  • February 2022 - A clear but breezy day, I visited the magnificent Larpool Viaduct near Whitby, spanning the river Esk and the Esk Valley. The Viaduct was part of the Scarborough & Whitby Railway that opened in 1885 and closed in March 1965 following the Beeching Report. The viaduct is not straight, has 13 arches and is 305 metres long. Today the viaduct carries walkers and cyclists as part of the cinder track. Filmed using a CAA registered Hubsan Zino Pro in 4K 30FPS
