About Rick and Morty:
Rick and Morty is Adult Swim's most scientifically accurate animated comedy. Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, it catalogues the bizarre misadventures of a bored scientific genius/drunkard and his socially awkward grandson, Morty. Their exploits tend to have unintended consequences for Morty's dysfunctional family, especially his unfailingly mediocre father, Jerry. Watch Rick and Morty battle everything from interdimensional customs agents to Cronenberg monsters now, only at AdultSwim.com.

Love how we know that Rick really cares about Morty, but at the same time he finds that part of him as a weakness. He basically hates to love Morty
Kiuraz So…Rick is a friggin’ tsundere 🤣
1:27 - HE SAID EVIL MORTY
I had a theory where Evil Morty was actually that "Clean" version of Morty that got detoxified. That version proved capable of whatever Evil Morty is capable of, the similarities between his success as a stock broker, his lack of empathy towards those he scammed smooth talking them and his indifference towards Rick choosing to get away from him and start a new life living on his own, getting together with that chick and so on compared to how he smooth talked his way into becoming the Citadels supreme leader.
Also, why would that perfect version of Morty get so careless as to leave the phone open so Rick could track him down and revert him back to normal ? Why wasn't he showing any emotion when he realized that and Rick came back for him? He was..smiling "Do what you have to do". That would be the perfect plot to get away from Rick, making a clone of himself or robot or even a Morty from another dimension or whatever to return so he could become a ghost.
Or maybe that's just a foreshadow of what Evil Morty is capable of achieving and Morty's true potential
I mean they spent their days together, and even more special they go for adventures in outer space like it’s gonna make a bond w that person
He might also like morty more than Beth?? It’s her daughter yet he wasn’t there for 14 years?
@@oTurkish13x Its amazing how far you took what he said out of context
"puen.....puen..puen...whiooOoioOoiO..... sucks everything out "..best quote from the episode..😂
Ders 😂😂 I forgot abt that.. best quote of morty in this episode then. .
Ashmit verma have you ever been peed on before? oh my god yum!
"Sea cucumber! SEA CUCUMBER!"
Ashmit verma
No terry flower song iz
Ashmit verma 😂
"It's the stuff we want to remove from ourselves to make us feel better, but that stuff is the best part of us"
Damn that's deep
For me, this message is nothing new. I've heard and seen it a few times before in other shows and movies.
He never says it's the best part. He says it's still A part.
Luz Destruy Ealmund Because we like idea that a doofy stoner comedy can also make us think and have emotionally and narratively sophisticated ideas. It's like the promo for season 3 said, "only a show this smart can be this stupid.".
So i should keep my shit?
Not only should you keep it, you should keep TOGETHER, SUMMER.
This show is so genius. But why does Justin Roiland always sound so sarcastic and done with everything lol
TheGoldenRaptor
that's the bad part about him, ppl get mislead feelings because of this, but...you gotta fucking own it
He just sounds chill and relaxed to me idk
coz hes a tosser
That’s just how he talks.
Hung over
I like the idea that Rick considers a specific emotional attachment to Morty to be irrational, and without it he's a thoughtful, compassionate person but his compassion is all generalized - he feels the same way about *everyone*, but has no specific, personal attachments.
To Healthy-Rick, a perfect stranger means as much as his own grandson, which is why he can threaten Toxic-Morty without hesitation - his family no longer matters to him any more than anyone else. Would it be better to have specific, irrational emotional attachments or care about everyone equally but impersonally? Hmm...
Justin roiland is so great here they all are being serious and explaining psychology and he just goes "bad stuff is still us, gotta fuckin own it"
This is the strongest episode in the season so far
Ciannaic you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance.
The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
x x Writing comments like this won't help with the ladies good sir
Es a copy pasta mi amigo
x x is clearly very smart
But Shien The Kid isn't oh well
This episode has such a good message. Best one in the season.
I personally liked the vindicators one better, but this imo was the 2nd best.
Kirby Cop97 I loved that one too
Alvie _ I haven't seen it yet but I love noob noob 🤣😂
Alvie _ damn it has such quality like this. Thank you Justin Roland and crew.
Level: OB TBH I didn't enjoy the ones that were in it for the laughs. I genuinely think they were teaching the audience something in a humorous way in this episode.
This is probably my favorite episode of the season. Well...besides the first episode but that's like a whole thing in and of itself.
I don't really care if an episode is funny or not. I just want the writers to stay true to the characters and theme of the show. The last few episodes, especially the pickle Rick episode was severely missing out on what makes this show good and the characters compelling. Glad to see Rick and Morty back to full form in this episode.
ProfessorGanymede OH LETS BREAK IT DOWN!
