One thing you gotta take in mind is that Mature Chronicle just says "banished cards" in the second effect, without saying either face up or face down. So, I think that if you have the 2 counters, activate Pot of Desires, and banish a Super Poly, you should be able to add Super Poly without having to use the other 3 counters. That would be nuts.
Yeah, that's the best part, you play 3 Desires and it """doesn't matter""" if you banish Superpoly or the one ofs you play cuz you can add them with the Chronicle kinda consistent

@@gudamgirexia1000 Yeah but Chronicle is just a once per turn. Banishing is fine you have card that activate when banished, but at least in the core of this deck, you want Super Poly as soon as possible. Also adding is 2 counters while banishing is 3.
@kinglegs1081 if you want Super Poly as soon as possible, you should think about running "Evil Mind" as well; it requires your opponent to have 10+ monsters in GY, but there are plenty of decks that shit that many monsters in GY during turn 1
God the Yubel support is cool, turning the "deck" into a more consistent, lower ceiling Mikanko with Super Poly as its nasty gimmick instead of Snatch Steal was a good idea.

@@Gilgamesh-em6runot really, many superpoly targets are relatively generic and can only really be telegraphed when activate superpoly. Yubel on the other hand is an automatic “oh that’s what you going for” before you even have a chance to activate superpoly

I wanted Yubel support and I didn’t care if it was good or not. Honestly these cards are better than I could have hoped for.

Wish it went for more gurren lagan than darling in the franxx but I'm all for the mechas.
Two important lessons: a bunch of people are stuck in the mid-2000s and think that "anime bad icky" is actually still a popular sentiment, and a bunch of people need to watch more mecha anime and learn that Gurren Lagann didn't invent basically anything in that show.
I like the Centurion cards, though I would hope that King Calamity is taken out back by the time Valiant Smashers drops. Card is much too easy to summon with Crimson Dragon now in the game.
Or perhaps Crimson Dragon should be banned as it's an enabler of degenerate things that were fine and chilling until now. Anyway, I doubt Calamity will be banned soon as he's part of the upcoming structure deck.

@@Ghostsonplanets both should go. Crimson is an enabler, and as the game inevitably speeds up more and more, we keep running into problems with these damn continuous lockout effects. Shifter, Droll, Azathot, King Calamity, fucking SHOCK MASTER, unless you're using the card, pretty much everyone unanimously agrees they're all a pain in the ass
@@Ghostsonplanets Crimson Dragon just came out, so it's not getting hit anytime soon. Also, the TCG spoiler for the Jack Atlas structure has not been revealed, so it is entirely possible that King Calamity could be cut for another Extra Deck card.
I think they should keep King Calamity legal as long as possible.
Solely because it's funny that every time a deck can run it, people freak out and then figure out that it's better to just do something else like make PEP.

I don't think the Yooble (Yubel) deck is going to be anything insane, but it'll definitely be Yoosable (usable). I can see people coming up with some cool and unique ways to use the new cards and I'm just glad that there's finally new support for this deck.
My favorite so far is the Prisma gaming version of "Let me eat your cards real quick"

the sacred beast structure deck has a lot of synergy with the deck so peopel can play the new yubel with a sacred beast engine to make it lore accurate and a playable strategy.
I'm imagining a world in a year or two where they cover it as a really good deck in History of Jank. That thought makes me smile.

Elemental Hero Prisma can get you there. Reveal Neos Kluger from your extra deck to dump Yubel and treat Prisma as Yubel. Activate Super Poly. Summon new Yubel card. Bye bye field 😂
You can also use "Over Fusion" (which is searchable by "Spirit of Neos") and treat one of your opponent's monsters as "Yubel"
U dont even have to go that far. U can just NS regen lotus, tribute to SS spirit of Yubel, and there u have the materials to super poly the whole board away.

