For Nightmare Pain, the OG Yubels do not trigger when attacking, only when getting attacked. So, with this, the Yubels can now attack and do some Amazoness/Gusto stuff. I do have a question, if the OG Yubels get attacked with Nightmare Pain on board, does it double trigger? Like, iirc, Yubel, when attacked, deal X damage back. Does Nightmare pain make Yubel also deal an additional X damage?
My understanding is that because Damage Step rulings & orderings the "Your opponent takes any Battle Damage you would've taken" continuous effect trumps the "You take no Battle Damage from battles involving this card" effect. Then Yubel's "Your opponent takes damage equal to their Attacking Monster's ATK" effect triggers. Basically, yes they take double damage equal to their Attacking Monster's ATK.

It seems no one told him this deck can consistently summon 2 level 12 syncros(1 on each turn) which means crimson dragon into king calamity. The combo starters are both lvl4s,the fieldspell alone isnt really a starter unfortunately. *Normal the tuner,search field *Actiavte Field,discard a card set the lvl4 non tuner *Special it, actibate its effect placing the lvl8 and placing itself back to the backrow *Special the lvl8,sycnro for lvl12,draw 1 *In the endphase set the tuner back in the backrow with the Syncro *During opponents main phase special both the turner and the lvl4 *Make the lvl4 an 8,tuner triggers to search(search whatever you want), field spell triggers to sycnro *Make crimson dragon, crimson eff target the lvl12 special king calamity * win Also if you play therion and you draw the field spell together with a starter you get to have 1 or 2 omnis to protect your crimson dragon. If push comes to shove and they activate something in response to the summon of crimson which would force it out you summon some other lvl12 like quasar or something because king calamity misses timing( in case you didn't know)
@@maysachan9921 for 3+1 monsters and a field spell that's pretty good. There's still one quick play to be revealed which could help the rigidity of the deck. Same applies to further support which is guaranteed for them to get in the set after the one with yubel and the next after it
@@raykirushiroyshi2752 the deck is pretty good and I enjoy cooking with it so far, however it die too easily to common HTs compare to other King Cala turbo deck, I hope future will fix this or even last card reveal before release. Also ban King Calamity as well

Back in the GX Era, Yubel was my favorite deck to play. I never did anything more than locals, but she was hard to kill, floated, easy to search with a tomato, and gave everyone a hard time to beat her. Yes, my win con was Final Countdown but it was successful most of the time. BUT even back then I knew she was meh as a boss monster in the game. I understand the support will not make her a top tier threat, but I would be lying if I said I will not be making this deck in Master Duel (The version of yugioh I play now) when it comes out. It is great to see the support and it makes me happy.
To be fair, the support basically fixes most of the problems the strategy had and gives some crazy tools on top of that Eternal Favorite and the new Samsara Lotus alone are pretty crazy
The great thing about Centurion as well is that since they are traps, they can be used during the opponent's Main phase as well which does mean double searches etc
As face-up Continuous Traps, you can activate their effects during your opponent's turn. I think the main combo line is to turbo the synchro out and then use the level 8 hand trap or they quick play to summon it as disruption.
ok this japanese german is かわいいですね. das ewigliebe wächter is so wrong in so many ways that i have no idea what it is supposed to mean. because its "das" you would think this relates to ewig as thats the artikle for only ewig of thee words which means its "the eternal guardian of love" but if it is the wrong artikle it would mean that it probably means "the guardian of eternal love" but what is sure i sure is that it is definitely wrong german. it either has to be "ewigER wächter DER liebe" or "wächter DER ewigEN liebe", or if it is what they translated it would need to be "DER ewig liebeNDER wächter"
Main thing to note with those cards is that they say “the main phase” meaning it’s a quick effect and works on both turns. This is great! And since the main monster of it is a spellcaster tuner that if you open the field spell does not require your normal summon, this is actually quite good for Magistus.
Worth noting for the Yubel fusion, I don't think it specifically requires the Yubel card to be on the field, unless there was an error in the article the the wording of the materials would read as (1 "Yubel" monster) + (1+ Effect Monsters on the field) where the on the field restriction only applies to the latter part that it is attached to, if it applied to the entire thing I would expect the wording to be (1 "Yubel" monster + 1+ Effect monsters) followed with the first line of the effect being something like "you must use materials on the field for this card's fusion summon" similar to the Trishula Dragon of Icy Imprisonment. Also you can still cheeze this slightly with fusion tag by having Neos Kluger in the extra deck for easier use of Super Polymerization without needing to get a Yubel on the field. Just too bad it can't target an opponents monster.
Super Poly requires all materials to be on the field, so if your opponent has a board full of Omni Negates, they just need to know not to let you get Yubel on the field to prevent you from Super Poly-ing their whole board away.
The fusion has table 500 potential. Yubel plus 8 monsters is an FTK. I’m have no idea how to do it but someone will think of a combo with Armageddon knight and Izolde.
I can't wait for the Yubel support. Easily my favourite set of cards from GX. I'm already thinking about: - Yubel Branded (Think branded banishment as well!) - Yubel Unchained (so much synergy). - Yubel Lab (turn it into a control strat) - Yubel Sacred Beasts (anime themed with good synergy) - Yubel Hero' (going for a more roleplaying setup) - Yubel rank 10 spam/burn deck (timelords, eldlich, trains plus fusion effect). Lemmino know if you think of any more :D
That 4th effect of that Yubel card was one word away from being a Treeborn Frog on steroids. If it had said "Yubel" Monsters, as long as it only gets destroyed, you'd consistently have a body on the field.

About the "read your cards" type of comment, I would say "read everything before having any thoughts", since people usually read A Sentence and already have takes without having knowledge of what the other cards does or how the deck functions. A card may seem unplayable or weird at start but it might make sense while you dissect their archetype.

I think Yubel wont even see the light of day at T2 since they will focusing to destroy or negate summoning Yubel at best since numerous cards floats or have effects upon the gy, at worst they can fuse a board that doesnt have much disruption which pretty much wins to monster heavy decks. The deal breaker here is Super Poly itself and the deck's main ability to compete in the meta since there is no way to search it and the Spell isnt reliable to be useful most of the time.

I wanna experiment combining this with danger dark World as an engine (in lieu of my Raviel engine). Searchable pseudo super poly is not terrible, and it doesn’t require a summoning lock like fusion deployment Albaz would.

That's Armatos Legio, but yeah they still have the Roman army theming. Honestly tho, as much as I would love it, I don't see Armatos Legio getting printed anytime soon....mostly cuz it heavily relies on Judgement Arrows, so unless konami also prints Link Spells, it's barely gonna be playable

I think so yes. It's sad that we needed to wait that long for another card that finally gives Yubel the effects they should have had from the start.

Yubel with Unchained is incredibly fun with the new support, my only issue has been squeezing the deck to 40 cards, I just use 50. 😅😅

Both Calamity and Crimson needs to go. Crimson Dragon just makes it easier to Calamity while Calamity itself is just begging to be abused for Locks.

If you use Chain Material's effect, you cannot fulfill the material requirement of the Yubel fusion. It requires effect monsters on the field.

Honestly tho, as much as I would love it, I don't see Armatos Legio getting printed anytime soon....mostly cuz it heavily relies on Judgement Arrows, so unless konami also prints Link Spells, it's barely gonna be playable
