    A Perfect sweet for Diwali!
    Just follow my simple tips and get perfect Chenna Murki at home!

    Recipe :
    Chenna Murki
    Preparation time: 10 minutes
    Cooking time: 20 minutes
    Ingredients:
    250 gm Paneer (Cottage Cheese), drained well
    2 cups Sugar
    1 cup Water
    ½ tsp cardamom powder
    1 tbsp Milk
    8-10 drops Rose Water
    1 tbsp powdered Sugar
    Method:
    Cut the paneer into ½” square pieces.
    Make a sugar syrup of 2 string consistency by mixing sugar and water in a non-stick pan. Cook till the syrup reaches a bubbly stage and looks white instead of transparent.
    Add cardamom powder, rose water to the sugar syrup and put off the flame. Immerse the paneer pieces in the syrup. Mix well so that all the paneer pieces get properly coated with sugar. Keep stirring till sugar begins to crystallize over the Paneer pieces.
    Once the chenna murki cools completely, add the powdered sugar and toss. Serve
