I am also Class III patient and I solved my problems with Career Motion appliance 1years ago. Now I am in stage 2 with braces to have a fine arrangement of teeth. I think the result for me is good.

I suppose that in cases like this, before you start the treatment, you have to extract the lower wisdom teeth. The way you push the lower dental arch back in, there is no room for the wisdom teeth to erupt. Of course, removing the wisdom teeth is not such a big loss; it may even be a good thing. Other than that, this contraption works the same way the braces + class III elastics work. With more reinforced anchorage, I reckon.
No, in general, in Class II cases, you do not need to extract the wisdom teeth. Only in Class III cases, we recommend extracting the wisdom teeth
I agree but then the top wisdom teeth will sag down more and irritate the gum below it.

La ortopedia mueve maxilares porque es capaz de estimular el propio crecimiento del paciente (edad de crecimiento, mujeres hasta los 16 como mucho y hombres hasta los 18) la ortodoncia mueve los dientes dentro de las bases oseas a cualquier edad, lo que no es posible es frenar el crecimiento, por eso las mentoneras no sirven y las clases 3 de Angle ( cúspide mesiovestibular del primer molar superior detrás de surco del primer molar inferior o mas evidente para que lo veamos fácilmente, mentón prominente) son maloclusiones genéticas padre o madre lo eran también y por eso en casos muy graves se dejan desarrollar y luego de adulto se operan (cirugía ortognatica) pero la ortopedia es capaz de corregirla en muchas ocasiones si se trata precozmente mediante el estímulo del crecimiento del maxilar superior. Una vez pasada la edad de crecimiento con anclajes oseos (los micro tornillos de ortodoncia) se consiguen movimientos increíbles de los dientes en bloque que pueden compensar y corregir las clases 3 no muy severas, las muy graves son de indicación quirúrgica con buenos resultados, la clave es un buen profesional y no tanto los aparatos, un avión airbus pilotado por cualquiera que no tenga suficientes horas de vuelo y experiencia... Pues eso

@@kengycrawford1371 funny thing the dentist said my wisdom teeth were growing without any issues. I also wondered if I need any of my teeth extracted out again and the answer was no, my face shape changed from round to oval after I took 4 teeth out she said it would make my face uncannily slimmer, besides my jaw still big enough to accomodate the rest of the teeth. I'm out of braces now, it's not perfect but at least I can eat without my food slipping out my teeth.

Why did we not pull the 2 upper jaw teeth? For space instead ?
If possible, it is better to avoid pulling teeth: a. It is not a nice experience (or desire) for many patients. b. Why upper jaw teeth?? In this Class III, depending on your jaws, pulling 2 teeth in the lower jaw is recommended (on 2 sides) to make the lower jaw smaller (and easier to fit in). Then, in order not to affect teeth structure, better to pull also 2 teeth on the upper jaw. I am talking based on advice from my (very experienced) orthodentist

Buenas, la placa que se ve que se le coloca, que de hecho se ve que es transparente, se tiene que usar día y noche o se puede quitar durante las horas de dormir.?
Es una ferula transparente y sirve para que no se muevan los dientes durante el tratamiento de Distalizer antes de los brakets, se usa dia y noche, te lo explico porque yo llevo una semana con este tratamiento y lo estoy usando.

El tratamiento solo duró desde junio del 19 a marzo de este año xD me arreglo el problema de prognatismo y la mordida y todo al final sin sacar ni una sola pieza dentaria (tenia poco espacio y alomejor tenia que sacarme un incisivo) pero al final no. Estoy guapisima y me ha cambiado el perfil. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a todo el mundo. El señor Luis Carriere es una eminencia de la ortodoncia. El mejor. Un crack. Ahora solo voy una vez al mes para revisión y ya.
