Yo Hommie you just got a paint job for like what less than 200$. If u like it, you win. Just want u to know though that its gonna fade without a good clearcoat with uv blocker. But in 2 years if your up to do it again its all Wins. I will guarantee that 90% of the people u show the car to will say good job. For my car i put hours and hours of tedious back aching work on my car. I sanded to bare metal, expoy primer, highbuild then block sand and more highbuild, sand, seal with epoxy sealer, base coat and clear coat, then wet sand and buff clear coat all with expensive a** Omni paint. But im lazy and only wanted to do it 1 time, and im still here telling u good job. Its your car, its your way. Piece and Love
You should have recorded it.
You should wet sand it after a week with 1500 and 2000 wet sandpaper to get rid of the orange peel
Get one of those pop up tents and wrap it with bags to make a mini paint booth it works great

I hope you have a garage or make a home made paint booth. Putting 2 coats of clear wont be fun if you do it outside in the elements. Clear runs very easily.

Only time wear rubber gloves working brakes. They make sweat drip on paint jobs . I like the shape those accords but transmission always had problems 😢

Not bad but you’ve had to have the the can closer . You were about 16” away. Had to be closer so you have less orange peel

It looks decent from far but once you look closely it has a lot of orange peel, you shouldve brought it to me with 400 dollars i would ve painted the proffesional way with a spray gun and air compresor clear coated and detailed and buffed 👌

How long you have to wait before you do any biffing /compound polishing. I am rung rust oleum but i have tried buffing after 3-4 days and it just comes off with buffing even with the smoothest foam.

How long does the paint job last?
Since he didn't add any clear coat maybe like 2-5 yrs if taken care of properly. I'm leaning more towards 4yrs since he sanded down bad areas & didn't just spray over it, which if he didn't maybe like 2-3 yrs w/o clear coat. but Adding clear coat can extend time by another year or two.
Mine lasted about 2 yrs started to fade cause i didn't add clear coat

I don’t understand people taping everything up when it takes literally two seconds to remove these items. Your paint job could come out so much easier and it would be so much less work other than that. Great paint job for what it is.
