- I told my friends/co-workers that "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" by Panic At the Disco is one of the best white boy songs I've ever heard. Now they're sending me song suggestions and I'm doing live reactions here, on the Trying White Music series lmao

“Come on Dirtbag, I mean Dimebag” 😂😂
Lmfaoooo
I legitimately laughed out loud when he said that.
Heeheehee,,,,,
@@HollywoodRobTV hay Rob! Do yourself a favor and just jump into Pantera "The Great Southern TRENDKILL" album. At least make vids for the first 3 songs- better yet, make a vid of those songs IN A ROW ON ONE VID! and then jump to Floods. Then go back and hit the first 3 from Vulgar display of Power. And the hits from Far Beyond Driven. SO GOOD. DIMEBAG IS UNMATCHED ON EVERY LEVEL!! BANG!
OG member of the White HOF! 🤣
“That might be the best note I’ve heard”…
Phil - “hold my beer”
This is why there were so many comments about that live show react Rob did saying Phil was drunk and off his game. He wasn't *bad* at that show, but when he's on form Phil can WAIL.
Phil - "Hold my white wine."
He should do "Shattered" next, more of a Phil driven song, this one's a Dime song.
Phil - "hold my swastika"
Im Broken should be next. Take an old man's word for it.
I would agree
That outro 🤘🏽😎
I have Far Beyond Driven on CD, and bought the cassette in 1994.
I'm Broken is great just because there is no lyric more fun to scream in your car than "I'M BROKEN". Shit goes unreasonably hard.
5 minutes alone, slaughtered, avoid the light, the sleep,10s etccc
Pantera - 5 minutes Alone
🤘🏽😎
You fuckin with Metal Magic?
@@lulairenoroub3869 only if he does We'll Meet Again
Great song!
Yeeeees and I’m broken
The entire pantera catalog is fuckin fire dude. You gotta dive deeper in 🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽
Live in a hole, regular people, hard lines…all bangers
If you want the best bangers for pantera “5 minutes along”, “fucking Hostile”, “I’m broken” and “this Love” is considered by many one of pantera’s best overall songs in their catalog
Revolution is my name roo
Too
"Slaughtered", "Regular People", "I'll Cast a Shadow", and "The Sleep", considered by many Pantera fans bangers.
@@corrob there are plenty, I just wanted to give him a few. Most of all panteras songs are bangers haha other than tracks like cover of plant caravan or floods, etc
This Love is probably my favorite Pantera song that isn't on Cowboys From Hell, because picking CFH songs is cheating. Like this song, This Love is Pantera's idea of a soft song and it's still ridiculously heavy lol. It almost gets harder when they try to be soft.
dimebag is my personal favorite guitarist of all time. his playing on their song "Floods" is beyond this planet. Rest In Power
I love every EVERY Pantera song, but Floods just takes the cake 🤘🏻
Dime matching Phil at the end is an all timer
Request for Pantera: "I'm Broken!"
Drag the water
Art of shredding
Hell yeah a banger from FBD
damn this shit is a fucking banger wtffff
That last ringing note on the guitar has always, and likely will always, give me chills. It's so damn good.
Was waiting for this reaction!!!
Nah, this ain't the end of the movie. This is the part where the protagonist thinks that the odds are just too much against him and he's thinking of just giving up... but then he's like "Nah, screw it, Imma gonna murderfuck everyone instead."
And then the second half of John Wick happens.
This song is so crazy. It gives me Goosebumps.
My brother in Christ, King, Legend
You deserve so much more on your head than those Turtle Beach headphones. (jokes) But ay, as a white dude that f*cks with everything from Outkast to Jeru the Damaja, to Afrika Bambaata to Kendrick, to Cradle of Filth, and Lamb of God and Pantera, I really love the lane you been in the last few months I been following you. You really do feel the energy that was put into production, whether it be American Thrash Metal or some Alice in Chains or some shit. What you're doing is bridging a divide in culture, and Lord knows we all need a vessel like you in these times. I get JUST AS HYPE as you get in the videos when tone drops or the beat goes in a different direction, I feed off the reactions man. It lets me know another human being "gets it" like I do.
Cheers on that upcoming 100k, it's bound to happen.
Dammit Pantera, this beer is warm! Get me another one!
Phil's from New Orleans. He's probably been to a cookout or two. The thing about us metal singers from New Orleans is that we took it ALL in coming up. All the local stuff. King Floyd, The Meters, Neville Brothers, etc. Then all the classic rock, soul, R&B, Motown, etc. plays into it also. It's all in there in one big gumbo of influence.
I’m from Louisiana too!
