@Drone Camps RC Thanks for the honest review. What would you recommend for a flying wing for novices?
Thanks for the vid Justin. I currently have the Opterra 2M wing with the ZOHD Kopilot and have to say I love that flight controller alot. The only complaint I have is no OSD or at least a Home location icon when you're a bit ways out. However, so far I've not had any issues with the system, I've done a out of range failsafe test and she did come back home, just make sure to flip your RTH switch so when the signal recovers it will continue to RTH. I was a good ways out where LOS was only via FPV but had 3 buddies in the area we suspected the failsafe would occur and they spotted the wing in the air. Not a practical test TBH but I know I can get over 1.5KM out, lose signal, and she'll come back as long as GPS is live of course. The Rx I use is the FrSky RX6R with the antennas sticking out the top in an angle on the lid. I get about a 15min flight on a 3S 3000mah lipo. I'm currently shopping for Crossfire but just not sure if I'll go with the full module or just the micro for my T16Pro. I don't plan on going out further than 5-10km with this wing but the Dolphin is a wing my eyes are set on for the longer flight time and distance. Just really wished that Kopilot had an OSD that was more practical for the operations I plan on using the wings for. In the end, I will vouch for Kopilot that as long as GPS is live you'll get your plane back as long as you monitor your flight and avoid possible obstacles. Great review of the Dolphin and thanks again.
I've got a Kopilot I've been waiting to put in a wing. Glad to hear it works well for you. 1.5 km doesn't seem very far for a wing. Are you using analog video also? If so, how is it at 1.5 km?
@@kevinmahoney9205 1.5 is about .95 miles out. I was running my VTX at 25mW and didn't have any major breakups during flight. I was in a pretty open area though so no major obstacles in between the signal plus I was about 300ft up during flight. This is all analog video system. Again my complaint is no OSD with the system but in the event of an emergency I have my RTH switch and hope for the best.

The front battery bay on this is HUGE. I'm surprised you didn't open it up during the review.

Great content as always. I have a question for you. I want to get into FPV airplane or FPV Wing like a 2207 2500kv motor. Could you recommend a couple of cheap small (nano sized) airframes I could use. There are a bunch of options just not sure which to get. Was thinking Nano Skyhunter, or SM AR Mini Wing or Nano Talon, Nano Goblin? Which do you think is the best flyer? Matek F411WSE, GPS, Nano Camera, 30a ESC and nano camera, CRSF 69 4s 1100mah type battery.

I've always wanted a slight forward facing wing,probably because they remind me of some of the old Klingon bird of prey space ships,yeah i use to be a bit of a Trekkie back in the day 😉🤣
Though this one is more of an optical illusion by the shape of the wing at the back,but still reminds me of the bird of prey.
So this one has just gone to the top of the wish list,so thanks for that JD as it's appreciated as always bro.

Interesting 🤔 other reviewer complained about how poor the low speed handling is. To be fair I've only seen that one reviewer saying that. I've seen some spectacular footage from this model with the hero 7,8. And flight times of 50 minutes and more with lithium ion batteries. I'm looking forward to purchasing mine when the budget permits.

I bought the Nazgul5 V2 from Banggood and I was wondering can I use the DJI FPV goggles and my spectrum remote , does the nazgul5 come with a receiver built in or do I have to install one?
@No Yes, it depends, if you got the HD version with the DJI Vista/Nebula and air unit, your goggles should work fine. The spectrum radio can work with it if your receiver is a spectrum receiver.
Ok, where do I get the vista nebula? Everything I need to use the DJI goggles and my spectrum remote? Could you help me with a link so I can but?

That's a fun quad. And super durable. You can add an aftermarket receiver if you ordered the prebuilt without the spectrum receiver. I added my flysky receiver to it just fine.
I bought the The NAZGUL5 from Banggood and it says that it’s bind and fly But I don’t see what kind of receiver that it has
@@p33treekRipAir I see four options on the bang good website. 2 Frsky receivers, one TBS NANO, or Without rx. You may want to order yourself a receiver. It's fairly simple to setup if you aren't afraid to solder.
I would be interested in putting a Powerful enough engine in it to fly comfortably 70 mph / 115 kph.