I've been playing testing Runic Yubel on EDOPro and it's been... Interesting to say the least. Samsara is a level 1 and Sleipnir, the new runic fusion, is level 9. Accidental Chaos Angel synergy
You can move Yubel into the hero combo line really easily. Hero combo lines were already able to do a line that went into Prisma and Prisma can target Neos Klugler to dump yubel. I've been testing the deck since it was announced. You can for sure search every piece of this line off the standard hero 1 and a half card combo. The real question is is the play stronger than Dolphin hand mil or Cosmo Neos lock out or Plasma. Although on a decent hand you can Plasma and have Yubel live and have DPE live so I do think this is a stronger play over all than the other standard hero combo builds given it's just one garnet instead of multiple.
I want to know more of your combo with heroes. With my build, I typically run a small hero engine with 3 a hero lives, neos fusion, 1 neos, stratos, mist, and vyon with poly , fav contact and miracle.
Then in another build, I use 2 En engage and Panther instead of vyon, 2 neos fusion, 3 over fusion, 2 hero lives and 2 en shuffle
The new flame wingman card also searches the new Yubel trap that is a super poly

If you use Super Polymerization you can create fusion monsters out of nowhere, that simple.

While I agree that Yubel isn`t and shouldn`t be german, I think I can explain the reasoning.
German has 3 gendered articles. There here used "das" is the neutral article emphasizing Yubels genderneutrality/fluidity (whatever floats your boat). It is a deliberate choice because the correct article for "Wächter" would be the masculine article "der". Nonetheless in german the name sounds atrocious because of the use of a noun as an adjective.
the english translation would be something like "the eternal love guardian" which at least kind of works. I don`t know enough about japanese to know if their language allows this kind of usage of nouns.
German isn't the only language with 3 grammatical genders you know. Why not any of the others then?

edit: also I'm guessing Yubel is German because Jesse is Johan in the not-dub and they both pretty obsessed with Jaden and also Yubel possesed him, se above. That said according to the wiki he's supposed to be Scandanavian, but had no particular accent or speech patterns that would have made him any different from the rest of the cast. Or maybe Konami thinks that aliens would just naturally speak German

MBT missed something about the trap when he mentioned super poly being the only wincon, the trap can also use the opponent's monsters as fusion material. Of course super poly is just naturally a better option, but the trap is searchable since it lists Yubel

The effect to activate one of the HOPTs is itself a SOPT, so you need two copies to use both effects.

Y'all forgot the OTK with Geist Grinder Golem Going Second. Just Piri Reis Sphere Mode and Beat Down Yubel all over them
You can just win off of Geist Grinder Golem and any of the Yubel Monsters with Nightmare Pain, or Ultimate Nightmare against anything your opponent has. Of course, effect negates and effects that would remove them from the field or tribute them are very effective against them, their protection is very low.
All Yubels are Level 10 and higher meaning they benefit from cards like Mound of the Bound Creator and I've seen people testing the deck with Opening of the Spirit Gate to get to their Continuous Spells and reborning Yubel.
I think a lot of people miss this since it's been a long time but the Sacred beast structure deck has a lot of synergy with the yubel cards. Opening of the spirit Gates card gets your bodies on board and lets you pitch spirit of yubel, summon it back and use it's effect to search the super poly trap and set up hamon. so you can play Yubel with a sacred beast engine and a lot of hand traps/board breakers for at least a competent strategy with a win con instead of just punching the opponents monsters with the Yubel fusion.
It's awesome to see Yubel getting support. It definitely needed those cards.

You are absolutely correct, and Over Fusion is searchable by Spirit of Neos
And there's another janky HERO card that people tend to forget about because nobody plays Evil HEROes; "Evil Mind" is very situational, but it is also technically a way to search Super Poly in Fiend decks (the problem is needing your opponent to have 10+ monsters in the GY)

the continuous spells and zero attack fiends actually means it has synergy with sacred beasts with opening of the spirit gates as the main support piece.

Use the level 1 and 5 earthbound monsters to go into Muddy Mudragon, the level five searches the level 3 which searches Harmonic Synchro Fusion, use HSF with Muddy substituting Yubel and make New Fusion Yubel and a level 9 synchro off of just the level 1 earthbound servant?

