My RGH 3.0 Jasper Xbox 360!

- As most of you probably know, my favorite console of all time is the Xbox 360. I have been working on them and fixing them since I was 7 years old. I recently got the courage to start doing hard mods, and thought I would show you the result of my main system. Let me know what you think down below!

As long as you're careful and take it easy with the x-clamps, it's a pretty simple job. I have a Falcon that I am gonna mod for my sister, I was thinking about doing a video on it, showing how I do RGH 3 and the console disassembly.
@@HilairaCH I’d watch that. My thermal paste replacement was successful, and holy moley there wasn’t really any thermal paste left, no wonder it was loud. Lots better now.
It’s really awesome finding new Xbox 360 content and that people are still really fond of this amazing console! Makes me want to start making videos again on all my 360’s

Nice little video, most of the Jasper's that I have done RGH3 on tend to boot instantly or within a couple of glitches at least. I also normally use 26awg silicone wire as the sleeving doesn't melt and it's also a bit thicker so there's less chance of interference on the PLL line and less chance of a crash
I got myself a rgh 3.0 trinity slim and a falcon also. I couldn't get the soldering job myself for personal reason. Iam realy enjoying it. It's bring back some old memories alive.

1:01 Jaspers do come in the Elite case. I have one right in front of me.
Ive always wanted to mod my Xbox 360 S with XeX Menu But its not Jtagged. I probably have to get a professional for it, anyways a good video!
Lil fact: One way to tell apart a Jasper vs a Falcon/Zephyr Elite case is that Jaspers have gloss around the power button whereas the others use satin

Nah, its not true. It happened to Jasper that they produced these consoles in colors not typically black, but in the same color as the Falcon elite. I have this console in my collection that has never been opened.

@@faze_Nismo5778 Can be, but that's not common and an Elite case with more gloss is usually always a Jasper/Tonasket
Tengo una xbox 360 Jasper 512mb que no inicia se queda el led verde encendido pero nunca da video tenía rgh 1.2 pero lo cambie a rgh 3 aver si funcionaba y nada ayudaaaaaaa
Hi, i used a 50mm square 12v fan, low DB and 45ohm resistor on +ve side of fan and i get 43 deg cpu, 41deg GPU and RAM, it never hits 50 deg even on lheavy load :). The fan blows into the gpu grid and i made shrouds for the gpu aluminium grill for directing airflow and also CPU. the main fans are set to auto and the noise is negligable
Hell yeah that's awesome! I always wanted to try and do some kind of custom fan mod! I might try it in the future.

0102 is a GPU flip chip fail and it can't be fixed by reflowing/reballing. The GPU needs replacement. Same fix for most 01XX, E74 and 0020 Errors
dude too save you on that cable cludder on your eathernet use a netgear powerline i use those never have too drill holes in my wall or long ass cable

I'm trying to find an arcade edition jasper. I currently have a xbox 360 elite that has disk reading problems. Finicky to read discs. depends on game i guess?
There is a reason why slims can be hotter than phats. It's because the thermal paste under the IHS dries up over time and ruins the thermal conductivity, similar to how ps3's had an IHS which is infamous for needing to be delid. Phats don't have an ihs so this was never an issue because you always applied the thermal paste directly to the die.
Yeah I have heard of that myself, I thought about trying to de-lid a slim and seeing how much of a temp change it makes, but I don't have a system that I can risk messing up currently.
@@HilairaCH it's honestly a lot easier than something like a ps3, just look up an image of where to cut so you don't go too deep and don't remove the glue after your done as it needs the glue to sit evenly. Easiest way to put it back on is 4 drops of super glue in each corner.

Yep, Most of the time you will only have this problem on phat systems. I just did a Flacon for my sister, and that thing is unfortunately a pain in the ass to boot. Sometimes it takes 4 power cycles to get it to come on.
Still have two but both are 2.0
