EXTRAORDINARY tells the amazing story of ultra-marathon runner and college professor David Horton, his wife, Nancy, and their attempt to finish their marriage race well. Although proud of his incredible athletic accomplishments and the impact he has on his students, David's family continuously pays a high price for his years of competitive running. Following his open-heart surgery and irreparable damage to his knees, Nancy is ready for Dave to hang up his racing shoes for good and focus his boundless energy on their family. Instead, feeling called by God to "inspire people one last time," Dave sets off for a 2,900-mile race across America. EXTRAORDINARY was created and produced by Liberty University's film program. Amen 🙏 I get such peace knowing those I love who were saved are there: now I just take it one day at a time trying to be a good mom and wife and person in general. It’s not easy lately financially medical costs are taking a toll. I am expecting my 4th baby a big surprise right after my mom died this July somehow I still conceived, I know the lord was sending us a blessing. Losing her then my best friend it’s been hard I can not imagine how hard for you to have lost your husband. I’ve been doing a lot of praying while being in bed and studying the Bible, and tonight decided to find some good wholesome movies. Try to make me focus on all the blessings and how good the lord is an off the worry’s of this world. I hope your are doing well, and I want to thank you for your comment. Have watched this movie and it has encouraged me alot .sometimes my husband leaves alone home and I could complain but all have got in this movie is whatever he does , it's for the good of his family that's why I had to pause it and gave him a call . Blessings to you actors
The path is not always easy, so we strive to the end, holding on to the Lord and doing everything for His glory. This movie is so encouraging to finish what you've started, every good thing that the Lord wants you to do, let Him help you to finish it. And remember we need others to help carry us through.

So many races requiring perseverance… and God’s Amazing Grace. So many great lessons in this movie.Especially love that they were learned and now shared through the true testimony of this dear couple’s real life. We each have a unique God-given destiny. To love and lead those in our God-given sphere of influencer closer to Him. I wonder how the Lord went on to change that Russian’s life, too. Blessing upon blessing!

Such a good AND an encouraging movie, thank you!! I’ve always loved that verse “But they that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings as eagles; they will run and not grow weary and they will walk, and not faint.” We want to START well but also need to endure, occupy, and FINISH well! ❤️As Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:11-12 (towards the end of his own race) “…peruse righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith…” then in 6:7 he says - “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” What an amazing testimony!! I pray I can say the same at the end of my “race”✝️🙏

What a beautiful touching movie, I thank God for that. I couldnt hold back the tears when I saw him running towards the finish line, sometimes we can barely walk like him but God gives us the strength to finish the race. God is faithful and always present.

It's ace when you see some of the same actors in these movies because I think the good pastor guy who worked at the school in discarded things was in God's Compass or war room one of them anyway. I love these movies. I hope they make them forever.

What a heartfelt movie and amidst the struggles and the pain our God was always in the centre,never left his side...and he demonstrated faith which can move mountains.The Russian guy knew without a doubt that God was alive and faithful and powerful......and the encouragement by his adoring family and close friends and his students motivated him along the way.....Beautiful and inspiring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can relate with this movie! I lost twins while pregnant at 7.5 months 4 miscarriages after that. Had a daughter that died at 2 months 2 days, 2 hours old after heart surgery. I was so mad at God. I remarried and had a beautiful daughter who's 35 years old now.

This movie "Extrordinary" reminds me of an old movie that was based from Walt Disney and made in 1993: "Iron Will". That's what this movie reminds me of. Got a question. They all started from California so How is it he's or all are running alone (except the few times with the Russian) but ends up together for recoupe, sleep , eat time ? Be more real if we'd see him stretch every mile at least!!! Do love the motivation he has & inspiration it gives.
