My husband and I watched this here on this snowy Washington state evening in late February....boy we were envious of that mouthful! Now I know what to do with that big cabbage I just bought! You're a great teacher. Diana and Rick
Thank you so much! Enjoy !😃
My Dad was Polish. His grandparents came here straight out of Poland. My great grandparents. I've made these a few times. My Dad called them pigs in a blanket. You broke down the recipe and preparation so simple and detailed. My taste buds are calling for these now. They also taste fantastic after a day or two. Dziękuję🍲🍺
Witamy! Thank you for sharing! 👍🍻
Same thing for me my dad called them pigs in a blanket as well nice to read something relatable

Hi friend! Thank you!
I love your cooking! Not full of dry spices masking the flavor of food! I'm excited to try the Tomato Soup ingredient (No Salt Version)! In Greece we add a couple of raisins in the filling! Thank you!
I love stuffed cabbage. My mom use to make it all the time when I was growing up. You make it simple and not complicated.
Thank you!

Thanks for your video. My grandma's gowumpki is just like this and it's incredibly good and it can feed a lot of people, or just have a bunch of leftovers. 😅 I haven't seen my Grandma in a long time but I'm definitely gonna carry on this dish. Thanks again.
Making this. Thank you God bless
I'm polish.
Great easy to follow recipe of a tremendous dish.
Thank you very much!
I didn't know Mark Hamilton could cook!
Lol 👍
Hi, these look amazing! Thirty years ago, I helped to make hundreds of half-leaf sized cabbage rolls, for a banquet. The filling was mostly rice, with sauteed green peppers, onions, chopped up cooked cabbage (the leaf ridges and the core), stewed tomatoes, and seasonings. And a small amount of meat if desired. Then covered over completely with tomato juice. They can be several layers deep, and take longer to cook, like about 3 hours. Great for a potluck. Thanks for the lovely video! 🍅
The white rice can be stuffed uncooked but the rolls should then be pierced to allow the rice to swell.
Thank you for sharing! Sounds delicious!
My mama used to make those and my grandmother we're Russian my grandparents didn't use garlic or onion they felt it was offensive but my mother always used onion and garlic and everything you said in her cabbage rolls and I'm trying to remember what we called them
Thank you for sharing!
Best Gawumpki(golobki)recipe there is!! More tomato soup the better it is too.
Thank you so much! 😁
Keep up great work ken
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Thank you.
😋 yum
Mmmm, Campbells' tomato soup! now thats living.
Exactly how my Polish Grandmother made them. I like the Ukrainian version too. ❤❤ I will be making these for New Year.
Yummy...I always sauté my onions first...
Sounds delicious! Thank you!
My late Polish In-Laws made it like yours but sometimes added saurcraut to the top. It was really yummy 😋
Oh how nice. That does sound good! 😀
Love me some Golumpki
Right on my friend!
Thanks!
Thank you very much! Hope you have a wonderful day!
When you mention 3/4 of the water is that 3/4 can of water per can? I’ve
Never ever made these. Tu for the video 😊
Instead of tomato soup, try using a few cans of diced tomatoes, and a few jars of marinara
Man wish I could find 75/25 anywhere! Think the fattiest I’ve found is 80/20. Mostly see 85/15
80/20 would be great if you can find it. Good luck !
You forgot the brown sugar and vinegar in the sauce.
A more easy way...ready: cut cabbage up...cook ground beef...cook rice. Then stir all together...can add onion/garlic....add tomato soup as needed...put in crock pot...and cook high or low until done...
NO, THEN ITS NOT GOLUMKI 😂
My Ukrainian grandmother approved of this when my mom tried it.
You skipped a step--putting sauce or leaves on the bottom BEFORE you put the golumpkis in.
