I'm a little bummed out that people are starting to hate Hype Boy! That's still my #1 favorite song by them! I also kinda like Zero, the chorus was weird but it reminded me of Red Light! Green Light!
Ah For me I need breaks from hype boy 😭 what I really don't like is how the chorus is louder than the rest of the song. I used to be able to listen to it whenever but I have sensory issues and I've noticed that if I'm tired or stressed I can't listen to hype boy 😭❤️

The reason that NewJeans are getting a lot of hype from their songs is because they remind the Korean and international public of 2NE1's debut. Lots of koreans miss 2NE1, so they were so happy for the memories that NewJeans brought them
They are nothing like 2NE1, the closest to another 2NE1 is Blackpink. New Jeans can’t even rap, dance or sing and their songs are cheap knockoff western songs from the 90s.
What part of NewJeans reminds Korean of 2ne1?

9:21 We all know which group the op was indirectly referring to so... In my opinion (as a stan) I think they ran out of passion, my guess is because of the way the company treats them, barely giving them songs and activities. If you watch their past comebacks and stages, you will see how well they performed and shined on stage, even the "weaker members" used to perform well and had enough energy and stage presence that gave them the hype and support they still loyally have. Nonetheless, I think with all these set backs, they should still be responsible for their performances and work hard on their craft until the end, respecting the support and loyalty their fans give them. Some times tho, I do see their passion sparking out on their recent stages, only some times which makes me sad and a bit disappointed !!

@@nyerhovwoakpome2151 To clear it up, I fully disagree with what the OP said, not you. You brought some valid points. Here's my opinion:
I don't think they lack talent as the OP is saying. Blackpink members may not be the best at singing, dancing nor rapping but they're enough. Their skills complete eachother and it never felt like they're missing something. It's only apparent when they're solo (specifically in Lisa's and Jisoo's case). There are countless groups that are just as lacking, but it can get more apparent with those groups cause they make idols who can't sing hit high notes or have hard choreographies that not everyone can pull off.
When it comes to live performances, imo Blackpink used to be one of the best (if not the best) performers in K-pop industry. Out of the whole industry I could only watch their concerts without getting bored to death (besides legends such as Boa). You see, I'm not that big of a kpop fan and I find it hard to enjoy kpop concerts because they seem so manufactured and blackpink were one of the few who could compare to the western artists. A lot of people drag their choreo, which is understandable, but you have no idea how much it hypes you up when you're in the crowd. Other groups may have more detailed, hard choreographies, but who's gonna see that from the last row? You know what can be seen from the last row? Big open moves that use your whole body such as in Kill this love.
Nowdays they're bad, I'll admit that. Born pink was awful, mostly because of lip sync (but I have that problem with every idol, because every single idol lip syncs), but their Coachella performance was great imo. Blackpink at their worst is still way better than some groups at their best though (only speaking about live performing).
Their new music sucks. That's all I have to say.
@@sofija642 Okay, thanks for being respectful about it. I completely agree with you except for your last part about how their new music sucks. I didn't like Pink venom but I think it's a great song for live performances as it is very hyper crowd boosting. I think their new Album wasn't as good a their ;ast one but this album shows them in different genres, like the happiest girl, tally and yeah yeah yeah( I don't like this one at all). But they show how the girls can grow and try new genre's and concpets. I had never listened to a kpop song so subtle but yet so powerful( especially with all the swear words lol) like tally and I appreciate that from them.
Yes, I believe they are not the best at singing or dancing ( except Lisa) but I theink they have a strong group dynamic and each member compliments each other well. They are like the perfect group and no one really overpowers or covers another. I know people like to compare who has the stage presence or what not but I think everyone i Bp has a stage presence that fits the members and the group, their songs as a whole.
They are all average vocalists but they do sing live more often that most groups, especially in their tour, of course (I like their rap too btw). Their tour is also the only kpop tour (with an exception of Seventeen) I can sit down and watch. And yes, their coachella stage is actually their best stage in all their career, especially their week 2. Everyone performed so well, their vocals rap, dance and everything was splendid.

@@nyerhovwoakpome2151 I agree with you. I oversimplified and exaggerated by saying "Their new music sucks". I mainly ment it's mid. I didn't like Jisoo's nor Lisa's solos and Shut Down was also mid in my opinion. Pink Venom is kinda fun

something I find irony that old idol group fight for their life to be accept as an "Artist" by public that they can sing, they can rap also good dancing not only they good looking but now a day only Idol fan care is how they good looking or not (don't be hypocrite) more over they don't care that idol can sing or not just get well dress than show that pretty face on screen is enough of the fan now (feel free to deny it but deep down your know it) some comment that I read (not on this video) even say they don't care if Idol sing or not they just want to go and see them in concert or overhype they're fav talent when in reality it's so mediocre
