rear? I have one for mine, but I haven't got around to installing it. Great build!
I tried a 53. It worked better for the slower uphill rocky stuff, but I didn’t like it on everything else. From the axle sliding forward in the swingarm it changed the handling of the bike at high speeds also. There wasn’t enough room to put another chain on with an extra link. I was thinking about trying a 54t and throw on a longer chain and see how handles.
I also tried a 53T and it was fun in some areas but I don't do slow technical on my 450L so I went back to 51T. Just works better here in central Oregon desert.
@@terratrodder I’m the same, if I was only doing tight single track I think a 54 would be the ticket. Stock gearing works great for everything else, just have to use the clutch on the right stuff.
Disregard my other comment asking about suspension. I found this
@@TyScott85 I answered anyways because I didn’t know if I had all the details in that video. In the community section of the page I have close up pics right after I picked it up from ahm.
Would you consider posting links to parts?
There is a parts list posted 5 days ago in the community section of the channel. If you look back farther there is all the oem part numbers for the rx radiator and water pump cover. If you need anything else please let me know. I will give you everything I have and if it’s something I don’t know I can find out for you.
Why, no rim lock?
I didn’t feel the need for a front rim lock. I never used one with my 300l and for the first set of tires on the oem wheels i had no tire spin. When I put on the faster USA wheels after 500 miles my front tire spin 120degrees. Now I’m running motion pro liteloc’s on front and rear.
Money spent on stuff unnecessary. That seat looks really comfortable 🤣🤣. Lets see you launch it!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂 seat is stock just recovered. Money spent maybe not for you, but almost everything I have done is to make the bike work better for me or to protect the bike more. I have plenty of riding videos in the channel feel free to watch.
Scott must be poor....
@@jdirt1982 🤣🤣🤣
Money spent on things you love is never unnecessary. Just ask my wife 😎
@@Brian.A.Simmons mine would also agree!