Dime died on my 12th bday. I got into metal was 9 and Pantera was one of my favorite bands at the time. I'll never forget hearing the news when i got home from school the next day. This song always reminds me of that day. It legitimately sounds like the guitar is crying
Well said. I remember his passing and it hurting my soul to the core. Like I lost a friend. I wrote a article at my high school in history class for a "current events" presentation about that day. One of the only times I stood up in front of the class to speak because I felt I had to in honor of one of the best guitarist to ever grace our ears.
😢
All time classic. That ending just blew me away the first time I heard it.
God I want that f'n Sagat statue. It's the best one they made of him I feel.
5 minutes alone it’s literally about running a fade 😂🔥🔥
I love that you happen to react to all my fav stuff. From the kendrick drake diss to pantera. How can i not love this channel?!😂😂
Btw phil anselmos voice in this song is so perfect and beautiful i never get over it.
Love your genuine energy you put in these reactions man, the next track gotta be “5 Minutes Alone”. Pantera does not miss 🔥
💪🏽😎
Well done. Im a 59yr old hard core metalhead I wish you would have had the chance to see them live in the 80's. I was in the military stationed in San Antonio and saw Pantera at least 7-8 times in my 4 years there. Dimebags precision would take your breath away. The heavy bass especially when you stood close to the front would enter your chest. You could feel it travel through your body and exit your spine. They were Metal Power Personified.
Pantera is the only band where I can listen to each of their albums front to back, and all of their albums are their best album
Shedding skin and hollow are incredible. You’re awesome thanks for the reactions.
robtv is where it’s at i love the reactions
"Crooning " bahahahaa!!! Juliard. Lol. That was awesome.
This dude is hella funny 😂
Nice! Finally someone reacting to the studio version 💕
The little croon definition sign, was a nice touch. Great video, brother. Thanks.
Panteras song library is so tight 5 albums of pure fire. It's not one of their hits but "A new level" is an adrenaline rush with a lightning fast solo and one of the hardest riffs ever, Dimebag was a wizard.
U know the albums before CFH right? No one listens to them but they exist lol.
@@CoboProdz I'm aware of them they where called Metal Magic or something.
Thank you for doing the longer version with the lovely intro
I hope one day I am 80 and watching people experience the beautiful work of my brother from another mother Dime! He was such an inspired guitarist. He could play anything. I miss how we would always randomly run into each other around DFW and he always had a laugh when he would see me. So many nights cracking each other up. He was as genuine as they come.
Never met him, but surely wish I did. I know I’d of been cracking up the entire time!!
Ooo u do these songs too? Pantera Walk is my favorite. 💙✌🏾have a good weekend Rob
First reaction I’ve watched from u. Won’t be the last. Love it.
This is by far my favorite Pantera song, part of it is the singing, it is great to see the range of the singer as opposed to just that thrash metal scream voice that a lot of guys don't deviate from. This song is just raw emotion as well, to anyone that has lost someone important to them this song brings you right back to that but also reminds you that you have to go on.
One of the greatest metal songs ever made
I've been waiting for this one!
One of my favs since I first heard it. Keep up the reactions!
Just found your channel Rob. Started with Rage videos now you doin Pantera!!! Yo
Fantastic video as usual!
I have listened to a lot of rock and metal but always avoided pantera for some reason. We are finally discovering music together and that's pretty amazing! Thank you
Gotta say I love that’s there’s no holding back, fuck it. Just rock the shit. Subbed.
I swear I love watching these reactions 😂 🤣 😂 You crack me up EVERY TIME 👏🏼 👏🏼
Nah, Rob gotta react to “A New Level” by these fellas. He’d love the energy
Listen to this whole album! His vocals shine like this all over this album
I got you rob. So while Dime is going "weeee" on his guitar, Rex is on bass making the "dundundundun duuuh dunduuh duuh duuh". He's doing a classic blues style bass line, keeping beat with the drums while staying with in the main cords the guitar is using to harmonize on the low end.
You reacted to the full song
The entire Vulgar Display of Power album is goooooooaaaaaaaatttteeedd
Still my favorite album in my opinion... MOUTH FOR WAR🤘🏽😈
I'm not a big Pantera fan, but I'm down for this channel! I'm excited to see what else you react to
Love to see some Deftones - Digital Bath. Or anything from the White Pony album to start. Also think you'd dig Iron Maiden - Hallowed Be Thy Name
I have to go with " art of shredding"... One of the best breakdowns ever recorded.
LOVE IT!!
Just discovered you bro, going through a tough time and your videos are cheering me the fuck uo, thanks 🙏
One of Dime bags best solos!! My personal favorite
Gotta check out 5 minutes alone next!
