Original Video:
• Pantera - Cemetery Gat...
For the first time ever on the channel, we are checking out @pantera with their amazing tune "Cemetary Gates." Admittedly, I have not dug into their catalogue BUT I plan on doing that after listening to this banger! This song had it all and the vocal performance was through the roof! Phenomenal performance on every level! Hope you enjoy! #reaction #pantera #dimebagdarrell #vinniepaul #metalmusic #metalsinger #90smetal

This song was EPIC! What should we listen to next from Pantera?!
If you notice Vinnie Paul plays with the stick upside down so he’s hitting with the handle and holding the tip
Phil is a monster! As for recommendations, I would say every other Pantera song. I'm not kidding.
I’m here for it!! 🤘🏻Thanks for watching!
@@setonhillstudios Agree starting out with the only power balled, would make sense for a vocal coach. It only gets better musically.
This is true^^
Phil Anselmo of New Orleans, LA. Under rated vocalist. Pantera is on my short list of greatest bands of all time. RIP Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul Abbott. Listen to all of their stuff. ❤🤍💙
Definitely checking out more! They were bringing that fire! 🔥 Thanks for swinging by the channel! 🤘🏻
Can do without the super racist nonsense he is prone to, but love the music.
Check out this same song the full length version. MTV video cut out the beginning. It adds another dynamic that you have to hear to truly appreciate the song!
Oh sweet! Thanks for the info and swinging by the channel!
Pantera was originally a “glam” metal band and has I think 2 or 3 albums prior to this sound that made them the Kings of “Groove” metal 🤘🏻💥🔥🙏🏻💯
Oh wow! Never knew that! Definitely have to dig into their catalogue more! Thanks for hanging out! 🔥
King of groove metal.
So good! 🔥
More pantera!!!
RIP DIME and Vinny!!!! Domination, Cowboys from hell, mouth for war, 5 minutes alone, walk, art of shredding, floods, im broken, and really most of their song rock.
So many tunes to dig into! Appreciate all the suggestions! 🤘🏻
The art of shredding is insane
Proper f**kn tune 🎵 🤟🏻
More pantera
Definitely wanna dig into more for sure!
Do yourself a favor and listen to the album version. They cut a whole piece of the beginning of the song for the video.
Will do! Thanks so much! 🤘🏻
Just pick one. They are all killer, no filler. Mo’ Pantera. Subbed
That’s great news! Can’t miss! Thanks for the sub and hanging out! 🤘🏻
Mouth For War!
As a Huge fan myself..
...honestly i wouldnt skip the first album with Phil singing.Power Metal. That album didnt get wide release but its still dope as hell. DIME absolutely wails!!
If i had only one choice for their album catalog i would easily pick "Vulgar Display Of Power". Nobody wanted to go second on stage after them😂😂😂😂😂
RIP Darrell!
So sad 😞 BUT at least his music will live on forever! Thanks for swinging by!
I gotta fevah and the only prescription is more Pantera! Don't underestimate the power of Phil's pipes and Dime's guitar and Vin's drums and Rex's bass. You should listen to 13 Steps to Nowhere, Mister Drummer Man.
Haha 🤣 Appreciate it! Definitely have to dig into more of their tunes! Crazy talented! Thanks for watching! 😁
This is a one of a kind song, don’t be mistaken, PANTERA was a fast and groove metal band
This song is just different but great 👍 try there song called - Strength beyond Strength
To really hear faster PANTERA. Nice reaction, I gonna subscribe and probably throw some tracks at you to hear🤘
Thanks for the sub and all the info! Can’t wait to dig into more of their tunes! Killer musicians! 🤘🏻
Phil, singer, had to go on one tour with out them doing this song. Other tunes ruined his voice. He couldn’t hit this. He did learn how to make it all work eventually. Know Pantera since the beginning. Asked him after a show why they didn’t do this. That’s what he said.
Great reaction. Happy new sub. Enjoy Pantera
Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for hanging with us!!
“Dimebag” Darrell Abbott, Vinnie Paul’s younger brother is one of the best rock/metal guitarists ever. Not sure if you’re aware, but Dime was murdered, on stage by a deranged fan in 2004. Dime was only 38.
Pantera was Dimebag - guitars, Vinne Paul - drums (of course!), Rex Brown - bass & backing vocals, Phil Anselmo - lead vocals.
Their music is referred to most often as Groove Metal, but Thrash Metal fits as well.
This song is considered a Power Ballad….
Take a listen to “Walk” or “Cowboys From Hell”….I think you’ll like both. 🤘🏻😊
Oh wow, that’s so tragic… thanks for the suggestions on those tunes!
Loved your take/reaction. Subbed!!
@@Beks2u Really appreciate that! Can’t wait to check out more from these legends! 🤘🏻
Walk, 5 minutes alone, cowboys from hell and domination are all great.
Thanks for the suggestions!
Walk, Domination, Cowboys from Hell.....Should be Next from Pantera. Probably biggest hits, but several others Are Worthy.
Nice! Thanks for the suggestions!
I'm Broken
Mouth For War
A New Level
Drag The Waters
Domination....Video Live in Russia!!
Thanks so much! You’re a legend!
Old school plenty of good tunes enjoy
Can’t wait to hear more! Thanks!
PanterA
Check out thrown - on the verge
Thanks for the recommendation! Can’t wait to hear more from them!
Check out fucking hostile. Great Pantera song
great reaction cool to see your insight! would love to see you react to Revolution Is My Name or I'm Broken by Pantera. Any song off Vulgar Display of Power is a banger too!
Thanks so much, appreciate the suggestions!
Phil anslelmo is lead singer you should do their song domination from the 91 Moscow concert
Sweet, thanks for the suggestion!
Dude you look like Paul Gray
🤣😂 I’ve actually heard that before!
Singer, Phil Anselmo, he made Pantera the big band it became.
Anything off Cowboys
Watch domination live in Moscow 1.6 million amazing 🤩🤩🤩
That’s wild!!!! 😳
Listen to this song again on your own time, but do the original version. The whole intro is cut off on this version. I think this one should be deleted from existence. If you ever do “This Love” from them, same deal. There is a longer version that should be checked out.
Awesome, thanks for the heads up!
Not sure how you can call yourself a drummer/musician if you have never heard of Dime and Vinny Abbot.
Guess not 🤷🏻♂️
It's just impossible to imagine him hitting this note now, with how he sounds....I wonder what they are doing on the fake "pantera" tour. I might have to look for that.
Are they currently touring? I didn’t know they were still at it
@@setonhillstudios Well, it's a controversy. Two members are still alive and they got together with two other musicians and went on tour as "Pantera", despite it being clear that the two members who died would not want that. I'm a big fan of Pantera but I refused to go to such a concert. If they had just called it a tribute tour and not taken on the name, I likely would have gone.
My guess is you're not hitting it now like you did 30 years ago either. 😘
@@minigirl6839 Yeah. there is no way he does. My guess is that he doesn't even try. I like that approach better than what I've seen from the likes of Guns n Roses, where they bring in another person to sing the highs (for the most part).
You revue a band and have no idea of who is the band? Look before you leap...
Discovering new folks as we go. Not a review, but a reaction to hearing them for the first time ✌🏼
That's kind of the idea 🙄
