For anyone who wants to do this at home! ❤️ You can mix water with gelatin or agar (agar is an animal free product you can use instead off gelatin)! Make sure to use a lot of gelatin/agar so it’s very concentrated ❤️💖🍓
Pour it into your mold that is oiled or baking sheet wrapped! 💖 I have done this many times and I recommend it since it’s really affordable and works just as good ❤️

This is definitely a form of printmaking, but such a different approach. In my time, we would roll things under the printing press to get our image. Now kits just come with rollers. Very interesting. I love how often you try different things.
Minori, I just love that you did a cityscape because when I took printmaking, I did cityscapes the entire time. I wonder what it is about this medium that inspires such thoughts. I think the cityscape is my favorite of yours in this video because it was so creative and dreamlike. But, your final product is also very cool.
You should give linocuts a try sometime. With those, you'll want some wood carving tools and a sheet of linoleum. You carve out your image then cover it with printmaking ink. After that, place a blank sheet of paper over the image and use a rubbing baren which is a padded...thing that was made in Japan. You rub the paper with the baren and it transfers the image. It's such a fun experience. The cool thing about it is that you can reuse the same design over and over again. Also, it helps if the paper is slightly damp.

She really looks like Sakura! The first Manga I read was Card Captor Sakura and it's still my favourite because it's a huge part of my childhood. I bought the voulumes when they first came out in Germany and I read those so much they nearly fell apart

If you do decide to use it for merch you should experiment with fabric paints since acrylics won't last on clothing.

You inspired me to do different things out of my comfort zone
the leaf is so nice, it could be a nice small notebook cover, it's def a design i would buy if it were a notebook cover, or even a notepad with the pages as the leaf design, but reduced colour intensity, kinda faded but keep the hues

I’ve been hoping to take a printmaking class at some point so seeing this video is a huge inspiration.
The color of your dog and angel prints makes them look like antiques, and I love it. I also especially love your city scape 🌃. (If you still want to fix the black part on the bottom you can use a black colored pencil.)

These techniques are basics in printmaking. Even some photography classes teach transfer. The thing about printmaking and transfer prints is that they won't be perfect every time and that's the beauty of it. Also I totally thought that was Cardcaptor Sakura!!

You can also use stencils. I did a project with jelly print, where we ripped pages out of books (that belonged to the school library and were already damaged) then, we used stencils, rolled paint on them, then we put the pages over the stencil, and used the roller to roll the page over the stencils, and then peeled it off. It was very fun!

To make the line more noticeable you need to print on the same sheet twice with your design (the one you’ll use to transfer on the jelly, you print one time then take the same paper and print the same design inserting the paper in the same position), an ink layer will form this way, and it’ll let you print a better quality image when you transfer from the jelly on the final product you want, hope you see this and help you, keep having fun!!!🌈✨
