Here’s two respectable strong men, talking about a sensitive subject. I appreciate this video for young men who’ve had similar experiences and feel alone or too embarrassed to talk about it.
Seeing them openly talk about it makes me feel a lot more relieved with my own experiences. It’s scary how it happened to nearly everybody; mostly in young ages. I went to a city that I’ve never been in before with my parents, in a holiday. I loved football back then. We went in a park and i found a couple of friends who were into football as well. I don’t know how it happened, but suddenly we were too many and some adults were playing with us, too. One of them was a football teacher and he was in his late 20s. He showed a strange interest towards me and tried to learn me tricks and stuff. He complained me a lot and i was really happy about it. Then, suddenly, i noticed that he would hug me when i scored a goal or do good. I was 13 but I STILL didn’t know what was going on. He suggested me to go play together and some other weird stuff. Then i found out that this guy is off. I hate football since then.
4:50 I have never seen that emotion on Joe's face before. You can see the pain it caused him. To trust someone deeply and have them destroy the trust can break a child. It's nice to see that Joe rose above it. Not everyone does.
I had a buddy who’s neighbor would smoke weed with him some times when we were like 16 and he was like 45-50 and came off very odd. First time I met him he gave us a shit ton of free candy and snacks and asked us to come back anytime. He stopped one of my friends and asked him to come back alone some time. This friend was easily seen to be vulnerable due to the fact he carried himself in a way, didn’t have the best home life growing up. He goes over there alone and they guy says he’ll give him a bunch of free weed if he lets him suck his dick. He apparently ran out of there and broke the door on the way out.
Wish my story could have ended like these. Obviously unfortunately it didn't. The only one thing that probably keeps me somewhat sane is the fact that sometimes the sexual assaulted turns into the predator But if I have only one soul purpose on this planet is to make sure the chain of evil and pain ends with me. If your going through it right now reach out to someone, and definitely get some professional help as well.
joey: “puerto rican nelson, i went to his house” joe: “that was his name?” joey: “thats what we called him cuz he was puerto rican and his name was nelson” why is that the funniest shit ive ever heard
If any of this happens to you kids I hope you tell your parents. There’s no shame in it. It’s great that you recognized a predator. Now let your parents deal with that person. You will not be in trouble and no one will look at you different. You’ll be a hero to let your family know about those freaks. Promise you.🙏🏾🤙🏾

I’ve been shouting this from the rooftops for years, I have an 11 yr old daughter. I’ve only dated about 3 guyys, never brought one home . One of them was constantly telling me (in a creepy way) just how much he wanted to meet my daughter who was 5 at the time. He was immediately dropped. I haven’t dated since 🦋
I'm glad you shared you stories. Sometime people have a hard time sharing these things because their ashamed. I went to the window and asked my mom if I could help this guy find his belt buckle, she screamed what and when I turned around they were gone. I was a 6-7yo boy Fucked up shit. I'd probably be a corpse today if I didnt ask my ma
Man this conversation makes me love my Dad even more. Same thing literally happened to me back when I was kid (12yrs old). A dude (30yrs old) who I thought had really cool swag all of a sudden invited me to his house to "hang out"... Call it God, but as soon as I went into his front yard I saw my Dad in my peripheral SPRINTING towards me yelling: *"Boy get yo ass away from that faggot"* 😂😂😂 God I love my dad. Every once in a while I think to myself, what could've been if that day escalated?... This society is filled with so many predatory messed up people just freely walking the streets.
Love the story of the sweet librarian saving Joe from the predator and how Joe said he ran and hugged her and cried. That's so sweet and thank God she was paying attention. I hope she called the cops and said he tried to entice an 8 year old. And they busted him.
@@MrSuperman957 it's less surprising that they both met child predators, it would be REALLY a coincidence if they had both been attacked. As a woman, talking to other women, most of us assume the other has been through something like this or worse, because almost ALL of us have. But absolutely proud of these guys for being comfortable enough with themselves to discuss something like this publicly. Comment OP is totally right about most straight men not letting something like this come back to the surface, definitely not to discuss it for millions to listen to.
