Stars Fell on Alabama

This is one of several songs I like that I recorded at home during covid lockdowns using my mobile phone. The song ending here is based on a Jack Teagarden version* that I like very much. The song was composed by Mitchell Parish and Frank Perkins in 1934.

I always associate this great standard with Teagarden, too. Your chord work, vocal and the tempo are ideal!

Thank you. It's a song I've liked a lot since I first heard it on a vinyl album of the Armstrong 'All Stars' concert at Symphony Hall, Boston 1947 and when I think of the song I always think of Jack's singing and playing on that occasion.