+ProfessorGanymede I love your profile pic.:)
Roiland keeps sounding so bored out of everything.
Either that or he's high 24/7
both
plus he's on meth
GodlikeCat Or maybe he's really just trying to be serious, lol.
also he is partly drunk when he do the rick's voice, because it's how he make him burp all the time
Touch my terry folds
kclowney97 Grab my Terry fold flaps.😂
kclowney97 terryfold is an actual song by chaos chaos, who have another song featured in the series, but terryfold is featuring Justin Roiland's voice. Hilarious song!
squeez'em tight ...........................................yousonofabitch
When he was saying that I thought he was referring to Scary Terry's gross skin folds/flaps
Best episode yet
RizonielTV you are not wrong
One of the few episodes not written by a woman. That's probably why it was funny and interesting instead of just family drama.
Maxatrillion *coughs*
Love your channel fam
No season 5 episode 3 is better
Edit: you did not read that wrong
Rick confirmed tsundere
weeb shit
Elva Light he always has been one
He's always been a filthy tsundere lol
Lmaooooo
I thought ricks toxin being family love coulda been pushed more with good rick, with bad rick it was immediate and surprising.
Maybe if good rick was even more emotionless?
Like his anger was the major toxin, but ut turned out to be his whole emotional spectrum, love included.
jay folk Dude, its not "Good" Rick and Morty. Its "Healthy" Rick and Morty. Did you even watch the 1 min video? Because the definition of bad and good doesn't apply to the toxic counterpart of either Rick and Morty so there isn't any "Bad and Good" parts.
Martin Ramos The different parts of them are based off of what they think is bad about them.
Shannax Games which doesnt necessarily mean they are bad just because others or themselves view it to be so.
Nobody exists on purpose
Nobody belongs anywhere
Everybody's gonna die
come watch tv
deep af
So comforting
Still waiting on that tear jerking gut punch this season I know it's gonna happen
BansheeVocalist 1 Season 3, Episode 9, Morty finally learns the truth
It says a lot that in this behind the scene stuff you talk about Character and Story and not superficial stuff
Season 3 has been lit so far, digging the exploration of all the characters
*This show is f*cking therapy*
no it's not, go watch bojack
@@Psychobum91932 I have and nah you’ll definitely need therapy after that show😬😂
This season is amazing, been watching since Doc and Morty and I was nervous on how long it took for this season to be released, but every single episode has lived up to what I wanted them to be. 0 disappointments.
Still not in this episode thanks guys
you are in every episode we all can see you in the intro
A plumbus, the most useful thing in the multiverse. You are omnipresent, my friend.
Darren Henry guys I want them to physically use me like rick making toast or doing experiments and using me some other way
I think I saw a toxic version of you.
They're waiting on a shipment of dinglebop.
The people behind Rick and morty are true artists because they want to connect with people by processing and making you think
This episode was probably my favorite out of season 3. It actually had a Rick and Morty feel to it. It had a good amount of humor in it, good plot, and highly interesting. More pls.
Where can we buy the “Squanchtendo” shirts? 1:36
I actually wish these were longer, personally i'd like to see a whole documentary of what Dan and Justin think about this season lol
This was an amazing episode and the bts makes it so much more amazing
And that's the way the news goes!
Aids!
GrrrAAAASssss...tastes bad.
i really love this episode because it actually shows how much anxiety can hold back people
Terry folds should win a award for best song on earth
touch my foldy flaps!
I love the "Inside [insert newest 'Rick and Morty' episode] clips. Keep it up peeps; love ya!
This show is brilliant on a seemingly infinite number of levels
"Just gotta fuckin' own it" Never have i heard a more inspirational thing.
People who said Season 3 sucks probably changing their minds now
nope
People that hate this season are literally dumb
Zach Gerrity You are "literally" using "literally" incorrectly.
"cancer atheism" the fuck dude? lmao
Chicken
that makes no sense.
Great episode, my favorite of this season so far. Had genuine jokes and layers to it. Amazing show.
Was also wondering, does anybody know what song is playing in the background?
Definitely liked this episode, it's no wonder this season took so long to write, got some deep character analysis going on
Did Ryan just tease *Evil* *Morty?*
every episode is getting better and better
I think this was the best episode of season 3 so far. Good job.
Sad you cant clear toxicity like this on every game with ranked mode
Murmaxy Gaming *Cough* overwatch *cough*
"Hey man the stuff that we think are our worst qualities... still a part of who we are. Just gotta fuckin own it." Word.
each time i see roiland in one of these videos the lego boxes in the background are stacked higher and higher
My favorite episode so far this season
My favorite part of the episode was the fact that they put so much talent and effort into a joke song that plays a grand total of less than a minute during the episode.
can someone tell me the background music? I don't know why I just love it
3x06... this season so far has been so amaxing that i didnt realize its near the end
1:33 Preach, Man.
