As someone who was blessed with seeing this lineup live with this lineup, I can see that if you haven't seen them live it might be possible to to understand Puma's contribution to the line up. Puma was amazing, mesmerizing. Really I think I watched her most of the concert, she was front and center for a reason. FWIW, I really think the Rockplast concert is Black Uhuru at their peak, every song is on point. Better than Tear it Up.
I traveled 200 km to see this concert on a poor black and white TV behind the wall in East Germany and I was immediately bewitched by Puma's unique charisma as well. Yeah, and we have great party this night with The Undertones, Mink de Ville (totally unknown to me before), Black Uhuru and Roger Chapman.
THANK YOU!!! Looking soo long for THIS concert ;) We were there when they were playing in Amsterdam in the Melkweg.. The same tour in that year! It was AWESOME!!!!
Been Blessing my neighbors with this song for days. They can thank me later❤️💚💛
Mid-late 70's to the early 80's was the height of reggae music. Great Rock Steady, great Dub tracks. Reggae has not been the same since the period.
... and mighty roots acts like Black Uhuru!
You are 100% correct. The best era of reggae.
