Finally got my build finished and I'm beyond blown away with it. The body changed this truck completely. Side hills and climbs so much better. Great build in this vid!
My favorite one you’ve done. Looks sick and crazy how silent that brushed setup is. Super planted as well!
Someone needs to make a spreadsheet with this body and chassis that is just everything you need to buy for a full injora TRX4M, skip buying the traxxas stuff

I agree on the tires-63mm fit better than the 1.3 and 70s.

Thank you & many others for doing these builds I was stuck between buying the ew TRX M Ford High Tail or use a Defender TRX M as a base for this build so after watching you guys build & run them I decided to build one I had to make up my mind because the Chinese New Year is coming but I ordered everything I should need just gotta wait for my order & unfortunately it takes forever but it’s always worth it. 👍
Adam, the chassis is definitely not mounted right! The shorter pieces in the front of the chassis need to be on the inside of the back rails!
And the reason your 8 mm 1.4
Came out the back of your cage is because you forgot to put the two little black tabs that hold the window!

I am messing with the Swamp Claws in 1/10 size on the green inserts over on my channel. Injora are doing a lot of good work lately! I was going to buy the Hobby Plus Evo Pro but now I might just build one of these!

Awesome! I want to see those 72mm djcrawler comp pin tires on this thing.
Doing the same build but using High Trail links on the rear and rear drive shafts to extend a bit. Then that tire combo would look better on it.

Yeah - or I would be up for a build-along series. Do a deal with someone like Injora, get a standard package of upgrade parts at a discount (hopefully work due to the volume of sales) and then build along with the videos. That would be cool.
Love the Build Along series. Injora needs to create a builders kit with all the necessary parts.
Build turned out great. I am waiting on a green IR40. I plan on running some Meus axles, scx drivtrain, and topping it off with some Phoenix decals lol.

I can't get over how much quieter the injora ESC is over traxxas one. No high pitch whine. I'm definitely going to grab a few when I get a chance
The one thing I really dislike is the esc whine. Kind of obnoxious to use indoors.. to the extent I'm considering going brushless, but for the $ could buy another mini crawler lol
@@grantstricklin4439 the stock ESC is almost as bad as nails on a chalk board. I'm glad that injora has made something affordable and doesn't cost the same or more than the purchase of the truck
Dude! Awesome build but you forgot the to put the two black support washer pieces in the cab. That’s why your screws almost went through the back rails. I did the same and had to look at the instructions again. Great work Adam!

Hey Adam, a video on brass upgrades for those Injora axles would be great. I'm wondering if other manufacturers' diff covers and parts can fit on them.
You should look up oppai factory skid tuck. I did one on my 4m and it totally made it way more capable. Tucks the skid up flush with your chassis 👌🤙

yo fyi on your chassis you have the braces opposite where they are suppose to go, the back is wider than the front when build correctly and doesnt make the chassis flex when tightened on the tray in the back, the small carbon fiber front pieces are suppose to mount inside the longer ones not on the outside, doing this allows you to put the injora ESC sideways and the reciever right next to it on the tray also there is room for both.

With my IR 40 build I blacked out under the body from headlights to front window and added aluminum foil around light buckets now brighter beams and front end not lit up just a tip
Hey adam did you ever fix the cab to cage? You need those plastic pieces that hold up the windows installed then you will be able to use proper length screws
Hey Adam! How did you get your 370 motor to work with the mb100 esc? Or what adapter would I need, a traxxas motor to what? Thanks for all the awesome vids you make!
There are 2 black brackets left over that were in the small bag with the headlight stuff in it. Did you ever figure out what the 2 black brackets went to? I didn't see you use them anywhere. They did fit over the 2 screw holes that attached the body to the rear cage.
How do you feel about the new lcg chassis not having the 5° angle skid? Does it really make a difference! Should I get the angled one and just trim the c notch off the ends for the ir40?
Have you thought about doing the new esc from injora with stock trx4m motor and gearing?
Some thing I have really been struggling with is deciding whether or not to go with portal axles or straight axles. I am just trying to build the best overall rig and I feel like portal axles should help eliminate torque twist versus the straight axle. But I just don’t know what decision to make????