1:33 hey man, the stuff that we think are our worst qualities, still a part of who we are, just gotta fuckin' own it.
God damn this show is smart
"Hey man, the stuff that we think are our worst qualities, still a part of who we are; just gotta fucking own it!"
:')
powerful message much love
I like how that one guy has a bunch of boxes of Lego behind him
1:52 I love this soft boy.
This has been the best season yet
By far the best episode this season.
So far my favorite episode in the season
If this channel was just about Rick and Morty I would be a subscriber
That squanchtendo shirt is amazing
This episode was pretty deep.
I like how their makeing these videos so we can have an inside of what the episode means
every time justin roiland says anything in this video I just think "well that is a shit ton of lego"
The writing this season is absolutely crazy
This show just gets more deep and more meaningful.
I love this episode, just like the whole show
this episode made me emotional
I love this episode sm
Justin Roiland has so many legos! he must've been the coolest kid in school!
This video sounds like one of those where they tell people that you are happier when you are poor.
654pedro123 word
In some cases, yes. But it's all relative, of course...
Yeah. As someone with super low self confidence, idk if I'm okay with being told that I'm better off this way. It's like if your inhibitions had their foot in the chest on your ambitions. (I can't believe I have to say the following but considering the way this fandom behaves, let me clarify that I don't see myself as any of these funny fictional characters and anyone who does is too dull in the head to understand how complex people are
but that same low self confidence might be the basis for your other strengths, for instance being meticulous and careful in everything you do, and behaving less recklessly. Someone who's too confident of themselves usually end up being narcissistic, careless and perceived as condescending and unlikable to others. Every weakness comes with a strength
@@neontime8507 I don't think that's what they were trying to say though. They're not saying you should wallow in self hate and let your flaws and struggles consume you. They're saying that it's ok to have emotions that you consider to be ugly as long as you properly work through them. For Rick and Morty, that's what it was; they felt their strong emotions (insecurity/anxiety, loneliness/love for others) held them back, so they got rid of them. But it didn't make them healthy. I think that's the point here, that even if you think everything will be fine if you try to take away the parts of yourself you hate, you're still not truly working through why you hate them and how to keep them from controlling you, so you just end up as a different kind of bad.
I love when you draw naked Rick, nice
that music is funky
I missed the episode, do i have to wait for reruns to see it?
Is This Organic?
1:38 HE ALREADY LOOKS LIKE A PICKLE WOOOO
I like how Rick sees anger and hatefulness as toxic
You can't have a rainbow without a little bit of rain. There is no real 'toxic' part of us, it's just what we call the stuff that hurts us or others around us. Rick knows this but probably gave up the hope that the rainbow is gonna come. A great episode.
I will always notice Justin's massive pile of Lego sets in the background and how he thinks they'll become valuable one day.
I hope too Justin, so do I
Awesome Rick and Morty Video.
Truer words have never been spoken
1:33 that hit me hard
This episode explored the same idea and premise of “a clockwork orange “. Completely removing the negative tendencies or in this case “detoxifying” someone to the point of inescapable servitude . Incapable of free will …
Yo, can I get a link to the bg music. It sounds cool
Токсичный Рик и Морти рулят!
I also like to think that this episode is a throw back to the original animatic and early days for Rick and Morty, where Morty was just a "punching bag" for Rick. While we later see that toxic Rick carries the emotions for Morty, he constantly treats him poorly before that, and Morty has absolutely no confidence to stand up to Rick. Another thing is that early criticisms of Morty included that his voice was annoying, and in this episode, toxic Morty says "I think my voice is annoying", and Rick replies "Yeah, and it's your best quality". Definitely a cool episode.
Guess that dig on Justin about collecting Lego sets is true after all
It’s like the yin and yang ☯️ light and dark that gray part is what makes everyone human
Think about it!
easily the best episode from season 3.
Just gotta fucking own it...
Mind blowing every fucking time!!!
god i fucking love this show
I can't find the full episode ANYWHERE. Not on CZcams. The adult swim website. NOT EVEN THE CHANNEL ITSELF GODDAMIT

Loving and getting attached others is definitely not the best part of oneself.
Half way through S3, please for my Squanch dont make us wait long for S4.
Moral of the episode, some parts of you you may not like, but they make you what you are.
Esta gente son genios
"What the Fuck is Wrong with You?!?"
I meant that in a good way.
WHY IS THERE NO TEASERS FOR TODAY'S EPISODE?
"You do know me"
why AS uploads this quality content in the same account with borderline Daytime Fighting League?
I want those drones!
It feels like Justin is drunk in every one of these clips
