Even as a non-Mormon I found a lot to like about this movie. In addition to it being very well-made and unexpectedly emotional, the occasional critiques from the choir director reminded me of a former church choir director of my own and provided some good chuckles. And the music...wow. Like angels indeed.

I may no longer be LDS, however I shall always appreciate so much of what I observed & experienced with those whom became family, have passed away, feeling them still, praying for them still. This movie is such a Blessing. I am so grateful to have been given the gift to attend a concert & hear thr Tabernacle Choir with a beloved 2nd Mamita & temporary family. In the 70s I got to best the Tabernacle Choir. They sound awsome. Still love the 60s Christmas album.
Beautiful Movie, it touched my heart and my tears flowed. Singing is a universal language that crosses all meridians. I remember reading that singing is like praying twice. Love one another as I have loved you.🙏💕💖 Teach your children to pray.

I was a bit skeptical to watch at first probably thought it will be boring but then I was so happy that the Holy Spirit made me do, such an inspirational story. It reminds me great memories with my Mormon friends that I adored them so much. This movie reminds me that no matter what is going on in life, Father God, Lord Jesus and Holy Spirit and his Angels always around us, is just a matter of acknowledging their presence and surely they will revert it back with great love. As a minister I pray continually that God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, will guide, instruct, speak, through me as his servant! It is not always easy to surrender to what he has to say, but it is always well with my soul! The movie touched me mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, in a lot of tender places that reminds me of similar experiences I have walked through! The person said it best for me when speaking to Aubrey about Jesus's ineffable compassion: only he knows what we are going through! With him only, meaning God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, can we find perfection in an imperfect world! There is no other way to be well with your soul! Amen!

I didn't understand why they moved while they had so much to sacrifice,the mom had a job and the choir to attend, the children settled very well at school and the boy was attending his football games,they all made friends there. but grandma retired, was all by herself, not well.she should have been the one moving, unless if where they lived they were renting and they grandma's house was free accomodation.
