Old video, I know, but I didn't see anyone comment this and on the off-chance you haven't caught it since: Glorious Martyrdom doesn't work against blast weapons. It's right at the end of a fairly long rule, so I don't blame people for missing it, but it says: "Any attacks made with weapons with the Ordnance or Destroyer types or the Blast or Template special rules ignore the effect of this Reaction and are resolved as normal." So the plasma support squad wouldn't have been able to dodge the Stormblade's shot.

at 1:43:19 wouldn't your squad flee directly towards your table edge and therefor still be within the 4" charge the dread rolled?

Amazing video, just a point about the rite of war for the word bearers, it doesn't say that you can only gain 1 favour point a turn, it says you must spend it as soon as you get destroy the selected unit. If I'm wrong please let me know because I might be reading it wrong
Ooooh I’ll double check and let him know! Good spot, if you can wipe a few weak units that’s a massive swing to the units recieving blessings!

It’s a really good set tbh, and really good for learning a bit of remixing (as the 3d models are really well broken down to tamper with)

After 40k when shadosword with the latest codex has over 20 power and flat 12 damage it's....pity

You desperately need anti tank! Multilaser are great for many things but not against tanks or dreadnought. Lascannons!
100% agree mate, I’ve just finished 2 thunderbolts for an event I’m at but them not coming in till T2 means they’re not cutting it
I actually find it really hard to get lad into the list! The only real way is leman russes at 200pts for 3, other than that it’s gotta be las rapiers which I’m going to have to try (maybe a 3x3 tercio of them so 18shots for 540pts)
Solar aux is worthless
Not at the lofty heights they once were! I’m going to return to them after Xmas and see if a few additions can make the army work better (same with militia)
