For a second I thought I was about to see this man go a whole minute without covering something in Dan-O’s, I thought we were witnessing a historic moment
Didn't work for me... I've tried at least 8 different tutorials on CZcams, none came out right... Some folks just won't ever get the knack --- I'm one of them.
I had the freshest eggs and guess what! I followed your instructions exactly and they turned out perfectly! I have the prettiest eggs for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow! Thank you so much!
Hands Down!!! 💯💯💯 This method works. I boiled up 2 dozen eggs to make deviled eggs for Christmas dinner for family and friends, and I gotta say, I didn't have 1 issue peeling all these eggs. Your sir are magnificent!! Just followed your instructions and wallah!!! Perfect Boiled Eggs!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Subscribed!!!
Worked like a charm, Champ! And I've tried about four different "How to cook a perfect hard-boiled egg" videos - yours is the only one that worked. THANKS! And sub'd!
This is a game changer! Thank you so much! My favorite childhood breakfast requires hard boiled eggs and this is the first time I successfully boiled and peeled the eggs. I made my favorite breakfast and it tastes like my birthday so thank you thank you! This is also the first time that I made it taste exactly the way my mom used to make it! (She passed when I was 19) so I have been trying to recreate this recipe for several years now and this was the first time that it was perfect 😭💛✨
I can’t believe the shade in these comments. I’ve tried for years to get eggs just right, trying all the baking soda, salt, and cold water combos. Nothing worked. Tried this, like a charm! Every time. Amazing. As a thank you, I just ordered a 3-pack of Dano’s. Thank you my good sir, keep up the great videos!
Yes, I agree, that's how I do it too, as soon as the cold water hits it, it stops the cooking process & prevents that grey mush from forming between the white & the yolk, the shell acts like a little mini pressure cooker & it keeps on cooking with its retained heat long after its been taken off the stove so you have to stop that with cold water, I usually let them rest in a bowl of cold water for a couple of minutes as well & then just crack the shells all the way around the middle & they usually come right off first time.
Dan' O. It worked perfect with store bought eggs. You have solved a decade old pain in the rump for me. So as a thank you, it is off to the store to buy some Dan'Os. Yesss.❤👏
I use a pin to prick the wider end of the egg first, then add eggs to boiling water, boil for 8 minutes (for yolks that are not fully cooked), then place eggs in ice bath for 15 min. Tap the shell with a spoon all over. Then, peel the wide end a bit and place a spoon under the membrane/shell to lift off the shell. Easy and reliable every single time.
They peeled, pretty good, not as good as yours, but a lot better than the last time i tried to cook hard, boiled eggs. The shells were fused to the egg. It was very frustrating. Thanks.
Corn bread is cooked and thought what else can I add to the feast. Deviled eggs of course. A little helpful reminder how to peel an egg never hurts. Thanks man!
No, there’s a secret you take that spoon and you tap the flat end until you hear a snap that gets rid of the membrane and that makes it easy to peel after you boil
Damn right! This works got 95-99% success rate so far. Super easy no waiting or anything just dump the boiled water and cover in cold tap water mostly to be able to eat them sooner. Then whenever peel them.
I just use a butter knife and crack the shell all around the egg when it’s cooled off enough and you can just peel the shell off like that. Takes like 15-20 seconds an egg and you don’t have to wait for the eggs to cool if you like it to still be warm
😲 I asked for this video months ago and promised I'd buy at least one of *every* flavor seasoning you sell if you did it! I'm sure that is not why you did it lol 😆 but never the less you did it! Time to buy a BUNCH of Dan-O's!! 😁 Thank you!
I just came here to say that this works. If you want even better results, roll the egg against a hard surface and then use the spoon method to remove the eggshell
I follow all the instruction.all i mean ALL including when he touched the hot pan with bare hand and now i can eat a perfect hardboiled egg with burnt hands.🎉🎉🎉
I make alot tuna salad w/eggs, egg salad, also a green salad w/ cooled sliced h.b.eggs I go by what my Grandfather taught me... Which I put cold water and the eggs in a saucepan, once boiled I remove pan from the burner and cover like 10 mins This way the eggs are hard-boiled without getting dried-out yolks it's moist with a good texture & much more flavor, rather than a driy powdery yolk and/or with a dark green ring around the yolk , this way it's moist and there's so much more of flavourful! Sometimes rather than use Hellman's mayo I'll use Buttermilk Ranch Salad Dressing 😀 it's a great flavour, try it youll like it !! 💗💛🥚🐔🥚💛💗
@@tharin4prez586 I’m wondering, is it because the store bought ones are pasteurized? Because if only a day old fresh eggs don’t peel easily then it must be something to do with freshness. Even though your farm eggs are miles better than store bought
‘Certified Hard Boiled Egg Specialist here’ It all depends on how fresh the eggs are. A egg boiled fresh from the coop will not peel as easy as one that has been sitting for a while. My experience anyways
You know that is so true. You will never peel a fresh from the chickens butt egg like this. No way on God's green earth... it has to sit for a minimum of two weeks to peel easy... maybe. Lol.

Lol that's why I'm here too.
Fresh eggs work the best over ones near expiration.
I'm cursed when it comes to boiling eggs. I could follow this to the tee and the shells still won't come off right.
I heard the older the egg is best for boiling eggs cause the shell comes off so easily.
@@DiabolicalFink my dad told me that today lol

Country girl. It's true! fresh eggs harder to peel. Use some backing soda instead of salt makes them peel easier too.
Gotta use the same pot same amount of water and same temperature if you want consistency you give up to easily serrr

Worked at first try! Thank you!
I sure do want to thank this young man for sharing this with us. Other people's methods are so-so, and, hit or miss. I thank you very much.
Alright wth is this. That boiling water needed at least 7 pops of good ol dan os chipotle seasoning.

All you got to do is run the eggs under cold water works every time you don't have to put all that ice in there like that

Just salt the damn water and pour cold water over when they are done .thank me later
I've boiled eggs numerous different ways and if they are fresh they don't peel that well . If they are a week or 2 old they peel better .

I feel like it's easier to peel eggs if the shells brown cause white shell bits can hide easily when you think you have peeled it all
Well, i just peeled 3 hard boiled eggs using your method. 2 came out perfect. One was a little sketchy. 😅
Are the eggs room temp when he puts them in the water? Mine took forever to peal and they were out the fridge.
