if you want your laces to be shorter buy the vans half size smaller for example if your shoe size is 8 buy size 7.5 so the laces will be shorter and the vans won't feel like they're going to slip off your feet while you're wearing them

Nice man. I have some vans but mines are black strings on black and brown look so I think my tying methods are not going to pop as much because the strings are too dark. I ordered some green strings online so I'll put them in and the shoes should pop better without being too loud!
