Didnt you watch his official video of «Fallen angel». Its about him and his childhood.
.His headband is symbolic, cause when he was bullied when he was young, the bullies made fun of him and imitated his tics/uncontrolled movements and they wrote tics on his forehead. To hide what they wrote he used a bandana. So that headband has a symbolic value for him.. He decided to take ownership of the name the bullies called him, and used the name Tix as his artist/character name. He turned something negative into something positive. After he won MGP he said in his speach « I have for a very long time felt like the ugly duckling, both in the music industry and through growing up. And it turns out that one day the ugly duckling becomes a swan. And I hope all of you ugly ducklings back home understand that one day everyone will see you as swans».
Now he is Norways most streamed artist and he won the most prestigious grammy award an artist can win in Norway some weeks ago. What a revenge .

I never liked Tix's song.....it just isn't my kinda music, but hot damn he's a loveable human being with a good sense of humour and clearly a very tough journey in life.
He came across so well and I cant help but root for him to get to the finals, even though I'm not the biggest fan of the song. What a great guy.

As a Norwegian i really dont think he would have made it without his loveable caracter and personality, be basically represent the norwegian youth partying culture and has for years now. He might not win, but i still adore him

He really is, i remember a while ago he was talking about how one of his biggest dreams was to open an animal shelter. His style is just a stage mask, and it looks like someone screaming for attention, but he always says the sweetest things

@@tzoied from being in a NQ place cause of haters to 18th place (13th place in televoting, better than Malta and San Marino and a few others).... and being in such a cool place that Eurovision truly is and having at least a few thousands new fans and new friends and etc.... yeah come back with Keiino the next year I may never care! @@tzoied monument was never going to do well this year if you looked at the spread of points and how skewed it was. Europe gave almost all the points to italy, ukraine, finland and france and blanked the others. Even all the dance songs did miserably compared to previous years, coz after all the lockdowns Europe just wanted to rock out and rave to let out their frustrations. Even the climax of Voila came across as passionate and angry. 13th place is very good in a year where we had many quality songs
@@tzoied maybe but Keiino was never going to do better than 9th place and that would've been worse from their point of view. In the end getting the message out there is more important than coming number one. If that's all you care about than that says more about your personality mate or lackthereof. He does have an amazing voice btw. Like I said even malta got just 47 points despite the fact that she too is loved by Eurovision fans and has amazing vocals, and it was a weird year. Its more than a singing competition though isn't it? Its a television show and the entire format of just having 20 mins to vote means that its all about getting swept up in the moment anyway. That's Eurovision. You Keiino supporters are so salty lol not even ulrikke was this salty when she wasn't internally selected. In fact you're just as salty as France is right now about coming second to an Italian rock band, and it's not a good look.
@@tzoied lol here's the irony im not a huge tix fan lol during mgp i actually prefered monument but i wasnt mad when tix won coz i can be unbiased. I didn't even hear any of tix's other songs until this week. Fallen angel was never his best song but it was a very eurovision-y song. I resonated with the inner demons message based on his staging even when i didnt understand the norweigian version when I first saw it at mgp, and it is nostalgic with a lovely melody. The English version is cliche and I don't like the angel wings either way so I had it as my personal number 12 overall. Not saying it deserved to win eurovision but i don't see Keiino doing any better this year. Now that I have heard tusen tarer this week i was blown away and this is after eurovision. So dont call me toxic youre the biased toxic one haha

Lo scorso anno sì, avevano una buona possibilità, quest'anno no. Ai primi posti tutte canzoni "pesanti" esclusa Francia e Svizzera piazzate bene per chi non ama il rock. Le canzoni dance che vanno sempre bene tutte sotto.
Se guardi i voti del pubblico Tix è andato bene, e non c'entra "il fattore personale": Victoria e la Spagna allora avrebbero avuto posti migliori!

Nikkie is so great at these interviews! You can really see that she adapts her attitude to the artist(s) in front of her, to make them feel as comfortable as possible. Especially here, I noticed she was very gentle with TIX, whereas with Tusse for example, she was more funny and joking around together with Tusse.
