  • In this video we replace our old IOTA automatic transfer switch with a new ESCO LPT50BRD automatic transfer switch. We talk about what is a transfer switch, how they go bad, what happened to ours, how to choose a replacement, and show how we installed ours.

I think this is the first time I've heard Nina speak, and of course, I'm delighted to hear that the English that she learned, is of the UK variety. Well, sort of. Watered down over the years having lived in the US of course, but fun to listen to just the same.

When I first met her she spoke the proper Queen's English. I'm afraid I'm part of the reason that's gone a bit by the wayside... Paul

Where does the inverter AC get injected into the system? Downstream from the transfer switch then?

Hey Brian, yes, the inverter sits down stream from the main breaker panel (which is just downstream from the transfer switch).
