I was stressing out waiting for her test result,would have been absolutely gutted for her and the group if they weren't able to perform live.
I just love that Nikkie is trying to pronounce everything and is excited to learn about other cultures and languages, so respectful. Absolute queen!

I think that a lot of people who are watching eurovision this year are recognise their value because in the bets they are (or at least been yesterday) in the top ten and I think and also hope that they will reach one of the higher places in the competition because of their unique musicstyle compared to the other entrys which makes them stand out in a positive way!

Thanks to Eurovision 2021 I've gotten to know Go_A, who are my new obsession. They're just so wonderful! I love the combination of techno, Slavic pagan ritual and folk, it's such an explosive and appealing mix. And it gets you dancing all over the place! Love from Italy

Fun fact: Serbian word for forest is Shuma(Шума) and static noise is called Shum(Шум).
Serbian and Ukrainian are Slavic languages so some words are similar because they have the same roots.

Kateryna has really improved her english in the last year or so during lockdown (I've been watching her Instagram livestreams since early 2020 lockdown), but I don't think
any of them are as fluent as Taras is right now.

I adore them, they’re so goddamn cool and dignified but they have this energy that’s hard to describe, it’s exciting!! The “woven green cloak” of the Shum creature being part of Kate’s outfit is PERFECT, I’m so glad they made that part of the folklore an element of their staging! Also the “cyber tambourines” are Tron disks let’s be honest 😂
I hope Kateryna is feeling much better and I can’t wait for them to smash their semi!! I am backing Iceland but if Ukraine were to win I would be giddy with delight and excitement!!

I am glad that I finally found out who SZUM is in the Ukrainian tradition. I figured it might be the name of some spring welcoming folk game. In Poland, there was a tradition in some regions called Maik - it was braiding colored bands around a high wooden stake.
