one opinion i forgot to submit (maybe): boy groups get so much more shit than girl groups when it comes to discography and concepts is because boy groups aren’t as versatile. that’s it. boy groups have really good music, but they’re often confined to one box for their entire career and whenever they attempt to deviate from it, it’s like the whole world ends

Many songs are getting overrated and overplayed because of tiktoks, so it's not about the quality of music anymore, or even, probably many only like the certain parts without knowing the full music.
I'm a flover and I've always considered fromis to be 3rd gen! Super late 3rd maybe but they debuted in 2017 which I still consider 3rd, that's just me though!
I've seen ZERO zb1 stans hating on kep1er. It's more often than not kep1ians are hating on zb1. I mean it's not their fault they are getting better treatment?! I know one person said that but they are from a small group of kep1ians who actually realise that the boys didn't do anything wrong. I see kep1ians hating on zb1 on a daily basis...
both sides really dislike each other, especially on twitter. obviously it's not the fault of zb1 for being treated better but you can't deny how glaring the difference in wakeone's management of both groups.
When it comes to Kep1er and ZB1’s treatment, I do believe a lot comes from the fact that the show was different. Girls Planet was so messy from the drama Mnet was creating solely to get popular, ruining idol’s images due to the evil editing and the like three times they changed the voting system. Plus it was kinda clear too that Mnet was favoring Korean trainees like crazy, which was ruining the international trainees. Another reason you could see the difference is Kep1er’s career has been a mess. From the poor bsides to the fact that they still haven’t really found their sound almost a year and a half into their career is wild. But I do believe that it’s a little hard to claim immediate double standards since ZB1 literally has only been around for a month and a half compared to Kep1er’s 1 and a half year long career. I’m sure ZB1 is also being treated better cause Wake One realized where they messed up with Kep1er and kinda saw Kep1er as too far gone since in less than a year the group will be disbanded, while ZB1 have another two years and four months under their belt.
I think it's more because of Ricky, who takes advantage of his nepotism daily to receive better treatment than Kep1er.

I have this bad memory of a girl I met this summer at a con, she saw a plushie a friend got me from Korea about bts plushies, she was a stranger and was disgusted when asking if I was a fan, then said "... well I like everyone in kpop but them".

My unpopular opinion: Ive and Le Sserafim are only popular because of the former Iz*one members, their music isn't *that* good
That's subjective cuz everyone has different taste just cuz you may not like them doesn't mean their music is bad
both groups def did gain popularity bc of the ex-izone members, and lesserafim for debuting in hybe too. they both make good music imo and it’s really either just a hit or miss …

@@beommie.sAs someone who does not stan Le Sserafim I will say that Unforgiven and EPBW was the best girl group releases this year. I prefered it over my fav 4th gen group Aespa’s Spicy. Also Fearless and Antifragile are even better songs then Unforgiven.
That’s kind of a *dumb* opinion to me because IVE and LE SSERAFIM both have many bop songs in a ROW. Yes, i know that yunjin and wonyoung, chaewon and Sakura were ex-members from iz*one, but back then when they disbanded BARELY anybody cared because iz*one wasn’t *THAT* popular on the old days. So now the ex-members from iz*one became a big thing in k-pop 99%ish because of the music they produce with their k-pop group.
IVE BOP SONGS: love dive, i am, after like, eleven ( kind of a bop ), kitsch.
LE SSERAFIM BOP SONGS: fearless, unforgiven, eve psyche & the bluebeard’s wife, blue flame, anti-fragile, impurities ( kind of a bop ).

1:16 but Blonde doesn’t work for her though, the high near white levels of blonde she gets her hair dyed, effectively wash her out & make her look gaunt & ghostly. I wish Rosé would stop with the blonde cause it’s been 4 years already, she’s barely done anything interesting to her hair aside from occasional buns, ponytails, or braids, but that’s it. Otherwise he hair is always curled or straight and you can always tell where her hair ends and where her extensions are added. Also it doesn’t help that her hair looks much thinner and weaker in comparison to her natural colors like Black or Brown. For those simple factors I just want the blonde hair to go. I think if she weren’t tied to YSL she would’ve experimented more with her hair by now, as YSL models are often seen having a one dimensional look to make them recognizable and more marketable. That’s the only other reason aside from her own personal taste as to why I think Rosé chooses to stay a blonde even though it makes her look sickly. Blonde can be for every one but just NOT the current near-white shade she has.

in my opinion, i watched gp999 and i truly just dont like the lineup for kep1er (personally, zb1 had all of my picks that were in my top 15 from the start)... i think that kep1ers lineup are one of the main reasons they flopped (+ solo stans in that fandom are insanely high)... the lineup wasn't really it for me, and only one of my nine picks (chaehyun) made it, so i wasn't interested despite liking wa da da and up. and they dont really have a core sound like other groups too?

I think (g)i-dle changed their songs, since Soojin is out of the group, which is sad ofc (She's still my bias) but me personally, like all of their recent comebacks, just like the older songs. But its their opinion ofc :)