Lol, Trying to make it to the cookout!!! Great song great reaction. One of my favorite Pantera songs
You HAVE to do 5 minutes alone next absolute banger from arguably their heaviest album
great reaction RobTV; Pantera's "This Love" is on par with this for me at least
Wait until you hear “Slaughtered” by Pantera. Or “Becoming”
SLAUGHTERED!!! 🤘🏽😎
" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH " LOL. Love that shit
Funniest reactor I swear bro 😭😭
I've seen them twice, back in the day. It was like being beaten up by brutal and incredible sound! They set the bar for raw heaviness. I'm Broken by Pantera is absolutely immense. You'll absolutely lose your shit at that! Great work brother!
dang i want to come to the cookout
Rob has no idea Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave is the same band. Please UPVOTE so he see's this. Love the channel man!
Even if it had all the same 4 members it still wouldn't be the same band
I think he knows that Tom Morello was in both bands.
What? 😂😂😂
I always get the chills because of the music and the memories of my mother it evokes.
Was it Dime who was buried in a KISS casket?
Sure was with Eddie Van Halen’s yellow and black striped guitar from VH1, the actual guitar not a repro.
Hell yeah love it! You gotta do War Nerve, Fucking Hostile, Strength Beyond Strength, etc!!!
We'll meet again is the most similar song to cemetery gates, it came out 2 years before and dimebag's solo is just as fire.
I swear you have the best metal reactions, whether you love them or hate them, always hilarious 😂😂
Off to a good start, you are playing the full song! Most people play the video that cuts out the intro
This music has, in my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful guitar solos of metal music...
Now you must run into I'm Broken and 5 Minutes Alone... But their whole discography is worthy of attention...
certified pantera bangers: mouth for war ; anew level ; f?cking hostile ; this love ; strenght beyond strenght ; becoming ; 5 minutes alone ; the great southern trendkill ; Floods ; hellbound ; goddamn electric ; yesterday don't mean sh*t ; revolution is my name
Rob I wish you could have attended the Ozzfest shows back in the day. Good times
Pantera - I'm Broken!!!!!!
💪🏽😎
Respect RIP Darrel 🤘
Rob, now you've gotta listen to the live version of "Cemetery Gates" on Pantera's Official Live: 101 Proof album.
who are the 14 clowns that gave this a thumbs down .. most entertaining reactions on yt
Check out one of Pantera's most slept on song No Good (Attack the radical), or Regular People, War Nerve and Piss which was unrealeased from the Vulgar recording sessions that they finally released in 2012 as part of the 30th anniversary. Also can't go wrong with Revolution is my name. Honestly Panters ia and always will be my favorite metal band as there has never been and never will be anyone who sounds like them. Their entire discography is S-tier...but Vulgar and Great Southern trendkill are next level.
awesome! great song...their most musical joint for sure...lots more great tracks to go!!!
THATSWASSUP ROB. HELL YEAH BRO.
now you gotta check out Pantera- Im broken or 5 minute alone
SWORD- How heavy this axe! That shit makes you feel like a viking climbing a mountain to slay a dragon.
Check out one of their best songs called 5 minutes alone, trust me that song will blow you away the guitar and drum work on that along with Phil anselmo’s vocals is amazing.
that was some fine headbanging Rob, and also thats a damn fine song. I don recall if you have already recated to ACDC, but Thunderstruck and T.N.T. you can catch both songs in a Live at River plate version.
It was on the soundtrack to a 90s horror movie called "Tales from the Crypt" with a ghoul puppet as the introductory presenter. They did a series of three full movies and 93 episodes of a TV series.
This song is a rollercoaster, much like grief itself.
My favorite Pantera song ever.
You need to give Megadeth a shot - Tornado of Souls. Just for your reaction to the solo alone
You're awesome.
WALK by Pantera!!! I saw this tour! I’m 51!!! 😂❤😂❤😂
This album is such a landmark. Dimebag was the star of the show, but this is Phil singing his ass off in his absolute prime. To say nothing of how god dang heavy Vinnie and Rex sounded. This album is always like hearing it for the first time. They had a bunch of good albums, but I think there's a reason almost every song you've had recommended was off Cowboys From Hell. Every song goes entirely too hard. Like, this is their idea of a soft song. Imagine.
If you are still considering doing other reviews and first time reactions, I would in all honesty, love for someone to do like a Weird Al Yankovic series to compare original songs and the videos of the original artists, and then watch one of Weird Al's and compare.
For those unfortunate enough who don't know Weird Al's work, He does covers/parodies. You can stick him in a comedy section if you had to label it one word.
Pantera - 5 minutes alone will blow you away
Pick harmonics!! Haha!!! Dude I love your reaction videos
Every metal band has to have a ballad and this is theirs.
A NEW LEVEL dude, trust me
Yesterday Don't Mean Shit by Pantera. Take it from someone who's seen them live. It was the 2001 Extreme Steel Tour with Slayer. I never rocked out so hard in my life. I came home shirtless and with a bloody nose
"DRUM PEDALS, HUH? GOT DAYUM PINCH HARMONICS, GUITAR RIFFS!? HMM?" hahahha had me in that gyat dayum cemetery hahaha
Best ever bro 😅😅😅
