With the right players, The Estates is one of the most hilarious games you can play.
Mean games are the best games.
I late pledged the latest Oathsworn Kickstarter and am very glad I did - 5 chapters in and I'm still having fun (having played at 1, 2 and 3). I agree you can't have too many sessions back-to-back though as it does get repetitive - there is a bit of admin/upkeep between chapters which gets tedious too. But still a very good game imo.
Looking forward to getting it out soon!
I cant comment on any of those games as I've played none of them! However I must say Connemara is one of my fav Irish Whiskeys.

Great video and a big thanks from me for helping me find caper:Europe in the last year! Have you both ever looked into IV studio's games? I would love to hear what both of you think of games like veiled fate (can be perfect for 2 players even when it's meant for more) or mythic mischief, some of my recent absolute favorites at 2 player count!

Spots is wonderful, I've yet to have anyone not love it. You can play it gently with kids or aggressively pushing your luck to get the free scoring action with adults. Everyone ends up laughing and shouting. (By the way, all the best people are born in November 😁)
Having got Dune and both the expansions plus treated myself to some fancy components (something I never do) I'm a little peeved about the new Dune. Of course I don't have to buy it (and I won't) but it doesn't feel very classy of Direwolf to bring out what is basically a v1.5 so soon after the last expansion came our for Imperium.
Yea, we introduced it to our gaming group at the pub and they really enjoyed Spots! I get that feeling about Dune - it does now have a weird spot with being so interchangeable. I will say you can play with the two expansions fairly seamlessly (with Uprising), but there will always be a lot of hesitation to go out an purchase a 1.5 when you have 1.0.

Hahaha they do occasionally come in and out of shot - it's like an Easter egg! You've gotta watch closely.
