I grow my nails really long naturally for years just because I love how it looks. Believe it or not I can open a soda can quite easily. You just have to get used to it and a good tip is to not think of your nails as an extension of your fingers and use the sides of your fingers to touch, press, and pick up things. You did a great job on the drawing in general and a great job for your first time trying long nails. Also, when moving heavy objects like a desk for example, using your whole dominant forearm at a bend helps a lot and helps prevent broken nails.

I used to not do it a lot cause my nails were so short and ugly but then I grew them out and started using a nail file and used my time in quarantine to paint them a lot lol so now they're a lot nicer and I paint them all the fucking time.

I have ADHD and suffer from struggling big time with consistency.
Your videos are so welcoming to me because seeing you take hours and hours for one drawing makes me feel at ease. I spend a few hours on a drawing and think to myself, "Why am I so slow at this? I wish I could be as good as other artists." But then I came across your videos and saw that it takes you just as long as it takes me, and made me realise that I am actually fine with everything!

I love watching your videos! I draw manga-style too, but I usually use 0.5 for outlines and 0.3 for fine details, like eyelashes, strands of hair, and fingernails. :) It’s always interesting to see how other artists use their tools!

Me: I've been here for almost 4 years now.
Depending on the nail form, it is actually supposed to be pinched at the end so it’s more in a triangle/claw like shape when you’re using it on your nail. i do my nails all the time, and made the mistake of messing up the nail forms when i first started doing my nails. So I usually use polygel and dual forms instead. still the cutest video ever!
So you know, these wouldn’t be considered acrylic nails - but rather press-ons with gel. You can use _BUILDER_ gel (a different kind) to create a whole nail, but it does take a lot of practice. For acrylic nails, you need acrylic nail powder and liquid monomer.
Those are also REALLY long, even for women who wear nail extensions of any kind every day. We all have chores and they take a toll, and eventually you’ll jam the nail, either breaking the extension, causing lifting of the product from the nail, lifting the natural nail from the nail bed (OUCH), or any other number of nasty things you just don’t want to experience. The Nail Career Education channel is super helpful for all kinds of fake nail products and techniques! Keep at it, it’s so much fun.

Its really good for the first time youve worn long nails. The longer you have long nails, the more you get used to it but precision is totally out the window. Also it helps to curl your index finger and use your thumb to pick stuff up with long nails like that
