LoserlyCool, I can see their point. She went from scared/curious in S2 to a complete badass bitch in S3 episode 1, on top of that some female writers were hired. Make the connection and yes, seems like women infiltrated a mans show and forced women empowerment into it for the female audience. But on a personal level I don't give a shit, its a cartoon show and so as long as the show revolves around "Rick and Morty" i'm happy - they are what make this show golden.
James F Issues like unfair custody rulings are an actual feminist issue, though. Unless you're talking about the feminists who want to exile men (which are the fringe radfems who are a small minority), it's generally agreed that duties like housework and parenting should be split evenly between the mother and father, and that fathers should be considered actual parents with responsibilities equal to the mother's -- and not just 'helping out' or 'babysitting' when they parent their child. If fathers are treated as equal parents as they should, issues like who gets custody of children would be based on merit and capability to provide for the child, and not on whether or not the mother is there and wants them, as it is now. If you did some digging, you'll find a fair few 'men's rights' issues actually come up as part of feminism -- including securing awareness and justice for male victims of rape and domestic abuse.
All I imagine is Rick going into the emergency case, seeing that the "Scenario 4" Instructions are missing, sighing, restocking, and then going to Summer to find a way to apologize but not apologize because she didn't follow Step 10.
When you think about it... Rick is protecting Morty from becoming like Rick. All those memories, all those "mind blowers" are catalyst of insanity. Rick knows everything Morty forgot and it's that kind of stuff which drove him to become a nihilistic, suicidal alcoholic.
Come on, Morty won a draughts game and Rick removed that so Morty would never feel superior. Rick is a piece of shit, can't wait for Morty to go insane and kick his ass.
"Watch as Mortar goes from a starry-eyed child and the audience's point of reference to a jaded tag-along whose greatest adventure with Rick will be eventually murdering him"
Or he wants him to forget so he could take Morty to more adventures? And some things he erased purely because they were memories of him specifically at fault or looking a fool. Hell Morty beating Rick at checkers would do wonders for the boy's self-esteem. But since it would damage Rick's ego he erased that memory. Honestly it seems he just doesn't want to have to deal with the aftermath of when Morty is scarred in constructive that would help him grow as a person.
This season is showing just how capable Morty and Summer have had to become just to deal with the fallout of Rick's shenanigans. They've definitely inherited at least some of his smarts.
Omnisprime yeah. I noticed when Summer was trying to enlarge her breasts. Like she set it up and everything. And Morty was able to figure it out and fix her. Definitely inherited some of his smarts.
Aboslutely. Remember 3x1 , how she was the only one who was so keen on getting Rick back? How familiar she is with his stuff? She is smart. She is loyal to Rick and Morty. And she is a badass. Honestly, I love her character. The fact that she can still act like a typical teenage girl at times makes her real and well written too.
It makes me wonder if the card said to leave the room because Rick already knows he and Morty would blame her for them falling asleep and start treating her like shit.
While that's very much true by his own admission, it's actually mostly him just hedging his bets with Summer. He probably keeps her more-or-less up to speed on the dumb shit he and Morty do just in case things go sideways. Also pretty sure they bonded over getting jacked and beating the shit out of people.
If she's getting paid for this, it would be a salary, not per-incident payments. He would have no trouble remembering to pay her regularly, even if he doesn't know how often she needs to do her job.
I disagree and she acts like this is normal because it is dude it's not like she and Rick haven gone through or talked about this before this and she already knew what she had to do
notice that she assumes it's a scenario 3, but upon discovering it's a 4 she takes a secure instruction card out of the MIDDLE container... there are two other cards... now obviously what differentiates a 3 from a 4 is Ricks memory being wiped, which means a card is not necessary for a 3 (unless it's how to deal with a three in his absence) so assuming the containers are for 3 4 5 respectively, WTF IS A 5
ASSUMING: Scenario 3 is only Morty forgetting who he is, and Rick fixing it, which is why Summer sounds so okay until she realizes Rick also doesn't know who he is. Scenario 4: They both forget! Scenario 5: They kill themselves.
high tech equipment but labels with tape and crude writing. I am now running through Rick and morty episodes just to find those crude labels....I have lost it.

