Am pretty self sufficient within the gardens. Clients will ask for stuff which I'll happily do but I put forward and say what needs to be done. I always walk around a garden before leaving the job to see what needs to be done on the next visit

I've found the moles have been digging deeper this winter as it's been so dry and that's where there are more worms until it rains. Appreciate the information. Nice place to work and be mate.
Moles do live and work over three levels really. The living/ sleeping quarters are the deepest. Then they have the food stores (they kill and store worms by biting their heads off. The kinda sqeeze the worms to get the gritty soil out. Apparently worms can live upto three days after loosing their heads). Then the top level is the hunting runs. This is topsoil where all the spoil is pushed from.
