We have a merciful God watching over us. Forgiveness is NOT for the person that did us wrong. It's for us that forgives them. Vengeance is the Lord's not ours.

It's for them too. Because when we pray for our enemies, and love them the way God lead us to love them. They can be healed, delivered, and set free from the grips of the enemy. That is why the Lord lead us to pray for them and forgive them.

This movie humbled me, my neighbor had offended me and I still went on my knees to ask her for forgiveness but after that I wasn't happy cos I felt I was the one that was offended and I had to beg, I have been angry for days but haven't just completed this movie I just realized their is more to practicing Christianity to what we are doing, I keep saying Lord give me this kind of grace.

This movie is very powerful. No matter what we have done, Jesus forgives and makes us new.
Some people remain evil and wicked. It do not matter to them how their sins are overlooked by YAHWEH. But YAH eventually sends destruction upon the Wicked and EVIL. Forgiveness is something I had to learn once I got into the Real Truth and deeply understanding the Holy Scriptures. I Forgive/ Forgave but I keep my distance from those who were unkind to me and my son. That mainly goes for my family members. Love you from a distance and if they need help if I can : They got it. All Praises to YAH. I have come a Mighty Mighty Long Way from what I use to be. Hallelujah
Yah does forgive us of our sins when we repent. 1John 1:9.
If we call ourselves playing on God's goodness and mercy we keep repeating the same sins with no effort in trying to stop.

Our sins are not forgiven because we confess. If this were the case - if forgiveness for a sin could only come where there was confession - then we would all be damned because it would be impossible for us to confess every sin we ever commit. We are forgiven because our punishment was put upon Jesus, we are cleansed by His blood.

This was a very heartfelt movie . I ponder and ask myself if I could actually forgive a man who assaulted me. Then the change of heart of the woman who ask for forgiveness from the man who assaulted her . Also the humility she show by wiping his feet. I immediately thought about Jesus. I re-examine my own walk with God and how I need to be even more like him.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾✝️

I truly understand your comment. But I was at that degree. My husband at that time choked me unconscious and broke my right leg during a domestic altercation 25yrs ago. I was bitter with much hate for him 13 years of my life. I was literally sick physically and I cried all the time. I started reading the Word of God about forgiveness. God helped me to forgive and God forgave me. It's burden to carry unforgiveness on your heart. I could've died. All Glory to God. O taste and see that the Lord is good. Amen.

This movie has so many lessons in the story line that I have picked up and eventually made me cry so much
= How often do we want to handle things ourselves and fail
= Sometimes it would almost get to a point of losing the people we love
= The unfailing LOVE OF GOD is always amazing
= How much GOD loves and forgives us
=Oh when the woman prayed for James , I was in tears, how she washed his feet
=GOD always watches over us

Wow, what a great portrayal of God's grace. Truly He never give up on us. It's never about what we have done, but like in the prodigal son's story, He is always waiting for us to return to Him. Powerful movie! I was in tears with Joy and sadness. I personally had to forgive someone who hurt me and I could feel this woman pain! Forgiveness is a hard thing to do without Christ Jesus but it’s very rewarding when you do it. You get a since of freedom and release from that hurt and pain. It was very hard to allow another man into my life, thank you Jesus Christ
I also had to forgive a sister in-law who tore my family apart for 55yrs as a child I knew she wasn't right but My dear mother wouldn't listen to me when of course I was a child she recently passed away I pray that she made peace with Jesus a fake Christian can't fool God Yah Allah I forgive you in Jesus mighty name 🙏

This is a powerful movie on so many levels . Its not a movie about just forgiveness . Yes we can do that and it is very very difficult sometimes . However as Christians we endeavour to do as Christ has asked us , but its what happened after that, that astounded me . She could have forgiven him in her heart and walked away , but look what took place directly after .
Its almost as if the very spirit of the Lord had infused her being , she begins to feed her attacker then wash his feet and nurture him back to strength and health . Unbelievable .
Forgiveness seems only part of it here really doesn't it , for she shows GOD'S UNCONDITIONAL LOVE TO HIM completely . Perhaps most of us would be willing to forgive, but I suspect that would be as far as we would take it . What we see here though in this amazing movie is the pure unadulterated love of the Father in action, we see God's mercy and amazing grace now within this woman . That is bewildering to me . She forgives and then proceeds to feed and clean and heal and love that man.
I don't think anyone can do that unless the spirit of the living God is literally within them .
This movie would make a brilliant topic for a Bible study group . Honestly my mind is still spinning having watched this film . Thank you for it .

lol! I've never heard anyone thank God for his merciful gratitude before! Interesting! We need to thank God for his blessings a lot more in this world! Seriously, though. The scene where the parents are trying to get the kids to pray should remind us why so many of our kids are depressed. They don't take their blessings seriously. We have SO MUCH in this country! Wouldn't it be great if all kids learned to thank God from a very young age??

Though it was hard to watch people going through that sort of situation ,Its message is that God goes through all that with us and he is able to help us forgive those who have hurt us as He has forgiven us for all that we have done He is also able to help us love those people . As Jesus said in Matthew5 vs43-45 we are to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Thank you for this movie and may the LORD bless you

This movie dealt with me too because I too struggle with forgiveness. My older sister struggled for years on drugs and alcohol and was in my eyes a neglectful mother to my nephew and niece. My nephew Brandon especially, received the brunt of her neglect and abuse. He died in a car crash in 2010 he was only 27 years old. On the day of his funeral, she did not even get up to say any words on his behalf and looked around to see if anyone else would speak like she did not even know why she was there. When she attempts to call me and my six-year-old son answers my phone he asks me why don't I want to speak to her but it's hard for me to explain to him my reasons. In addition, I know I am a sinner and fall short daily of the glory of God but as an example of God the Father, I show my children how much I love them daily. I'm not Catholic but I beseech the prayer that says Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