@@sacr3 bruh wut
That was most important step "Whem Rick & Morty awake leave the room"
All I imagine is Rick going into the emergency case, seeing that the "Scenario 4" Instructions are missing, sighing, restocking, and then going to Summer to find a way to apologize but not apologize because she didn't follow Step 10.
When you think about it... Rick is protecting Morty from becoming like Rick. All those memories, all those "mind blowers" are catalyst of insanity. Rick knows everything Morty forgot and it's that kind of stuff which drove him to become a nihilistic, suicidal alcoholic.
Really makes you think doesn't it? You can't take life and its innocence for granite.
Thiago Albornoz that's what everyone is predicting
This season is showing just how capable Morty and Summer have had to become just to deal with the fallout of Rick's shenanigans. They've definitely inherited at least some of his smarts.
Omnisprime yeah. I noticed when Summer was trying to enlarge her breasts. Like she set it up and everything. And Morty was able to figure it out and fix her. Definitely inherited some of his smarts.
Or just know how his tech works. She was already capable of sending them Iron Man suits in the Purge episode
too bad they are also part fucking jerry.
Omnisprime how do you inherit intelligence?
Omnisprime but inherited most of Jerry's stupidness as well
she missed a step; didn't bother leaving the room
One of my favorite scenes/episodes.
This scene was so satisfying
LoL! It's true!
Yeah i noticed that, especially the sounds
I love how calmly competent she is.
The power of Foley.
Scenario 3: Morty loses memory.
Scenario 4: Rick and Morty lose memories.
What are scenarios 1 and 2?
Scenario 1: Morty loses partcially his memory
Scenario 2: Rick loses partcially his memory

I love how Rick just leaves tutorials around the house in case something goes horribly wrong
She forgot to do the last step: "When Rick and Morty awake leave the room."
I love how summer just casually does this like she does it every weekend
Why do you love it? Are you some kind of loser that watches rick and morty all day and over analyze it to look smart if so thats so very sad.
Suck My Toast umm it was just a joke
@@ApostleOfCats You're a joke you immaculate garbage.
@@suckmytoast3351 Wow, you must a problem. Go the fuck outside, you manlet.

