I'm pretty sure this would just bring you midface backwards. It just makes you look worse. Your lower face is the same and your midface got even worse.

This is exactly the kind of treatment you DON'T want and should avoid at all costs. Your face can end up looking flat because they're pushing the midface back.

I got mine yesterday. Pretty comfortable, stays on very well and not too difficult to take out. Didn't press on too hard or cut my gums at all. I slept in them with no issues. Very cool technology!

The tongue posture they showed is completely wrong. The whole tongue should be glued to the roof of the mouth, not the tip.

before getting braces to fix this, first fix your malfuntion means you have your tongue and wallow mechanic wrong, fix this and this will fix yoour oben bite from alone

My experience with the carrier motion applicance was very interesting. Around the 6 months point i had a gap big enough to fit skittles into. My father did not allow any candy in the house while i had my braces on. I started to hide skittles in the gap so i could have a secret candy treat whenever i wanted. However this caused ALOT of issues because i stopped flossing and brushing around the same time. What can i say i was almost done with treatment and fatigued on all the work it required 🫣 Whoa boy, when dad found out he hit me so hard he knocked out the appliance on the left side and 3 teeth on the same side, including the canine and pre molar! I ended up having to get my jaw wired shut 😅. The dentist joked he should have hit me in my mouth sooner and save us alot of time and money 💰💰💰. My smile is even better now he made lots of room for the teeth to move. Now i have a Hollywood smile but i do avoid skittles because of the trauma i associate with them.

im trying to figure out what orthodontist i should chose. are orthodontic clinics that also provide myofuctional therapy better? because when applying braces they will not create end result that will interfere with correct tongue posture.

I just found out recently that I need this and am going to get it in the first few weeks. Before has anyone else experienced the following? Pains in throat, neck, shoulder, chin, and headaches (for me usually on the one side.) Biting mouth often, occasional shortness of breath. Just wanting to make sure this will help treat the problems I have been dealing with.