I have had a similar experience to Joe's fishing story. One day I was fishing at my neighborhood pond, and I lived out of town but it was next to the interstate so anybody driving past could see me fishing and what not. But one day this guy rolls up to the pond and I had never seen his truck before so I'm thinking, "This can't be one of my neighbors." And he gets out of the truck and it was immediately like he'd known me forever with how he was talking, so friendly and optimistic. And he was just asking me things like if I lived closeby and what I was fishing for. And we got to talking for a bit about just random stuff about fishing and life in general. The only red flag I really had with the guy was that he kept telling me how much he loved bass and crappie fishing but had no idea what the common tackle in my box was called (Crankbait, Crappie Jigs, etc.). Eventually it got to be almost sundown and he was talking about some bait he used once that he would always catch fish on and told me he would bring me some the next day and fish with me. And I was alright with that it didn't really strike any nerves for me. The next day rolled around and I invited my friend and his gf over to come fishing with me and they did. So we were fishing and I kept paying attention to the road to see if the guy was going to pull up again but he didn't. I saw his truck slow down a little bit and kept moving. Maybe he didn't have any intentions at all, but it wouldn't be a shocker if he did. I was 14 at the time so pulling off the side of the road and becoming good friends with a random teenager is a bit weird for a middle aged man.
@Vincent Morrison Yeah same. This is something that happens everywhere - city, suburbs, and rural areas. It's honestly such a shame because the predators usually get molested when they were kids so it's a constant cycle of pain
I feel like this is extremely underrated. Here’s two grown, strong, respectable men talking about such a sensitive subject and showing that even they’ve experienced it. Guys are so scared to seem vulnerable sometimes and share their feelings and I respect these two for talking about this and being role models for other men.
Thank you both for talking about this subject. Your both awesome for being able to discuss this subject in a matter of fact way. This inspires me to let go what happened to me.
It's awful how many kids and teens have predators approach them. When I was 8 years old I was walking from my local store, less than 5 minutes from my house and I lived in a safe area and always felt safe. This man kept whistling like there was a dog walking behind me. After a few times I turned around and realised there was no dog and nobody around. At that point I immediately knew this man was dangerous, just from the whistling and feeling I got. I started running at the top of my road, he also started running. I ran onto my driveway and rang our doorbell to be let in. When the door started opening he was just about to run on my driveway, then turned around and kicked a can and kept walking down the road. That's the day I realised I need to be careful because someone might hurt me. Thank goodness my mum opened the door when she did.
I realized years later that I basically prevented my neighbor and myself from being kidnapped and god knows what by a guy asking for directions from a couple 7-8 year olds who wanted us to get in his car.
Same, my strict asian parents, especially my mum kept telling me to stay away from weird adults. Yeah she was a bit racist in her approach focusing on Blacks and middle easterners, but it got me really suspicious of every adult.
I remember a time on holiday in wales, we were staying over the road from a pizza shop, my mum sent me to the pizza shop for food, I come out an this old creepy guy said hey kid, there is a car down here that I think needs a push, can you help me push it, me being 12 thinking i was he man said yes, we walked an walked an walked a bit more, still clutching the pizzas, we came to this car in a lane, as we got close he lunged at me, then an only then I thought shiiiiit, threw the pizzas an got on my toes, I ran to the nearest caravan an just burst in, he was chasing me, the people in the fucking caravan kicked me out, I couldn't talk I was that panicked, when I went in the van he span round an casually walked the opposite way, he seen me come out then proceeded to chase me, but I was 12 an could run then, I got back to were we was staying an my mum said were are the pizzas, I still couldn't get my words out but she knew something was up, I calmed down an explained, my uncle took me out to find the man, as we walked down through the caravan park he was hiding in between the caravans, my uncle gave chase an caught up with him, my mum had already rang the police, the creepy fucker then produced a kitchen knife on my uncle, but he must of been 60ish my uncle being 35 an filled with rage engaged hiM, managed to get the knife an throw it then proceeded to knock seven bells out of him an kept him there till the police came, I will remember that day for the rest of my life, clear as water, I shat myself, rip uncle he died a few years later.
You're lucky you got away their was a huge pedophile ring in Wales that would kidnap and sell kids, sometimes to wealthy yachtsman, it was even connected to jimmy saville at one point and a whole list of "high society" people, they would have the kids taken out on the yachts, raped and then killed to make sure they couldn't disclose any high profile individuals in parliament
And the kids were like "huh, weird" instead of "what the fuck, get away from this perv" if your old enough to play football alone your old enough to know what a sicko is
I've worked with thousands of kids as a coach and I have a daughter. How anyone can be so sick in the head that they see kids as something to prey on this way baffles me and grosses me out. As a father, too, I can guarantee if anyone tried to do anything to my daughter I'd quite possibly end up in prison for the damage I'd cause.
