Fourth place is one of the most cursed places on idol. Tamyra Gray, LaToya, Chris Daugtry, LaKisha Jones, ane even Allison Iraheta last year all got fourth even though they quite possibly deserved better.
cause she knew the choices were strange.. shame though cause anyone in the top 10 let alone 5 is talented.. but goes to she she saw it was a bit unfair.. good on her though
@LYLS3637 When you have alot of singles that means your album is doing very well. Also having a record certified means you have made a profit in that country. 300million people live in The USA. The Philliphines have 101million. Latoya Didn't make a profit which is why she was dropped. Jasmine Trias is still signed. That says it all. 58k vs 300mill is HORRIBLE. Most artist who sell less than 300k in america like Christina Millian, Kels, and more were in debt to their label.
bo bice? are you kidding me carrie underwood should have soooo won that season hands down and i agree chris daughtry went home to early but in the long run that was what was best for his career and melinda...i think being eliminated as early hurt her career! so yea!
voice wise, LaToya London has it all (vocals, range) except she really has no fighting spirit of winning or she really has boring personality or maybe she's just down to earth. Fantasia was soulfully great but quite exaggerated sometimes. Jennifer was really voted out because she sings like Broadway although she has very big voice. look at this totally robbed contestant ever in AI history. Season's 3 Lisa Leuschner. I believe she would have won that season.
@LYLS3637 Jasmine was more sucessful becuz she was able to captivate a whole country and have a certified album. She had singles also that aren't accounted in sales. Also Jasmine had her own headlining gig in Las Vegas. I also understand what your saying but Latoya can't ever be announced as platium recoding artist. I know Latoya has had more sucess with acting but Jasmine can always go to the philliphines and sale out concerts and aslo in Hawii, Not Latoya. America hasn't accepted her.

Judges pushed fantasia to win so that is why diana were in the finale cause they knew fantasia would win regardless of who were in the finale with her.
SAD how Jennifer and LaToya got voted off before Diana and Jasmine but Jennifer is probably the MOST successful American Idol..