Idk, I just really like both Yubel as a character and Harmonic Synchro Fusion as a card, if I can make something work with the both of them I’d be ecstatic. Maybe there’s some Synchro Fusionist lines that do something similar? We’ll see.
The new Yubel calls for a Yubel Monster. As it does not specifically name the monster "Yubel" as its material, Muddy Muddragon and other Substitutes cannot be the Yubel required.
Elemental Hero Prisma is the best option as it mills a Yubel and changes its name to Yubel, making it a Yubel Monster.

@SalSaDocs I feel that, but Prisma (and A Hero Lives) likely won't be the only HERO card ran in Yubel decks, since Neos Kluger is a card and Infernal Rage can search "Eternal Favorite" (but that requires two E-HEROes with different attributes for the summon, one of which needs to be Normal for the search)
The two best choices are probably Neos and Shadow Mist (since Shadow Mist can also be popped by "Nightmare Pain" to search a Yubel card)
And if you're already playing Neos, why not also play Spirit of Neos to allow you to search "Over Fusion"? (to treat a monster on either side of the field as Yubel for a Fusion summon, and as a QE)
Another fun bit of janky HERO tech that I could see being used is "Evil Mind", since Yubel is a Fiend deck, and Evil Mind can search Super Poly in some situations

you forget that the sacred beast structure deck exists and that has a lot of synergy with Yubel already but until now it didn't have a good boss monster. now it has a lot of points of interaction on the opponents turn. Opening of the spirit gates is able to pitch spirit of Yubel summon it back and that lets you search the super poly trap. and the sacred beast engine lets you do a few things on top of that. so you can play the new yubel cards with the sacred beast engine with the option of running Hamon/Raviel and the rest can be handtraps/boardbreakers/techs and use that as a competent deck.
12:40 do an average hero combo until you get two monsters then link into extra hero infernal devicer, on summon use his effect to target elemental hero neos kluger which will allow you to add yubel and neos from deck. Now combo until you have flame wingman infernal rage, use flame wingmans effect to add the new favorite card.
To actually summon yubel you could either normal summon it since hero doesn't need their normal summon or you could send it to the graveyard by using vion's effect then special summon yubel back using one of the new yubel support cards.
I'm excited for the Yubel cards, I think it can make a pretty good going second deck depending on what you run the cards with
it can go first. the sacred beast structure deck has a lot of Yubel synergy while helping you set up a decent board while keeping it lore accurate if you care about that.

I don't know what the new deck looks like with the new support but why are people talking about Yubel Unchained with the Nightmare Pain card? Not including the support this would only work on Sarama to get an advantage as far as I can think of?
Really crazy that they turned the Yubel which was a very weak archetype into such a deadly monster field wipe with the potential to tribute all your opponents monsters as material for fusion.
Centurion is probably still good even without Calamities. It's consistent and accrues advantage on both players' turns, so much room for non-engine, and Crimson Dragon can still summon an extra omni negate like Blazar or a board wipe like Supernova if you're just trying to go for game.
Yubel is about to be the first deck in Yugioh history that can banish necroface from the deck
The trap summons yubel from the grave or banished. Which means you can just pitch or mill or banish yubel for anything at any point, the trap will summon it, and then super poly. The trap literally makes the yubel splashable in basically any modern deck
But you can only do one effect per turn, right? So you can't do both in the same turn

You can play Keeper of dragon magic and orphys as normal summons to search super poly.
Kepr of Dragon Magic CAN NOT search Super Poly as its a Quick-Play Spell. He only searches normal Fusion spells

The new Yubel Fusion monster is perfect OTK tool for Labrynth. Labrynth set Chain Material and then next chain activate Necro Fusion, banishing your one-of Yubel from deck along side 15 other card to deal 8k damage. Game over.

Yubel is both they even explain it in the past flashbacks of yubel and Jaden's ancestor yubel was a young boy but has a transplant from a female dragon which is what caused yubel to have both genders.
The issue with this is much later Yu-Gi-Oh decided to censor this as to not have complicated topics in a kids show