I personally think the pedophiles who claim to be nice/harmless, who groom the children, parents, and friends, and who try to pursue the relationship slow and calculated are the most dangerous and cause the most long term effects to their victims. You both are lucky to have gotten away.
@@user-jn4hf5jo2t you put people who commit crimes into prison you imbecile, pedophila is an attraction/mental problem. It's those who commit crimes that should be locked up.
@@wjdyr you would still use the phrase pedophile for those that committed the crime like Josh said.. not once did he use the term for their sexual preference. And to a large amount of people even just sexual preference has negative stigma, or is a crime in their eyes much like zoophilia, or necrophilia.
girls are taught to be careful of strange men when we're little but when I was coming up no one was telling boys the same. we need to teach both to be careful of these predators.
How would you know? You're girl right? Where I'm from it's pretty common to tell boys to never go with a stranger especially not in their car. When you're lost and someone's helping you find us (mom and dad) always stay in public places and it's best to go to people that work in the store for example.
@@XXLRebel I'm also in my 30s that might have something to do with it. but it could also very well be the area I come from. it's good now that all children are educated.
My parents taught us to be careful of strangers. But they didnt want to tell us what they would do so my mom would say people would kidnap kids and chop off their arms and legs.. I always wondered why..
There was a creep in our neighborhood who would somehow involve himself in our games. He scared me one time when we (my friends and I not the creepy old guy was at no point invited) were playing hide and go seek and I had a good hiding spot in a crawl space and he popped his head in and said “found you” in a creepy quiet voice, I got out of there so fast!
These predators have no clue how evil they are. We need to not be afraid to talk to our kids about these experiences that we've had. Children are innocent and do not have a clue unless we teach them. We can teach them or some looser will teach them for us.
When I was 7-8 years old, some guy tried luring my friends and I into his apartment. My brother and his boys were in the complex and saw this creep talking to us, and took things into his own hands. Didn’t find out until years later that my brother and his friends broke into the guy’s apartment, waited until he returned from work that night and jumped him. Dude moved out the next day.
red x17 Thank you for telling me you don’t believe it. I don’t know what you hope to accomplish by disbelieving something that happened or why you thought telling me would make a difference.
red x17 You’re disputing a story about something that happened when I was a child.... more than 15 years ago. The only proof I have is my brother’s word for it and he wasn’t exactly a law-abiding citizen when I was growing up. Plus that guy moved out a few days later? Am I going to take your word for it, or someone I KNOW was always getting arrested or kicked out of school for gangbanging and fighting. I think the answer is simple. The only person who has a problem is you, yet neither one of us know each other personally. If you want to call someone out on their “bullshit,” do it with everyone who had a similar experience.
That was a smart one that prolly would’ve worked longer on me. What was your reaction when u realized he doesn’t actually “steal bikes” and he likes touching kids
This sounds so intimate, like an intense conversation you'd have with a friend -- heck, maybe even an acquaintance. Really interesting. These things, when you retell them, remind you again how bizarre it all was.
When I was 9 or 10 I had a similar run in. My family was shopping at the south shore plaza in Braintree, MA and I sat outside a big department store as I didn’t want to be around my sisters who were dress shopping. A man and woman approach me, and to quote Joey Diaz here, “the energy wasn’t right”. They asked me who I was with, where they were and then grabbed me by the wrist. Luckily I was a corpulent youngster and pulling me was a chore and I able to push away the rag the woman tried to place on my mouth. They gave me a look of distain and hurried away as I ran off. Monsters exist, be vigilant people.
That's crazy man. I saw something on TV not too long ago, it was Will Smith's wife, what's her name? Jada Pink Eye or something yeah? Well it was like a 60 Minutes type of a deal that was bringing attention to the huge number of youngsters being abducted from shopping mall car parks by groups, or gangs of men who were snatching these poor kids away into suv's or mini-vans. It was a thing, so much so that Jada did this documentry type of a deal to make people aware. You just can't be too careful now these days, NEVER let your kids out of your sight.
Reminds of a time 2 years ago at the beach. this guy gets butt naked and decides to shower and really lather himself up.... taking his time to the surprise of all the tourists and guests at the beach. Some homeless black guy comes up to him and says "you know you can get arrested for that." and the guy replies "what?, I'm just taking a shower" and continued on. same exact response af the robe guy "I'm just getting some exercise."

Thank you guys for having this conversation
