    Alright, how about this: a series of 6-7 songs, a total run time of over 30 minutes, but there the songs are remixes and each have 2-3 different versions? This, fundamentally, does not categorize into an album, at least in my mind and understanding of the term EP, but iTunes would think otherwise. To me, an album *should* have all songs that are different. What do you think?

    Great video. What if I m releasing a track and also releasing a remix of that track and the instrumental. Would that be considered an EP? Thanks

    What about 16 minutes of music containing 6 songs uploaded on DistroKid can it be counted as an EP?

  • @myad4096
    @myad4096 Před 3 lety +4

    So say I have 5 songs with a runtime of about 14 minutes. That's an ep right? Also great video I've seen others but not as in depth and detailed.

      I was supposed to ask that because he tells that in EP each track should be 10 minutes.
      Or I just get it wrong.

      @@AudioTechTV can I just title it a ep, bc I want my album to be 100% perfect bc that’s what I think a album is not diy

    • @AudioTechTV
      @AudioTechTV  Před 3 lety +2

      @@ulq1890 of course you can call it an ep. but it will be categorized as an album on Spotify and iTunes (not a huge deal). I’ve seen other artists name 8 tracks an EP. you’re the artist do what you want.

    Pandora says it's 1-4 songs instead of 1-3. Is that valid or is Pandora just wrong? 😂