Summer is slowly turning into my favorite character.
Stevie same she's such a badass here
Nica Cirilo How
Nica Cirilo Thats not badass at all.
Retarded .Turtle oh okay 🙂
Hey, that zoom on the instructions so we could read it was a nice touch, and you even added music. Thanks for that.
Summer’s attitude in this one is perfect
Summer went from conventional teen obsessed w/being cool to mildly psychotic. She's def the coolest kid at school now.
I love that pose summer does when she shoots rick and morty. That "hips cocked to the side" pose.
Is that weird?
I too, found this hot
Btw, Summer has Jerry’s face
But beth's body
Fucking coomers
I was reading ur comment, when I realized that I have stopped the video just on THAT moment, LUL
The fact this was all taken care of this simply amazes me of the story writers
"When Rick&Morty awake leave the room"
She clearly missed that instruction
I love how Rick predicted that the moment he awoke he’ll start verbally abusing summer so he told her to go out of the room.
It makes me wonder if the card said to leave the room because Rick already knows he and Morty would blame her for them falling asleep and start treating her like shit.
Who else paused it to read instructions and found that they already show it at the end?
Summer failed task 10, thats why they ripped into her.
The fact that Rick trust Summer with these sort of things is proof on how much Rick trust and cares for summer
While that's very much true by his own admission, it's actually mostly him just hedging his bets with Summer. He probably keeps her more-or-less up to speed on the dumb shit he and Morty do just in case things go sideways.
Also pretty sure they bonded over getting jacked and beating the shit out of people.
@@MrCrunchytime Well he sure has hell can't count on his own daughter and especially fucking Jerry....fuck Jerry.
@@voodazz Is r/fuckjerry a thing? Like r/fuckmanny but for jerry? Or a discord server?
If she's getting paid to do this, does Rick even remember to pay her?
Zoras88 it is ACH payment. She is being paid automatically.
If she's getting paid for this, it would be a salary, not per-incident payments. He would have no trouble remembering to pay her regularly, even if he doesn't know how often she needs to do her job.
It might be the ship that pays her. *Keep Summer Payed*
So… how many times has this happened?
I like how summer relationship with Rick is solve problems that Rick can’t.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this was funny
Lourdes Ramirez this shit was funny asf
Thinking negative about a good show was great
Absolutely hated this show since day 1. That's why I tune in every time a new episode airs and not laugh
I only watch this when I'm having a bad day because I want to feel shittier
The first 2 replies are pretentious af. Thanks, R&M fanbase.
Summer is easily the most badass in the family, god damn
She is my favorite too.
You forget Rick and Mr poopy butthole
I disagree and she acts like this is normal because it is dude it's not like she and Rick haven gone through or talked about this before this and she already knew what she had to do
Okay, Noob Noob
"self harm?????"
*scene stats with them immediately pointing guns at their heads saying their about to end it all*
"oh, right."
I love how casual Summer is
notice that she assumes it's a scenario 3, but upon discovering it's a 4 she takes a secure instruction card out of the MIDDLE container... there are two other cards...
now obviously what differentiates a 3 from a 4 is Ricks memory being wiped, which means a card is not necessary for a 3 (unless it's how to deal with a three in his absence)
so assuming the containers are for 3 4 5 respectively, WTF IS A 5
Probably if they killed themselves
@@GamingWithNikolas Or nearly everyone losing their memory
I think a better question is, why is it 3 4 and 5 scenarios? Not 1 2 and 3? Where's 1 and 2? Is there more than 5 scenarios?
@@shadowhunter1429 1 and 2 probably don't need instructions because they are probably very minor
ASSUMING:
Scenario 3 is only Morty forgetting who he is, and Rick fixing it, which is why Summer sounds so okay until she realizes Rick also doesn't know who he is.
Scenario 4: They both forget!
Scenario 5: They kill themselves.
high tech equipment but labels with tape and crude writing. I am now running through Rick and morty episodes just to find those crude labels....I have lost it.
Much like how people label electrical switches in pencil and it fades....
Gotta love how Summer ignored the final step which lead to the barrage of abuse from both and she just doesnt care 😂
This also implies Rick knew him and Morty would cuz her out in this scenario lol
I like how whenever Summer is a badass, she's got some sort of stick in her mouth, here it was a lollipop, in the next season it's a toothpick
She had a toothpick in season 4, but then it turns out the toothpick was a defense mechanism against face hugging aliens that took over Rick and Morty's body.
0:22 ASMR tingles
Starts from 00:19
Summer is kind of awesome some times. She's the only one who seems to have a healthy mix of love for her family and self-awareness.
I love how much faith Rick has in Summer to be a backup plan.
Does summer keep that necklace with a key on it around her neck at all times?
If only she had follow the last rule(Leave the room) XD
Dallas dean She really is a dumb bitch.
guess she was curious
At least Rick tried to protect her from how shitty they are as people.

I think she she got used to it

Embarrassingly late to this party ,my God best show on TV hands down thank you ,Pure joy, beats the fuck out of reality that's for goddamn sure
I love how summer is just so chill about this. 😂 she just expects this shit to happen
"Everything is crooked, reality is poison. I can't live like this"
Glad I'm constantly disassociated. My theology is similar to Rick's.
LAMBS TO THE COSMIC SLAUGHTER!!
actually ... after watching this scene again, I guess in this scene .. somewhere in some random universe Evil Morty was born and That dumb rick was born too by swapping the blue and yellow
Frekki how would that create evil morty
No, it would just be morty in ricks body and rick in mortys body. Same consciousness different physical bodies.
@@hakenbacker memories don't equal consciousness.