Adam, are there any major handling differences between this chassis and the original Injora LCG carbon chassis? I have the original not being used and wonder if it's worth buying the new chassis instead. It's for standard length, so the length for high trail isn't needed. Just wondered your thoughts between the 2. Thanks
I put this body on my fx118.
Can I ask what shock length you used? I just slapped an IR40 together from my leftover chassis and other parts, but had a set of 59mm Injora shocks that didn't work on my Defender, and used those. They seem to work ok, but the rig is a little "wobbly", as one would expect... What length did you use?
supposedly the body fits well on a furitek fx118 as well. havent tried it yet.

How many injora receivers can you hook up to that injora transmitter ?
I picked up a TRX4M Bronco that they have already upgraded to carbon fiber chassis. I bought the Injora IR40 and am working on the install. I can't get the front bumper to line up with the holes on the chassis frame. I noticed on yours, it has plastic pieces on the inside of the frame. My kit didn't come with that. Did those pieces come with your lcg carbon fiber chassis or with your IR40 kit?

That injora controller is a dumbo rc and they are great
I put the horizontal servo mount and my tire are rubbing on the body at full turn

This body is sweet! I do prefer the look of it with the 1 inch wheel and 64mm tire though. What do you prefer performance wise? The 64 or 70 mm tire setup?
I think smaller tires/wheels worked better. I just put on some 1.3" DJ Crawler wheels and 64mm tires and it looks fantastic. I haven't run it yet, but I am excited to do so

They’re very similar in design. But if it were my money I would get the bronco specific one

@CapeCrawlers - If you could choose would you stick with this motor/ESC combo or would you go towards one of the Brushless units like the Furitek Komodo/Lizard pro or Cedar/Python pro?

I am super happy with this combo. I have the furitek stinger kit for this truck but haven’t felt the need to change out this setup. Very pleased with it

I haven't seen rock sliders available. I installed the Meus two-speed kit and that came with some nice sliders

Has Anyone Tried This Injora ESC On A Mofo RC Torque Beast X On High Speed Transmission? I'm On Stock Plastic Rims And 56mm Tires. The Stock ESC Cuts Out When You Go Full Throttle From A Stop. Even On Low Grip Surfaces Like Snow. The Over Current On The Stock ESC Goes Into Momentary Protect. It's Super Annoying. I'm Running A Dual 2S 1200mAh Parallel Battery Set Up So It's Not Lack Of Voltage/Amperage Getting To The Stock ESC.
Are you able to adjust steering endpoints with this esc and receiver? I have the stock esc and Injora servo but can’t figure out how to adjust my endpoints.
You Can On Both But The Stock ESC Means You Need To Used The Other Traxxas Transmitter With Endpoint Adjustment.

Yes I did. I flipped the rear hinge mount upside down and that fixed it
do you know what the gear ratio is in the injora 370 setup? same as the traxxas crawler or trail gears or something else?
I do not. I would have to crack it open to find out but it feels different than the Traxxas gearing
Do you need a front facing servo for this? Do I need to buy a new servo or can I just lay it down if I have too?
It doesn’t have to be a lay down servo. Stock setup can work just fine
What are u using to keep ur front end down? I did this exact build and climbing in having issues wanting to come back over
It’s a struggle with mine as well. I tried to set the shocks up as high as I could up front to limit the drop but that’s all I’ve done

Hey Adam I’ve heard talk of the new injora universal lcg chassis for trx4m is not very compatible with the lay down servo and steering set up with the IR40 body? Has anyone else heard or had issues? This is with the new universal chassis by injora
That’s the chassis I’m running on my IR40 build. No issues with mine
@@CapeCrawlers did you have to run the servo horn a certain Way? The guy I was watchin the other day was talking about at full turn it was hitting the horn on something.

Im starting to think it is cheaper to start from the ground up. You’re ending up replacing almost all the parts.
Why did you pick these axles instead of the new diamond axles?
Timing. I had planned this project before the diamond axles were released.
Can you run this with stock controller?
No it will not work with the stock Traxxas radio. Some scx24 models you can though
Why is my trx4m suspension sticking? If the bronco sits for a bit the shocks are a bit stuck and if I drive it Leans one way
It happens with oil shocks. The seals stick sometimes. They should work out on their own. You can try storing it with the wheels off the ground and see if that helps
