That's a highly unrealistic standard to place upon artists, even the good ones. She quite obviously screwed up her second drawing because she didn't understand how to work a new material she got. Typically, it's better to test a new medium on something small (like a test drawing). She wasted a ton of ink on that drawing. Of course, it happens to everyone, and I'm not saying she's dumb for making a mistake. Lots of artists make mistakes. Let artists be bad, okay?

Minori is my comfort youtuber her whole channel is just really comforting to me and I always watch her when I’m sad:)
When using masking ink, it seems that if you do not mask it first and then dry it thoroughly before coloring it, it will bleed and the paper will be pulled.
I remember first seeing art from the Sailor Moon manga and being mystified as to how the colors were so soft and smoothly blended when I was a kid. Seeing you do these coloring pages with the Copics and the airbrush really helps visualize the process that went into creating those images, I love understanding how the magic happens.
This was a cool video! You really inspire me minori and since I started watching you my art has gotten so much better. I started using the pencils, led, and erasers you use and they work like magic. I can’t thank you enough for helping me grow in my art journey. I’m no where near done but you gave me a big boost. I honestly can’t thank you enough and tell you how amazing you are!! ❤️❤️❤️

Adorable! I love how you make it look like the original art, and not using the remake colours. I grew up on the original (I was made in the 80s) and the remake looks weird to my brain. These were great, I hope you do more pages, Mercury and Jupiter are my favourite, I would love to see you do one of Ami-chan!

That's a different way in an airbrush way. I been an artist for 30 years. I'm 35 have never see that. That's cool, in my art studio I have an airbrush area different airbrushed etc. I love trying different things. Mixing styles, techniques lol sometimes not always working the way I imagine.

Hope this helps: My masking tape technic is to
1) press tape on bare clean skin on my arm
2) place tape
3) take the back of my nail and scrap/press the tape to make a solid seal;
making sure to overlap tape edges and scrap/press before placing an overlapping tape
Main reason I press tape on skin is to weaken it, because if I scrap/press without step one the paper will rip when I take the tape off

Oh no! I just watched the masking fluid section!! I tried the same thing on some coloring pages in my video this week and it did the same thing!! Masking fluids are MUCH better on rough watercolor paper. Next time, try masking film and cut it out with a Stanley knife… similar to how you used the tape. That’s what ended up working for me! (I’m publishing my video about it tomorrow)

Masking fluid is most commonly used with watercolours where it is put it in those areas which should remain white. If you want colour the masking fluid is erased (helps to use an eraser) and then you'll be able to colour it in. The masking fluid is also available as a pen.
Btw it’s sooo cute!
That was really cool! I think what is super important when using masking fluid is that the paper is super dry when you put it on and super dry when you peel it off.
Also there is masking sheet which is super easy to use for airbrushing

my experience using masking fluid as a watercolor artist:
the paper should be thick enough to withstand peeling of the liquid. (thickness of post card paper should be fine)
wait for the liquid to dry before painting over it.
wait for the paint on top of it to dry before peeling it
